Guess since I'm the one that created the color one that I should be the one to post it... lol. Here it is:

Thank you so much!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: if you have not noticed it is liked by many! :worship: the original is awesome but you gave it a stand out twist!!

:rotfl2:

It could also mean I've had a heart attack and died, and gone on to the great theme park in the sky. Take your pick.

I can see the DisDad memorial now, since WDW is still a dry park we'll all gather around the treehouse and dump out a Dole Whip to honor our homie.

I need to catch a break... Whoever I start for the A group seems to be getting marked for disaster. I always pick a fast car that can't seem to finish. As much as I hate Kyle Busch, it pains me to even start him and have to pull for him a little bit... and then he goes out there and blows up:headache:

It could be worse than blown engines, when DW started watching she picked Alan Kulwicki as her driver. A month after he passed she decided she would root for Davey Allison, the after he died she decided to be a fan of Dale. I'm really surprised he lasted as long as he did:eek:.

The Einsteins were big in our house for quite a while. Then Phineas & Ferb came along and all was happy in my living room.
Unfortunately, Jake and the Neverland Pirates are big now, which in my opinion is a major step backwards. It's a cute enough show, but I was hoping my kids had outgrown the "count the gold coins with me" type of shows.

:rolleyes1I had the Hot Hot Lava song stuck in my head all weekend.
It's almost worse than the Chuggington theme!

Barry, not sure if you saw my comment last night, but DW finally cracked the shell. We are planning on getting a dog this summer after our road trip. We're looking into goldendoodles since they are typically better with allergies, and DWs shots are finally starting to become effective.
:dog::dog2::dogdance::dog2::dog:
Get your pooper scooper ready!

Whooooaaa, slow down there a bit Randy. I like Stopher as much as the next guy. Heck, I've met him in person a few times and he's twice as cool as he comes across on the boards. But I dump out Dole Whip for no man.

Since I completed my Dis Dad Manlaw duty of finishing my TR:lmao: I started my PTR for our next trip:cool1: It is titled --- Heard WDW Missed Us, Well We Will Be Back In August. All are Welcome:grouphug:

Well, as commissioner of the DIS Dad's Fantasy Racing League, I should probably post an update here once in a while. I guess I've been slacking a bit. After 3 races, Mater's Racers has pulled ahead of the field in very convincing fashion by jumping 73 points ahead of second place Pride Rock Motorsports. By comparison, only 80 points separate Pride Rock Motorsports from last place Rolling Thunder Racing. With the lowest week's score being dropped, it is going to take more than 1 bad race for Mater's Racers to come back to the pack... either that or everybody else needs to start picking a few winners.

In the weekly performance the top scores were as follows:
Week 1: Daytona 500, Maters Racers, 298 points
  • Jeff Gordon
  • Clint Bowyer
  • Juan Pablo Montoya
  • Bobby Labonte
Week 2: Subway Fresh Fit 500, Mater's Racers, 281 points
  • Jeff Gordon
  • Clint Bowyer
  • Kasey Kahne
  • Bobby Labonte
Week 3: Kobalt Tools 400, birdslightyear, 287 points
  • Carl Edwards
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Kasey Kahne
  • Bobby Labonte

After 3 weeks, it is blatantly obvious that if you want the highest weekly score, you need to have Bobby Labonte in your lineup. :rotfl2:

Next week is an offweek for the Sprint Cup Series before the demolition derby known as Bristol takes place. For anyone who isn't in the league, but is interested in joining, PM your e-mail to me and I'll send you an invite, or you can look for us in Yahoo Fantasy Auto Racing. The group number is 17278 and the password is goofy. The season is broken into Spring, Summer and Chase, so there is still time to join and have a chance to win one of the last 2 segments of the season.

I thought I should give props to FreezinRafiki here since I took his advice. If you're going to join a new Fantasy League he recommended winning it.

All I can say is as a former fan (only because I don't have the time to watch much any more) of Open Wheel Racing I love having one of "our guys" on my team in Montoya. He's given me the edge in 2/3 weeks.

If you are going to disney world in June around these dates June 3rd to June 11th I would like to have a disdads meet!! Maybe meet in epcot where the beverages are yummy! IM me I think it would be Fun:thumbsup2

:grouphug: Ahh gee whiz, Barry - thanks.

But I dump out Dole Whip for no man.

Besides - a really proper send off would actually be for everyone to have an Itsakadoozie, while riding the Haunted Mansion, and reciting the dialogue from start to finish

On the Commando Club thread, there is a member that is doing a trip in April that is every Commando's dream, well anyone's dream come true:confused3

They are doing 11 parks in 4 Countries, in 13 days:cool1:

They have been to a few WD parks overseas before, I can't wait to hear the details from this trip:yay: It will probably be amazing:goodvibes

Ok - I must ask. I have seen this referenced in your signature many times, and have looked to see what it was all about several times - but I have yet to find it. Where is this Commando Thread of which you speak? I'm just curious.

That trip you mentioned sounds incredible - though it is, IMO, entirely too few days. Something like that should be more like 20 or 21 days. But perhaps that's just me. The length does seem to fit the commando style though, of course...

I can confirm this, the roads in Del are paved in gold, compared to here. NJ should hire the guys from Del. :cool1: They could probably give you a huge pay raise and still save money:confused3

I spent 3 years in upstate NY when I was in the Air Force. I remember there being two seasons up there: winter and road construction. :rotfl2:

I am NOT making any promises whatsoever - but in looking at my calendar earlier today while scheduling various customer visits / site tours / etc... that particular time frame happened to be penciled in for a Florida visit. Now of course, the rule is, if I'm within 200 miles of a Disney park - I'm there... but - it's still a bit early to tell if it will pan out. So I'm not even remotely commiting to anything as a lot can happen between now and then - but it is entirely possible that I would be in the vicinity (and of course making time to visit the Mouse). If so - then I would love meet you.

Stopher, a late congrats on your 5-digit barrier-breaking post. Great stuff!

WDW Commando Club if it doesn't show up search my name.

I totally agree it should be a longer trip:confused3

Ok, I found it. Fascinating, and very cool. I admit, that isn't my touring style at all anymore - but - I don't begrudge anyone that wants to enjoy the parks that way. There truly is something for everyone in those magical little parks. 143 names on your list so far - several of which I recognize from this thread - and still others I've run across in other threads. Very cool Ron :thumbsup2

To be honest with you Stopher, I wish you would have found it sooner, I will admit this is my touring style and I get alot of extras done and find other things that might not be well known, but some of the things some ask I have no clue:confused3. There are alot of great folks on there, and I love giving some help to those who might not know something:goodvibes Like the DDC no one puts anyone down and only encourages ones plans:goodvibes

well, i got a call from my cpa this morning. it seems my employer has not with held the proper amount of fed income tax. i owe the irs $3100.:scared1: for years, we got back about 2k every year. last year we got back 1k. this year i owe $3100. dw and i have change our status to m0. had our book keeper call the paycheck people and get it straighten out. so, i was just wandering should i wait till april 18th to pay my tax,s or should i send it in now
???? :confused3
Okay, I've been told by "a person in the know" to wait till the end if you owe $$ to the IRS.

I am not qualified to answer the question, but I will suggest paying it with a Disney Visa and then paying off the Visa before paying a finance charge. When my wife went from being an employee to being an independent contractor, we ended up owing a good bit. Those Disney Reward Dollars paid for some meals on a WDW trip.

We covered all our tips on our Christmas vacation (DxDDP) with our Visa reward dollars. :woohoo:We just use it for gas & groceries, but when you're feeding a family of 6, you spend a LOT on gas & groceries.

Congrats to Stopher on the 10,000 posts. :thumbsup2

@ AJritz. I can't yet post to disdads.com, but a podcast idea are Disney World moments you haven't experienced, but would like to. I have 2. First, I've never ridden Mickey's Phil-har-magic (is it a ride or show?), And, second one: On the DVC video, they always show the couple on a balcony watching girraffes (sp?) and having early morning coffee. I would love to hear from someone that's done that, so they can tell me it IS as great as I'm hoping. So... just as a suggestion on topic.

Pinewood Derby is Saturday. And, we haven't yet started on our car. :scared1:
