Thanks for the heads up, Buddy! Thats a good episode, too!

But, I'm going to stick with tonight's Clone Wars episode & then we have 2 more Justified to watch to catch up.

I don't make the news...just report it..:lmao::lmao:

You have outstanding options available, I must say..:thumbsup2

OK - for those of you who actually read through those 50+ pages of mostly drivel that we used to close out #6... you will know that I was struggling with whether or not we would actually go on our trip to FL in early April. Well - as of today - unless something changes that causes a trip west (i.e. grandmother, FIL) - we are indeed going. :thumbsup2 I feel a bit better about it all, and am once again starting to look forward to it. So yay - I'll even give one of these... :cool1:

And wow - ANOTHER update to my TR... wow. Now I need to go out and update my other TR - and take a look at a few of the others that I've kind of put aside reading.

Had one of those weird days. I stayed home with sick child and had time to think. A friend from high school, who I had not seen in 20 years but found on FB, died yesterday of cancer. He was 38. I try to live in the moment & save for retirement, but this just gave me pause. Am I doing enough for them? Am I here enough? Just too much time to think.
My condolences to you. It is rough when peers start getting those chronic diseases.

When given the choice between time and money pick time. There is never enough of either, but you can always try to earn more $. You will never get more time. I quite trying to run the rat race a long time ago and disappointed a lot of people but at least I'm not a rat anymore.

Those are some tough questions. How much is "enough"? Enough time with your family? Enough money? Enough memories made?

My condolences on the loss of your friend.

Boy Don, you really know how to keep this thread moving!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

ATTENTION!!!!

While we were on Juliana's WISH trip in December, my DW Melody wasn't feeling herself. After a trip to Walmart and a test, we found out that Melody is pregnant! Her due date is August 13 which was the day of Juliana's last chemo treatment.

AND we are having a boy!!!!!

Melody has been doing and feeling well. She came down with a stomach bug Thursday and we are hoping that Juliana & I don't catch it because......

We are leaving on Sunday (3/6) to fly to Florida for some family time with Melody's grandfather and then we are going to DISNEY for a few days too! And we will be in the MK on March 11th for Juliana's 5th Birthday!

I thought about doing a PTR but my TR has taken up most of my time. I will post updates to FB and if you want to be friends let me know. I know a lot of you understand why I didn't mention the baby stuff earlier... thanks for your understanding. I will say that all of this news was VERY hard to keep to myself. :lmao:

Again - CONGRATULATIONS. That is so awesome. When I said it on your TR, I was using my phone - so nothing fancy there. But here....

:cool1::woohoo::yay: :dance3: :banana: :thumbsup2 :cheer2: :yay: :woohoo: :cool1: :thumbsup2 :) :banana:

That's so very NICE!!!!!

Good for you!! :yay:

Good for you!! :yay:

Thanks. :) It wasn't an easy thing to get to this place, let me tell you - but I'm glad of it now. We needed to make some changes - and when I was able to do what we wanted/needed - suddenly it all felt good again. Instead of staying at AKV, we'll be at OKW - and instead of driving both ways, we were able to get a cheap flight down - and a cheap one-way rental for the drive back. And all of it was for less than we were originally going to spend for a rental car for a week driving down - even with the added expense of parking at the airport for a week. I know it seems crazy and too good to be true - but it just all fell together this morning. I guess we are just supposed to go! :rotfl:

I even made an ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe for my DD's birthday meal. We'll be eating mostly in the room on this trip - but we decided we'd take her there - she REALLY wants to go back - and my DW would like to go back to Boma, so I snagged one for there as well. Prior to today, we didn't have any ADR's, nor were we planning on making any. Other than maybe one or two lunches out (Earl of Sandwich perhaps...) - we'll be grilling, and eating in throughout our time there. I even went so far as to add an additional night - so now we'll be there 5 nights instead of just 4. And my eldest stopped his griping when I told the boys that they could bring their game system along.

All in all, everyone seems happy about it once again - which is a VERY good thing.

Congratulations Tim and Melody!! and of course Juliana!!!! Have you thought of any names yet??:thumbsup2

Both posts hit home. Last January, DD’s mom and my ex, passed away after a long illness. I was living in NY when she first got sick and had to make a decision to either move the kid to NY or I would have to move back to Miami. Needless to say, I moved to Miami. After she passed away, I quit my job to stay at home and work freelance. Luckily, I was in a good financial position to do it. Topping it off, I became seriously ill around the holidays and was hospitalized for over 6 weeks.

I am on the mend and one of the first things I did when I got home was to book a stay at BLT for a few days over her Spring break. We are combining the trip with college shopping (Universities of Florida, Central Florida and South Florida).

My choice is to take as much time as I can afford enjoying life and my daughter. Our little odyssey begins a week from today. YES! If you can’t tell, I am really looking forward to visiting the mouse.

Edit: First time I have page ownage. I take it as a good sign for the trip.

We love our Garmin Nuvi. The traffic info isn't particularly useful outside of large cities. But we brought our Nuvi with us to use in the rental car around Disney/Orlando, and it was VERY helpful (especially when I needed to run to Target and pick up a few things while we were there). :car:

I second the Nuvi as well.

CONGRATS "that's nice"!!!:cool1:

I'm enjoying an evening home...pizza, Princess and the Frog (which I had not seen before, pretty funny.. loved Ray) and now watching my boys play Disney Sing It on the Wii.:rotfl2:

Bad situation at work...coworker involved in a serious accident and we are taking care of him...please pray for him and his family...serious condition.:sad1:

Ordered fleece vests for everyone from disneystore.com for our upcoming trip...disappointed when they came... for some peanut butter reason the adult vests are embroidered in the disney font and the kids vests are in a block letter font... :sad2: ...anyway, they were cheap.

It's hard work keepin' up with this thread...
