Oh yeah...running out of propane. No fun!

One day I want an outdoor kitchen too. I'm trying to get our outdoor spaces as user friendly as possible. I'd like to go away from a temporary cover too, to a permanent roof system but the bank account won't allow that anytime soon. At the very least a pergola, but the deck comes first.

I hear ya. The darn bank account is always getting in the way of me getting stuff I want.

Welllll......... we will arrive at OKW around 9 or 10ish pm on the 4th. I guess it depends on what your day is like on the 5th.

I'll check with 'the boss' and see if we might be able to arrange something.

Stopher- If you decide to visit St Augustine, They have the originial Ripley's Belive It Or Not. alot of great little shops, cool history stuff, ghost tours, and you would have to eat at Harry's:cool1: They got some good eatin' there:woohoo:

Cypress Springs is now the future site of Lego Land that will open in the fall.

If you stop in a Hotel Lobby (not Disney) or a Tourist stop, you will probably find pamplets of stuff to do, that people who live there don't know about:lmao:

If the season is right, you can pick your own oranges at Showcase of Citrus. Take a ride up the elevator at Citrus Tower to get a good view of all of the groves.

That sounds really cool! I am bookmarking that for our next trip down.

Oh, and look at that random ownage

In an attempt to break all the excessive page ownage competitiveness, I give you something of meaning, something worth sinking your teeth into...

Really, does anything else need to be said? :woohoo:

Even though they're older, my boys are interested in Legoland. The eldest has been to the LL in California, and really liked it. He wants to go again. Having one in Florida was an exciting prospect to him back when it was first announced. He's talked about it a few times since as well.

Now that's true. I had thought about that... but figured I'd put it out here first since we'd like to have an idea going in to it. We're going to rent a car on the back end of the trip - so incorporating something in later is the plan... but what? Who knows. We just want to have ideas... the actual decision probably won't come until that week... if we do anything. We know we're going to enjoy stuff in and around the World through the week, and my skeptical sons might just find (as DW and I understand) that there are enough things to do there without venturing off-property. But as you fellow planners know - it's best to be armed with information well in advance.

If so - that's cool.

If not - that's cool.

For us - Tuesday's going to be pretty light. I KNOW that the family will want to sleep in, especially the DW and the eldest boy. The middle son not so much. The DD - it's always a toss up on the day after a flight. ME? I'm up early pretty much throughout the week. The afternoon will probably include some mini-golf, or some pool hopping, or it might be DTD, or it might be a movie, or it might be gaming at the Community Hall at the resort... who knows. We only have 3 set agenda items... breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe for my DD's birthday, breakfast at Boma on Friday and ... no I take that back, we only have 2 set agenda items. The rest is fly by the seat of our pants and see whatever the decisions are that morning. We do have a reservation for a fishing excursion on Wednesday afternoon, but even that might change. Who knows.

CRUD.

I was in NYC again yesterday/today and came back to 16 pages. :scared1:

Also we spring break next week and we are 3 days away from a trip the the Caribbean. (Turks & Caicos)

This is a trip we have been planning for 18 months or so with DW's family. There will be 10 of us in all (our 5, FIL & MIL, SIL & Niece & Nephew (10))

Here is my PTR:

beach.
pool.
food.
drink.
repeat for 7 days.

I think I've got it covered. :rotfl2:

I know its not Disney, but I'm looking forward to it.

I hope everyone is doing well, congrats on any achievements, prayers to those in need, and Beverly for Mark. (after all he is my nemesis.)

Wow I'm a hour away:rolleyes1 The next time you go to NYC, and it's between Easter & Labor Day, Let me know, if you head South down the GSP 55miles you would be in my neck of the woods, could show you the Boardwalks, even laugh at The Jersey Shore House:lmao:

That would be great one of these trips, but usually I'm in and booked in Manhattan until I leave... like yesterday:

Arrived @ 1PM at LGA
Meeting in Midtown @ 2:00 (arrived @ 1:50... awesome!!!)
Dinner @ 6:30
Sleep
Meeting @ 10:00
Flight @ 2:00

This is my typical NYC trip. Sometimes its 3 days, sometimes its same day.

Thanks, we're looking forward to it. Just for the kick back and relax feel of the place.

I work in NYC (Downtown) and commute in every day. Some weeks, I would give anything to get on a flight to anywhere but NYC. This was one of those weeks:

I had to deal with "issues" among the 4 women who work on my team - 2 Legal Secretaries, 1 Paralegal and 1 Paralegal/Intern. My boss would not deal with them at all so he left it for me. At separate times, over a 3 day period, all 4 of them were in my office crying hysterically over what someone said to her and hurt her feelings. I felt like Dr. Phil refereeing an episode of The View.

It was finally resolved yesterday with an uneasy truce and one of them not talking to the other 3 at all until they "grow up". Mind you, these women are ages 50, 44, 35 and 26. I am 41 and I aged about 10 years in the last week. My 60 year old boss simply said that he was getting too old for this s---.

So next time you are in NY, stop by 80 Pine Street, not to say hi, but to put me out of my misery.

1. “(Lisa) “I’m going to become a vegetarian” (Homer) “Does that mean you’re not going to eat any pork?” “Yes” “Bacon?” “Yes Dad” Ham?” “Dad all those meats come from the same animal” “Right Lisa, some wonderful, magical animal!”"

2. “Porkchops and bacon, my two favorite animals.”

3. “When you’re in my house you shall do as I do and believe who I believe in. So Bart butter your bacon.”

4. “Is it Bacon Day?”

5. “Mmmm. Move over, eggs. Bacon just got a new best friend – fudge.”

6. “Not again! First you took away my Philly Fudgesteak. And then my Bacon Balls. Then my Whatchamachicken. You monster!”

7. Homer: I’ll have the smiley face breakfast special. Uhh, but could you add a bacon nose? Plus bacon hair, bacon mustache, five o’clock shadow made of bacon bits and a bacon body.
Waitress: How about I just shove a pig down your throat?
(Homer looks excited)
Waitress: I was kidding.
Homer: Fine, but the bacon man lives in a bacon house!
Waitress: No he doesn’t!

8. “[strained] You know that feeling you get when a thousand knives of fire are stabbing you in the heart? I’m having that right now…[normal] Ooh, bacon!”

9. “Mmm … bacon”

10. “Mmm … unexplained bacon

Next I'll have to do that. Not to mention, I always thought it was just wrong to be working in the financial business and having never been to NYC's financial district... not that I'm complaining about Midtown.

Closest I've gotten to your neck of the woods was McSorley's.
