That was our last experience with that doc.I would have been so mad I couldnt see straight. I would also have found another doctor after that day and the test was completed.

Yep, preps are not fun for patients, but sometimes necessary for us to see what we need to see during the study/scope/procedure.
The good news is...some of the newer preps are gentler and don't require you to drink as much.
My word I think we need to open up a window in here and get the air moving around a little bit.
I had the opportunity to use one of these newer treatments of which you speak. Only two 8oz glasses of water with the preparation mixed in. It was defiantly much less to consume at one time, but as for gentler It kinda missed that particular mark. I dont remember the name of the specific product. We just refer to it as the crap bomb. Bad news is its just about time to have that test done again (and I aint looking forward to it).
I need to request the crap bomb next time...much less to drink![]()

Welcome to the DIS Dad's Club (DDC) thread!
"Home of Man Laws and Cheese Balls"
The home of what........![]()
MAN LAWS
Cheese Balls is a reference to road trip food - and an incident that I believe was recounted in the previous DDC thread, involving Cheese Balls and a car sick child.![]()
Only in the DIS Dads Club can a topic like bowel cleansing go on for multiple pages.![]()
That is one of the great things about this place...no topic is taboo![]()
Some potential future topics:
Erectile Dysfunction
Vasectomies
Prostate Exams
Comb-overs & Hair Plugs
Or if these don't generate enough controversy, we could discuss which is better: DL or WDW?
After DD was born, she didn't poop for 5 days. They had me take her in for a barium enema. I think they dislodged something with their probe, because the barium and 5 days worth of poop came out, all over their table. I swear, that is a smell I will never forget. No matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to forget that smell...I would have died if they had told me such a thing!! That would be enough to make someone jump off the bridge to go through that and then show up on te wrong day! We had people do that when I worked in diagnostic radiolgoy. They would show up for a barium enema on the wrong day...no matter what day they showed we would work them in just so they would not have to go through the prep again!
I'm waffling between wanting to know what these tricks are and really, really not wanting to know.
I have escourted many people to the bathrooms after a barium enema and then had to clean up the mess that they would leave after Bless their hearts! I finally developed a few "tricks" to keep the mess inside them until we got to the bathroom!
Oh, snap! Do you have a nemesis, yet? I think you need one!
By the power vested in me by myself, I now pronounce you Nemesis and Nemesis. You may now hate each other until the end of time.Nope no nemesis has been assigned to me yet LOL![]()

We leave Port Orleans on the 23rd to head over to the dream. Just barely missing a meetup opportunityCool. How long will y'all be there? We arrive on Sat 3/26.
The Disney Races are great first long distance races. The WDW half was my second race ever. The WISH group on disboards is really supportive. Signing up for a race is a great way to get motivated to start training again.I would love to but have to get back into running shape. I haven't trained for a distance race since before the twins.
The trek sounds fun. Maybe we can get a group together in 2013?Not next year, but hopefully 2013. I'm currently focusing on getting in to shape for a trek to the Philmont ranch with the Scouts in summer next year (in New Mexico)... but want to do a marathon after that.
Here's a good idea of what Steve experienced, if you really want to know:

Well, thought I'd post from Lake Okeechobee...fishing has been fantastic...nothing giant, but a bunch of fish 3-4 pounds with an odd 8 pounder thrown in!!
Glad you guys have enjoyed my non Disney trip report...![]()
On a side note, one of the guys down here left his wife and kids at Old Key West for a couple of days to come down and fish (he was with them first couple of days, and is rejoining them tomorrow)...they're from Pennsylvania, not sure I could make that same decision..![]()

Wow. Georgetown is getting a beatdown from VCU. Still 12+ minutes to go, but they're down 17. Someone's going to be unhappy about that one.
