Glad to have to get up this early to be the only one in to work today!!

Less people walking into my office though, and only have to work till 11 so it is ok.

Mornin' everyone!!

Overslept and had to run an 8-minute mile to catch my train so I would ONLY be an hour late for work. That's one way to start a Saturday morning i suppose.

Boy, a lot of us early birds this am! Morning, guys! Tomorrow, I have a better reason for getting up early - ADRs!!!

Have a great trip, Ron!

Thanks!

Only if he comes out completely bald.

:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2:

Better late than never. Nice new home! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Hey Mike! Thanks for stopping by with the update, keeping her in our prayers.

Seriously though. It seems I can't even turn around lately without tripping over some scantily clad lady.

Managed to get the KY version of a Dole whip at the state fair yesterday. Not the same as being in Disney but still tasted good.

Bet'cha that thing was a slippery sucker! :rotfl2::lmao:

Sorry....I don't know where my mind is this early in the morning...

:rotfl:

I haven't been to our fair for years. But, good to see they are trying. Maybe Disney will buy KY Kingdom and put a midwestern stop for those driving from places like Wisconsin. (Hey, I can always dream!)

Top of the morning gentlemen :surfweb:

Nemesis, are you up early working on your draft picks?

Hardly, just an early riser.

Do you and your family visit the Newport Aquarium much?

Hey there guys. Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days. Our eldest daughter Mary fell off a fence on Thursday afternoon and broke her elbow. Well, yesterday she had surgery to reset the orbital head which had been twisted and flipped in her fall.

She's doing very well today and is excited to show off her lime green cast to all her friends.

Now Mary wanted to add some smilies to this post.

:lovestruc :cutie:  :dance3: :laundy: :grouphug:
:littleangel: :p :crazy2: :mic: :faint:

Honestly, I've never been. That is a 3 1/2 hour drive at best. I've heard some good things about it, but I've also heard that Ripley's aquarium in Gatlinburg is better. I've been to the Ripley Aquarium there and I was really impressed.

Sorry to hear that. I've survived several broken arms and my youngest broke hers last summer. She thought the cast was cool to show off as well.

So the stress of DS entering the world has set in... I'm normally pretty good with stress, but for some reason, getting ready for baby #2, and our first boy, has done a number to my psyche. He's not due for another 2 1/2 weeks, but the Doc told us he expects the baby to come early. I don't know if it's the uncertainty or what, but I'm struggling to handle.

Any tips from the seasoned vetrans out there? All comments are appreciated (including random Admiral Ackbar pictures ;)).

It's nice to have a place to come and unload this. Thanks guys.

For us, a big adjustment was to the fact that, despite sharing DNA and home environment, the two kids turned out having very different temperaments. The first, for example, slept through the night at 5 weeks. The second didn't sleep through the night until... well, she's 4yo now, and we're still working on it.

I think you're fine with two. The trick is to never, NEVER let them outnumber you.

Keen eyed readers will spot the secret. :goodvibes
He IS Pregnant! Congrats Barry!!!

Ummm... looks good on you, though, Barry.

In all seriousness, congratulations to you and Bambi

I was hoping jelly was not involved in any way. Also, somebody who lives near us has a license plate: KY GIRL

I leave that for you without comment. :rolleyes1

Yikes! I am glad she's doing well, and has an appropriately colorful cast for the viewing pleasure of her friends.

.

So, you had the trick baby also. Our oldest slept thru the night as soon as we brought her home (for the most part). She napped during the day and wanted to be held by everyone. The youngest didn't stop crying for 3 or 6 months (or was it decades), would not sleep all night, and would only let DW or I hold her - EVER. She preferred DW but would let me hold her. That was rough.

We are occasionally known to utter the sentence, "If we had the second child first, we never would have had a second one."
