Stopher,

I suggest adding to your movie list Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grill. The boys would love it, my DD did. "But I'm not dead yet."

A great choice. It is the only movie that gets funnier the more you watch it!

Had a full, busy day yesterday.

Introduced the boys Friday night to that classic from the '80s... GHOSTBUSTERS. Bill Murray is such a kick. Next up on the films from my youth line up... STAND BY ME. I love that flick. Then it will be more from Bill Murray... GROUNDHOG DAY. Friday nights have slowly become movie night after my DD goes to bed, sharing some classic, funny & stupid stuff from days gone by. So far we've shared: FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, TIME BANDITS, AIRPLANE!, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, WHAT ABOUT BOB?, THE KARATE KID, and CADDYSHACK. They've seen others that I can't recall, but not in the same way - just dad and the guys most times, sometimes my DW has joined us too, but she doesn't have the same sense of humor, so she's skipped most of these, except for FBDO, WAB and TKK. More to come sure enough...

All great movie choices. No Goonies or Neverending Story?

Always wanted to do the Kitchen Sink but the only time we were there with enough people no one wanted to do it. Do it and take lots of pictures.

Enjoy the trip.

I third the Holy Grail. That and Princess Bride were high school staples.

To clarify, you are talking about the Kitchen Sink from Beaches and Cream correct?
I was trying to figure out if Garden Grocer delivered sinks now too.

It sure looks good... reminds me of many a cool sundae from my childhood at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlors - the Trough specifically. Lots of scoops... looks yummy. We'll see.

Ooooh, I remember Farrell's around here, too. Went to a birthday party back in 1975 (that's me in the front left sportin' the vest). I still remember the styrofoam hats like the kid a few down from me is putting on. Good times! :thumbsup2

Oh yeah... we did that one over a year ago. They LOVE it! I do too of course, which is why I shared it with them... my DW on the other hand can't figure it out.

I saw SPAMALOT, loosely based on the film, in NYC 3times... hysterical!

So dads. How do you break the surprise to your kids that your going to Disney? We've managed to keep the park visit a secret for months, but now the big day is here and we're not sure how to let our kids know. Should we just pull up to Epcot tommorrow and let them figure it out? Right now they just think we are in Orlando to go to downtown Disney for a couple of days before our cruise.

Thanks... saw those last year too. Back then it was more sporadic... now it's becoming close to weekly. A bunch of activities keep it from weekly, but we're trying to be consistent.

Princess Bride... classic.

My DW and have a friend have been quoting that film on FB for the past several days. My youngest son has been helping fuel fer fire. SOOOO funny.

Is Farrell's still around?

Most of them had closed, but in the past 3 years they've had a resurgence, and are actually thriving again, from what friends tell me, having reopened several parlors in the communities they once served. It was a birthday party staple of my youth.

I say GO FOR IT! It's something you will always talk about. And you may even finish it.

Oh yeah - that's what DW and I were talking about as well.

Always wanted to do the Kitchen Sink but the only time we were there with enough people no one wanted to do it. Do it and take lots of pictures.

Enjoy the trip.

Oh yeah, if we do it, we'll definitely take pictures. It's probably not something we'll go back and do time and time again.

A lot of cool egg pics over on the FB page. I have nothing to add there, so I'm just having some fun here.

Are you eggless, egg-phobic or balancially challenged? I'm currently in the eggless group. Technically being eggless is a disdads prerequisite though.
