This is my 500th post.

Nice post, Kevin! Thanks for helping me ward off Dave's anti-Philly posts! :lmao:

OK...soooo I've had this Hubble Picture of the Butterfly Nebula as my Desktop background at work for months...and was wondering if y'all think this looks like a Hidden Mickey...Profile...not a classic °o°

Absolutely! Send it in!

Mmmmm - you're hungry now, aren't you?!?

I just ate my lunch and have a very full stomach...and yes, seeing this, I am instantly hungry again.

So okay - this whole phenomenon of "ownage" began with our good friend Fed several threads ago. What exactly is it that is so special about getting that first post on a page? :confused3 Pardon the lack of clarity on my part here... and my fun dousing, but what's the big deal, really, about one stinking little post at the top of the page? Hmmm? I think Steve had a good idea many moons ago (or at least about 250-300 pages ago in the last thread... I don't think anyone "owns" a page until they've been able to completely fill up one entire page by themselves. Just sayin'... and no, I haven't been successful at that myself... so no need to think I have.

So there you go... I've laid down the gauntlet... who's willing to take up the challenge and make it happen? :cool2: I'm curious to see who it will be... :rolleyes1

Remember guys, Mother's Day is less than a month away. Make sure your kids do something nice for the most important girl in their lives. I decided to do a Shutterfly photo book for my DW with pictures from every trip to WDW that we've done. I'm going through and picking out pictures to use. I'm only on our 3rd trip and I've got enough to fill 3 books! :scared1: Looks like I've got to start whittling it down a little bit.

This is my 500th post. I think all but 5 of the posts were on here. The ones that weren't were on that transportation board with that whole bus seating thing. (I know some of you remember that.) To the regulars thanks for the great conversations over the last couple of years. To the new guys and ones that don't post, jump in and start. Everyone here is friendly and willing to share their experiences.

Thanks!
Congratulations on the milestone!

Hmmmm.... something tells me I'm going to log in tomorrow morning and see that Stopher has been online filling a few pages sometime around 2 or 3 am.:rotfl2:

You owe DisDadDoc 100 points for posting on his page.

Excellent reminder there Barry! Thanks for that. Sunday, May 8th

My kids will be on their own this year - at least during the morning hours - as I'll be on a campout that weekend... gonna have to make sure they are set and ready to go before I leave on Friday. Been nominated in to the Order of the Arrow (Boy Scout National Honor Society), and that unfortunately, is the weekend of the Ordeal campout / ceremony for induction. My eldest was on this campout last year... and my youngest son (hopefully) will be on this campout next year... so sadly it won't be "complete" at home until I return home around noonish. Silly how the Council schedules this campout on the same weekend every year - for the past 50 or so years - and causes boys and husbands to miss out on part of the Mother's Day fun. But then we also schedule Summer Camp for Father's Day week every year too... so there you go. That nice family values centric organization is not quite so family friendly at times. Whatever. MY mother lives in another state, and my kids will honor THEIR mother, so it's all good.

Hey guys... I can't keep up with you all. :sad2:

I have a question....

If you had $100 to do something 'special' or different in Disney with your 20 and 17 year old sons while your wife and daughter went for the afternoon tea at the GF what would it be???
I'm trying to help someone out with a few ideas.
HOOOOTERS!!!! RT192!:thumbsup2
I might go to the Boardwalk and do ESPN :confused3
Take them to Restaurant Marrakesh Morocco and watch the Belly dancer! :thumbsup2
How about 9 holes of golf, or DisneyQuest? Why not spend it in their favorite park, and let then make the decisions?
Thank you all for responding! I will forward the list to my friend and I will let you all know how she makes out! :thumbsup2

at 17 & 20, they *should* be past the "my parents are stupid" phase, so you could have a real conversation w/ them. My suggestions would be 9 holes of golf or one of the mini golf courses. I also agree with ESPN or Disney Quest.
For $100 for 3 people, could you do any of the backstage tours? I don't know.
I would spend my $100 drinking around the world, but at 17 & 20, not an option...

Good Eye, Nate! But I went ahead and took care of just a little bit of "housekeeping" for Disney.

The Hidden Micky is there, and the house, er, MOUSE-keeping did make me laugh.

For the DW's birthday, she got a shade structure for the back yard. For Mother's Day, I'm going to put it together. :thumbsup2

That is definitely NOT in the plan Andy. But I am curious to see who might do it...
