OK. I finally got the fantasy baseball league set up using Yahoo. I chose Yahoo because it was free and worked fine for football. Most people are familiar with Yahoo in some way so I figured we would try it out and see how it goes.

The league will be a head-to-head league with 5 scoring categories for batters and 5 for pitchers. The rules are on-line, but are basically standard Yahoo scoring.

The draft is on-line and will be held on March 23rd at 9:00pm EDT. This date is somewhat flexible and you can also select auto-draft if you can't make it.

If you are interested, please send me a Private Message with your e-mail address so I can officially invite you.

All experience levels are welcome as this is a free league, but please remember that if you do want to play, you are agreeing to participate and actively manage your team for the entire season. As always, trash talking is expected and encouraged.

I would like to have 14 teams and 3 divisions(Mickey, Goofy and Donald), but that is flexible depending on the number of owners interested.

Daddy/Daughter dances are reason number 23 why i do not have daughters....reason number 1 being...i just don't have daughters.

I've actually got a hot date tonight. The annual Roosevelt Elementary Father/Daughter Dance! DD picked out a nice purple tie for me to match her purple dress. Of course, I'll take her out to dinner first. McDonalds, here we come!

Paid Holiday coming up on the 21st. Since my wife and son are both off, I have to figure out something to do that day, Of course if they let me work that day, I'd be a fool not to do it at Double time and a half, most likely they will let me work 4hrs, which is still cool since I'd be home by 11am

This morning, I began my last day in a job that I have done for more than 11 years. The group that I work with took me out to lunch yesterday, and it is very rare that we all go out together. I think that it has happened four times in total.

Monday I start with a new department in the same company doing something completely different. Just a strange feeling when you've done one thing for so long and then you make a change.

There will still be travel involved, but instead of all of North America (and a few trips overseas), I will primarily be in the Northeast region. While I haven't had the opportunity to meet up with any other dads yet, maybe I'll still have the chance with some of you in that area.

On another note, I'll pay the remainder on our cruise today!

I'll be at Disney World!!! That's right, Spring Break here in sunny FL that week and I'll be at Bay Lake Towers from 3/20 - 3/25. And before that, I'll be taking my son to the Braves/Mets game on 3/5, so I'm really looking forward to March.
