Gotta love a full day of fixing PC's infected with spyware!! Lovely!

How do these people get so much of it?!?

OK - I have DisDadDoc and Disney Commando booked for Podcast Episode 3, to be recorded on March 31. I could use two more volunteers. Opening roundtable will be about Magic Kingdom touring approaches. Anyone?

You know me Im always up for it.:woohoo::cool1:

Check out http://www.wunderground.com/tripplanner/index.asp?MR=1. You give it a location and a date range, it will spit out average high, low, etc and give you all of the daily weather data for as far back as the site has records (usually at least 10 years, depending on the location.) We've gone the first week of December three times now. Looking back at my pictures I've seen us in everything from swim trunks to bundled up in 2 sweatshirts, a jacket, a stocking cap and a blanket. So while it may say the average high for that time of year is 71 degrees, cold spells can and do happen.
See - now you come around trying to change my mind. I think we'll have to flip a coin on this one.

Unfortunately you aren't alone in that philosophy. :sad2: Hope you have good insurance for those left behind.
HA! You said "behind"! Seriously, I have 15 years until I'm "up" for that test. I'm just not looking forward to the prospect.

Speaking of online gaming. I use a pc gaming platform called Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/ which is free. I play Day of Defeat Source, which cost $9.95. Its a game like Call of Duty but set in WWII. Allies vs Axis of Evil!! Tons of customized maps and a ton a online people. Let me know if you get it or have it. My screen name is....wait for it.......prattpak1 (original I know) :rotfl:

Go outside, record the sound of you taking a shovel and whacking it on the ground. Then import the sound in place of the normal axis melee weapon (shovel attack) sound. Then play and enjoy. Nothing quite like running around whacking people with a shovel to the sound of "pang!" "pang!" "pang!" - ahh - good times.

Gambling and porn sites.

If your company is seeing lots of spyware infections, it's probably time to send around that Email about how you can and do monitor their web activity at work.

Wait I can't do that at work?

Dang it, my wife already told me I couldn't at home.

off to the library...i guess

Well, I guess it is my turn for bad news.

My F-I-L failed his stress test at his checkup - so he has to go in next Wednesday so they can do the dye test to see if he has any clots or blockages. Besides the possible bad implications that could pose, this also means we have no one to watch our kiddos for our couples-only trip we had planned.

So now it looks like we will be doing a family trip to The World this summer instead. DD has been asking every day when she can go back to Cinderella's Castle, so I guess it works out OK in that regard. But, *sniff*, there goes my QVR @ V&A reservation. *Sniff*. Now DW has to make sure we can change the dates on the flight without too big of a penalty.

Actually, I think I will get more enjoyment out of being at WDW with the kids, anyway.

(Maybe I should just start looking for a job in Florida!)

I have been toying with the idea of getting it. What age is appropriate to play?

It's dark, not 'scary' or violent. It's fairly tame, but not too easy for the little ones to pick up, my 6 year old gets stuck in the first level, the 3 year old just watches....

For those of you not going to a Disney destination this summer (me)... what are your plans or family trip(s) if any?

My younger son and I will head to Summer Camp in June and my eldest will be working at Summer Camp this summer, so we won't really do anything as a family during the summer months, but we will fill our time with some weekend type stuff, as well as visiting with family and friends in the area (and any DDC Dads that happen to pass through - yes Mark, I mean you!). Plus both boys will have a second week of a church camp to go to... so yeah, we won't be traveling during the summer.

We are also doing Boy Scout Summer Camp. The first week of July about 70 miles west of Dallas/Fort Worth area, gonna be nice and hot with a good chance of mosquitoes. I'm sure its going to be fun so it will be worth the heat, plus the boys get a lot out of it.

We are fortunate enough to be doing a Disney vacation this summer as well, we are doing a 5 night on the Dream in the middle of June. It includes a double dip at Castaway Cay!

Aside from a long weekend we will probably do near the end of summer, thats pretty much it this summer.

Anyone play the Epic Mickey game on the Wii yet?

Got it for Christmas and played it for a while, but then work got busy again and I haven't played in a couple of months. I'm stuck in Tomorrowland.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick it back up and play. It's pretty fun, although can be a little trivial at times and I tend to overthink trivial things. :rotfl:

So bad want to go back to the World, but my wife and I decided to do the cruise in July and we can't afford both.

As for the family trip(s), we're planning a little weekend getaway with the boys to Dallas to do Medieval Times, the Zoo, Six Flags, etc. We may also do a weekend thing at the Kisatchie National Forest, which is located only about a couple of hours from us, so it'll be a cheap trip.

Feel really bad about going on a cruise without our two boys, so we'll try to make up for it with a couple of smaller trips with them.

My 6 year old loves it - I don't even know what level he's on, but he's out of the dark castle, into Wasteland.

My 8 year old watches... :) She's not as much of a gamer.

We’re sailing on the June 26, 5-Night double-dip aboard the Dream. That wouldn’t just happen to be the same cruise of which you speak now would it?

I've played it. My oldest (11) has played in through 3 times and has almost finished getting all the pins. It's a blast, especially once you get out of the first few levels. The game layout is the same as WDW, which the kids love. plus the mythology is cute

Two weeks of scout camp myself this summer :scared1::scared1:

One with DS 1 (boy scout) & one with DS 2 (cub). Plus, thinking of doing two weekends of Wood Badge training at stopher's recommendation. :thumbsup2
