Someone went through my Jeep last night. A colleague joked with my today that I must live in the projects because of that. I since found out the thieves wound up breaking into 3 cars, and they didn't find anything to steal in any of them. Hurray for possessing nothing of value :thumbsup2

I had someone steal a Mickey antenna topper once. I tries to get an APB out for it but no luck.

Thieves often leave money in my car...cause they feel sorry for me and my ride.

i have a reservation for the spirit of aloha show. do you guy think he'd enjoy seeing the scantly clad women? or should i change that to Ohana?

My dad used to have an old '79 Chevy truck. He kept it around because they wouldn't give him anything for a trade in so he'd use it from time to time. Anytime he took it into town, he always left the keys in and the windows down... sometimes even with the motor running, but it was always there when he came back out.:confused3

I have never seen the show. I have a short attention span and I have been told it is kind of long.

A few weeks ago someone stole the chrome (looking) Mickey Head off the back of my minivan! They had to pry hard, because the black sticky-stuff holding it on there is still on the minivan. :rotfl2:

Most reviews of the Spirit of Aloha show suggest that it's pretty disappointing. In fact, the Lowes Royal Pacific over at Universal has a Hawaiian Luau show with a much better reputation. My kids enjoyed Ohana (and the 8-year-old LOVED it). The entertainment experience at Ohana is kid-interactive, the food options are broad, and you can leave whenever you decide you're done, as opposed to having to wait for the show to end.

Big DCL news going to be announced tomorrow! Rumor has it that it will be Disney Magic sailing out of New York and Galveston next year! Woo Hoo! I'll be booking my family on one of the 7-night Galveston cruises, I'm sure!

Here is some info.

Ownage! Pay up!

Spirit of Aloha ends with a bang (the juggling fire), so kids usually leave happy, but it is slow & drags a bit. Worth seeing, but not more than once. Personally, we prefer Ohana's & try to get there every trip (family Must-Do!)

That would be very cool! Thanks for the heads up, John!

My son at that age loved 50s Prime Time Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Le Cellier, Ohana, and (of course) Pizza Planet (ugh!)

I'll second Whispering Canyon. It atmosphere is perfect for kids that age, both our kids really enjoyed it.

If you wanted a character meet I'd try Garden Grill or Chef Mickey's.

Somethings I haven't tried that might work are the Sci-Fi drive in theater in HS
and Teppan Edo in Epcot. (of course Teppanake places are all over the place so that's not a uniquely Disney experience)

Canabils-a-rama has a really good teriyaki 9yo old but I can never finish a whole one myself............wait that not what you meant was it?

I was going to post something like this, but you beat me to the punch.

Well-done!
