Since there was great turnout for the mens bracket, would anyone be interested in doing the womens bracket as well. I will be happy to set it up in Yahoo if we have a enough interest...
I don't know enough about women's basketball to make any informed picks other than UConn, Baylor or Stanford to win it all... so sure!

So do you get the sweats going through the fish farm section of the boatride in the Land???

You know...funny you should say that....Yeah, I kinda' do....Whenever we go through there, I always look at my wife with a goofy grin, and she subsequently rolls her eyes....:lmao:

I also like to stand on the bridge between World Showcase and Innoventions and look at the bass casually finning, unmolested (), in the water (look for a submarine looking fish with a black tail).....This usually results in stern looks, and under her breath threats from DW:lmao::lmao:

I get the absolute SHAKES walking around World Showcase because I KNOW the quality of fish are in the lagoon (and the canal leading away from it) because I've CAUGHT them.....

Beer helps though...pirate:

So I kinda use my NAS as like a home sharing device between all my PC's and Mac computers. A centralized location for all files. And it's setup for a RAID 1 config so I have redundancy.

That is what I do. I have a Synology DiskStation DS210j. I currently only have one 2TB drive in it, but I am about to order a second one for RAID 1. I like how you can add a drive to it and have it convert on-the-fly to Raid 1... nice!

Oh wow, do the bass even know who they're taunting??? I'm ready to see the reports on the news of some guy arrested in the middle of the night sneaking into EPCOT with a fishing pole.... then again, you probably wouldn't get caught.:lmao::lmao:

I'll be checking out the water looking for your bass next time I'm there.

I have the D-Link DNS-321 with two 1TB drives in RAID 1. Works out pretty good and writes pretty fast over the network.

I like Mimac because it keeps that file structure and my PC can see my MAC files and vice versa.

Well, I run four different kinds of backups.
[GeekMode]
1. I use CrashPlan to backup all of my machines to the Drobo that's connected to my desktop (which happens to be one of the last remaining Windows machines in the house). The Drobo currently has a 3.4 TB capacity (which can be upgraded to about 7.5 TB when the prices on 2 TB drives comes down).

2. The Drobo also houses the "master files" for all of my Media (some is also copied to a laptop and/or iDevice), including videos, music, and photos. After some experimenting, I've found that it works best to have the EyeFi card copy all photos directly to the Drobo, and then just pull subsets into iPhoto for editing and uploading. (In order to allow all my machines to see the data on the Drobo, my Macs all have MacFUSE installed, along with the NTFS-3g files system, so they actually have what amounts to "native" NTFS support).

3. Documents - every important document is saved to Dropbox, which is accessible from every machine.

4. I make periodic SuperDuper backups, precisely BECAUSE they're bootable. Under critical circumstances, it's even possible to run a machine off of a SuperDuper backup while waiting for a new hard drive to be delivered. The SuperDuper drive is to make sure that I can be back up and running in the minimum time possible.[/GeekMode]

OH no, I'd get caught....trust me...an Ninja doesn't get into WDW property without them knowing about it;)

But it just ticks me off that those cocky little rascals just swim along without a care in the world and give me the middle fin:lmao::lmao:

*ahem* I think this should spawn a new ManLaw: Do not post more than 2 back-to-back posts trying to get page ownage.

I can see letting 2 slip by... but 3 in a row? Now that is cheap. :rotfl2::lmao:

Well.... it WAS a slow day :rolleyes1 :rotfl2::rotfl2:

All of these Navy pictures reminds me of my FIL who is a naval veteran. He always tells me that "The Marine Corps (I am a Marine veteran) is a department of the Navy".:scared1: I have to remind him at that point that the Marine Corps is the "MEN'S" department.

:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Now if this was the photo caption contest, I would label it, Yeah that's right the chicks dig me (as you make Perry the Platypus sounds to women walking by:lmao:)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao: "You can't resist my Goose-inator!"

I started my son's new room, it's going to be all Dino's, with a 6ft x 4ft wallpaper Dino mural:banana:

I was hanging sheetrock all day and my son is quite excited about the room, he was the little helper, wearing his hard hat, tool belt, and all his fake tools:lmao: He wanted to help, so I gave him the job of handing me screws:woohoo:

Well of course the job took longer to do, since he was into everything:scared1:, but I didn't chase him away, I don't want to discourage him in any way, since I learned from my Dad, and if no one shows you how to do it, you learn the hard way or not at all:confused3

After hearing all the horror stories from my friends about some of thier kids (teenagers & young adults) that don't know how to do anything and don't care to learn:scared1: I got to break him in young while there is hope:confused3

It was really cute watching my son help though:goodvibes

I agree... I let DD help me out any time she is interested. And I always give her the option to help when I start something... well... except when working on electrical. Wouldn't want to teach her the wrong way.... :lmao: JK!

I can guess at the Women's game just as easily as I can guess the Men's.

I like Mimac because it keeps that file structure and my PC can see my MAC files and vice versa.
Do you have a URL for Mimac? I tried Googling it but couldn't find anything.
I use rsync on my Mac to backup my media files to my PC, which is running DeltaCopy software so it can be an rsync target. I have a few small shell scripts set up to make backups both on my home and work machines.

Just had a little conversation with a coworker while milling around waiting for the microwave in the break room. Idle chit-chat about kids activites and what not. She mentioned they were going to Florida for Spring Break (Easter Week), and staying in Orlando. She said they haven't decided if they're doing Disney or Universal. :scared1::scared1:
Holy Peanut Butter, Lady! You're only 7 weeks out from one of the busiest times of the year and you don't even know where you're going yet? Luckily, her kids are 13 and 15 and should be able to deal with the large crowds, no plans and the inevitable disappointment... :sad2:

I'd be in though loyalty demands I select the Lady Vols overall.

Well, I just checked in here and found conversations going about bass fishing, women's basketball, and some sort of gobbledlygook involving Micmacs and RAID, but apparently not the bug spray. There's got to be some topic I can contribute to here somewhere...

I'm sure all of us obsessive vacation planners will agree...this is the equivalent of nails on chalkboard. She's doomed, I tell you! Doomed!

Drobo is sweet! A little too rich for my blood, though. I have a pretty low operating budget for my home IT 'department'. :rotfl2:

I do make use of Dropbox, though. That is a great investment. (Free) :rotfl:

You should steer her towards Universal. Tell her you would recommend Disney if she started planning 6 months ahead of time. :)

I bought the Drobo in reaction to a major system failure (the disk controller in a JBOD enclosure failed), leaving me rooting around from Linux boot disks to get the drives to mount, and using pro-level data recovery tools to rescue data. In the face of that, the budget was just about unlimited. (On top of the data and the hardware, I was NEVER going to get back the three nights' worth of sleep I lost to the recovery effort).

I hear you. I guess I am just lucky I haven't had to deal with a situation like that. That would be extremely frustrating. My condolences. :thumbsup2

Sorry - I had mispelled it ;) It's actually called Mimmac. Here is a LINK

Not free - but cheap! :thumbsup2
