I put in Squeaker's NCAA Tournament Bracket. As you'll see, he insisted on picking the team that came first in the alphabet to win each game.

Your just upset because you know that he will end up beating you. :lmao::rotfl2:

I let my daughter pick as well. I cheated a little; I advanced the 1s,2s,3s,and 4s to sweet sixteen then let her pick everything else. She still has Texas beating Wisconsin for the championship! :confused3:lmao:

:lmao: yah there you go, leisure.:lmao: you can be my spell check, youll have to quit your job.:lmao: i see a kid from easton is a state wrestling champ.:thumbsup2 the kid from nazareth finally made it, kid was runner up the last three years.:thumbsup2

There is also a kid from Tamaqua, next town over that won a State Title. He was in the tourney all four years of HS in four differnet weight classes, and hadn't won until this year.

Congratulations Dave on your 4000th postparty: Look forward to reading many more:cool1:

Congrats Dave! Maybe we can figure out when to incrase our DisDads meet someday soon! My kids might be playing in a 3v3 soccer tournament in your area this summer.

My DD will be making her picks tonight. She is already asking how good Penn State really is. The tattoo on my calf tends to lead her to think they are the best at everything. Silly, silly DD...

Hey, as far as matchups go, that might not be the biggest stretch imaginable. Definitely not saying they will, but if certain matchups present themselves in the later rounds, I can see Wisconsin making it out of the SE, and if Texas brings their A game, they could definitely make it out of the West.

That might even be better than my final game with Clemson and Wofford.

Stopped on the way home and picked up an i7 MacBook Pro. :cool1:

Running a SuperDuper Backup of the MacBook now. Cross your fingers that it completes without incident. Next step will be to restore that backup to the new MacBook Pro.

Sure - you had to go and do one better (i7 sheesh!).

SuperDuper Backup? Never heard of that one...let me know how it works out. I've been using Mimac for my backup software because it allows me to write files to a NAS drive and keeps the file structure to be accessed by my PC.

Hope you love your new Mac!

Doc...did you do the snorkeling or Scuba?

I thought I read somewhere where you could dive in one of the tanks as well, might have to splurge on that one...:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

One long day at work before heading to Clewiston, FL for some bass fishing...:surfweb:

If they know your reputation, I highly doubt they'd even consider letting you in the tanks.:rotfl2:

The one that we did (The Living Seas Aqua Tour) uses SNUBA (not quite snorkeling and not quite Scuba). It's in the big tank at Living Seas. You breathe through a regulator (like Scuba) with an oxygen tank but you can't go below the surface of the water. They also offer a Scuba Tour that lets you go all the way to the bottom of the tank, but my son was only 8 and so not Scuba certified yet (you need to be 10). He just turned 10, and we're taking Scuba classes this spring so that next time we go, he can do it. My daughter and I are doing it together in a few weeks. I tried to get her to do it with my DW so she'd get the experience too, but my DD really wants to do it with me.

It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it!

Gotta get back to work. :sad2: Really starting to interfere with my web-surfing time... :surfweb:

So, we are home from our trip. :sad1::sad1:

I will do a TR for this which I wasn't going to do but there is NO WAY I cannot do one. It should go much faster than my 'usual' reports since we had quite a few family days and only 3 park days.

BTW, did I miss anything important here? :confused3 :lmao::lmao:

If you don't know SuperDuper, you should. It's a great application - and it's donationware. It's an incredible simple interface. Plug in an external drive, launch SuperDuper, choose a source drive and a destination drive, and let it go. When it's done, you have a bootable external full backup. It's very similar to Carbon Copy Cloner, which does essentially the same thing but is a commercial product.

I think that our tour guide had a thing for the dolphin trainer and wanted to stop by to see her.

Chris - I don't know if they did it during your tour but when we were stopped on the catwalk over the dolphin tank the dolphins in the tank come to the surface and listen to the guide talk about the tank.

Fed - The dive program is really cool. After a few group things at the bottom of the tank you just pair up with another diver and are free to explore the tank for about 30 minutes. The best part is they tell you family what window to go stand by so you get to go to the window and interact with them (and the people in the Coral Reef Restaurant.

There is a dive program at the Georgia Aquarium as well that I am going to try to do sometime this year. You swim with the whale shark!

Now that I think about it - I may have tried that one before. But I back mine up to a NAS drive and wanted to preserve the file structure so I could get at the pictures/video/documents on my PC.

Most of those backup programs make a bootable backup that is encrypted to the program and you can't get at the specific files from another device.

So I kinda use my NAS as like a home sharing device between all my PC's and Mac computers. A centralized location for all files. And it's setup for a RAID 1 config so I have redundancy.

FIRST off...I'll already be wet:lmao::lmao:

Secondly....I'm more of a freshwater fisherman:rotfl2:

I've done the Georgia Aquarium dive...you won't be disappointed:thumbsup2

Ooo! That sounds awesome. I'll be in Atlanta next October (2012). I'll definitely look into that. Do you have to be Scuba certified? Maybe I'll bring DS.

Well - I finally received my Disney VISA offer in the mail - $200 gift card for signing up!!! :thumbsup2

I've been waiting for an offer to come for months! And to think I almost pulled the trigger on the $50 offer.

Anyone else have one of these?

Is it 1 disney reward dollar per dollar charged?

Since there was great turnout for the mens bracket, would anyone be interested in doing the womens bracket as well. I will be happy to set it up in Yahoo if we have a enough interest...
