Cant go wrong with Ohana or LeCellier. I made thier Cream Cheese mash potatoes the other night for dinner and there was much happyness around our table at home!!
You have some good picks already!

No doubt! Of all the days to have a carb craving! Cream cheese + anything is good. Add it to some taters and that's just downright granny-slapping tasty!

For one way rentals - you may be better off with a small U-Haul truck. :confused3 :)
You could pimp out the cargo bay...turn it into a rolling man cave.

Hmm..... :scratchin....I'm picturing our next trip...Fort Wilderness....Pimped out U-haul...

Yeah, we love it there. It probably isn't the cheapest place to stay, but we love it because there are things to do in and around the cabin, and it has a kitchen and a grill so we usually buy lunch everyday and eat other meals at the cabin. Most cabins also have a room/window that is lined up for a sunrise or sunset view too. We stayed in one last July that had a sunroom facing east and the sunrise views were incredible. In other words, in case it isn't obvious, I highly recommend this place.:thumbsup2

With the offseason moves everyone has made, the Central is going to be a dogfight this year. I get excited for every baseball season, but now that the Reds are legit, I really can't wait to get it going again.

Well I certainly can't argue history! But seriously, this is the year... I've got a WDW trip planned for 10/19-10/22, so I might miss a couple of playoff games.
One of the top 10 lies heard in the Wrigley bleachers "This is our year."
But as a Cubs fan, don't you miss playoff games EVERY year? :lmao:
Go Cardinals!
I really hope STL resigns Pujols w/o spending all their cash. One player does not make a championship squad. AP knows this, i just hope the Cardinals front office knows this too.

@afwdwfan - I missed the first part of the thread. Is that a Gatlinberg(sp?) related cabin?

@freezinrafiki (or anyone, really) Is there some vacation spot known as the Wisconson Dells? My sister-in-law mentioned her friends from college vacationed there, and said it's a good "beach vacation"? :confused3

Well, we've made the playoffs three times in the last eight years -not great, but better than most. But that pales to the Cardinals, a truly great organization and proof (along with the Twins) that a small-medium sized market can produce a consistent, high-quality product.

Regarding Pujols, wouldn't it be great to see him in Cubbie Blue in 2012?:worship:

On a more relevant topic, I have successfully scammed, er... scheduled 4 trips to WDW in the next twelve months. I would love to meet some Dis Dads if you will be there: March 25 (quickie solo visit) June 26-28 (celebrating oldest daughter's graduation) Oct 19-23 (celebrating middle daughter's 21st birthday:drinking1), and Jan 6-13, 2012 (marathon weekend). Looking forward to saying hello in person!

Looks like we will just miss each other by a day. We are there from the 13th to the 18th post Disney cruise.

We need a Current trip schedule for when we will all be there.

It isn't a lie, they truly believe it...:confused3

Yes and Yes. Never been to Wisconsin Dells but I've got a cousin near there. I think there is a waterpark and some other summer activities, concerts, etc...

Maybe he'll step up his game when he gets to Chicago kind of like Soriano did.:rolleyes1 It seems like the Mets and Cubs just have an uncanny ability to turn elite free agents into average/injury prone players.

Honestly, as much as I hate having to see the Reds face his bat, I truly hope Pujols stays with the Cardinals. These days there's really no loyalty between player and organization. I love seeing a star player and club make a commitment to each other.

wow!!! 5-6 pages in 24 hours. i have to start going on more.:lmao: i hope everything is ok pj. im up for the philly zoo, i hope we can sqeeze it in this spring. we have alot going on between dance and briana graduating, of course all her friends we have known for years are graduating and all the parties. than we have a disney trip in june and september. its gonna be a fast spring and summer but we are looking forward to it. tammy just said this weekend, take a deep breath, here we go.:lmao: 5 dance comps, recitals, graduation, trip to wdw, grad. parties, we are going to pass out when just the two of us head to wdw in sept. for two weeks.:lmao:

I dont want to become a chatty"Carl" here:lmao::rotfl2:.However I just wanted to see whats going on with the DDC Tri-state meet. I think most have agreed to go to the Philly Zoo.Have we come to agreement on what time of yr?I think we need to do another poll so we can set the time of yr and get closer to a date.I know for me I have Little league baseball coming up in April so all heck breaks lose then for us.Looking forward to planning this out and meeting up with you guys.:thumbsup2

The zoo would probably work for us, depending on the day of course. We would love to take our 5-yo granddaughter there! I had also suggested the Millville, NJ, Wings and Wheels Air Show on Memorial Day weekend since the Blue Angels will be there. We're hoping our son will be traveling with them that weekend and it'll be our first chance to see him since October. It looks like its $10 per adult in advance and $15 at the gate. It's $5 for kids.
We're anxiously awaiting word from him about his Review Board for his BA Crest. It should be today or tomorrow! :woohoo:

Hey guys. Just wanted to share a couple of pics from my time here at the World yesterday and today.

Yesterday I really enjoyed the Hawaiian BBQ sandwich at Earl of Sandwich.

2011-0122-00166.jpg

And today I met Greg (billybobblockhead) and his oh so very charming wife and kids. We spent about 4.5 hours together in Epcot. It was awesome! Together we rode Soarin' 3x... first getting a FP (9:57), then riding it, riding Living With the Land and then going back for our FP and getting another FP (12:00), then doing Spaceship Earth and Test Track - then back for our next FP. We did get another FP for like 6:45 or something like that, but we had parted ways after eating lunch together and I didn't go back, and they didn't either that I'm aware of. But it was great. Hopefully I will get to meet up with Brody (dadio) tomorrow still.

Well, I'm off to bed. One more day of fun in the sun here tomorrow, then it's off to Jacksonville and work. Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho!!

We had a wonderful time too, Stopher. It was great just to sit back and listen to everything that you know about WDW. Talking with DW after we went our separate ways, we bow to your Disney knowledge :worship: Hope we can to that again on a future trip. And, we did go back to Epcot at 8:45 and jumped on Soarin' for that 6:00 FP. We were the next to last group on the ride for the day.:thumbsup2

Wow, great thread and club! I can't believe I just found it. So, I would like to be a member please.

First name: Shannon (and yes, I'm a Dad...my mom swore that Shannon was a perfectly good Irish name for boys):confused3

Wife: Kim
Two kids: Maddie (age 11) & Ben (age 9)

Next trip: 3/18-3/26/2011 for Spring Break at AKL!

We live in Big Orange country and love our Vols! (except wife who is an Auburn grad but we overlook that):rolleyes1

P.S. I couldn't get the FB link to work but I think I found the club by searching and have requested to join.:goodvibes

Welcome. I pull for a lighter shade of blue, i.e. your opponent in the Music City Bowl.

Gentlemen,
My wife has made me a bet! If I can get below 230lbs (at 250lbs) before my 43rd b-day (March 13th) then she will pay for the ENTIRE trip herself. But if she can get below 200lbs then I have to pay for the airfare myself. Other then starving myself or consulting a Bariatric Surgeon. Any suggestions. Strict Dole-whip diet? Low-carbs/low-fat LeCellier diet?

*OWNAGE*

My advice; whatever "diet" that you do, please get some exercise to go along with it. The best advice that I got a few years ago was to eat less and exercise more. Not every night, just 3 - 4 times per week for about 30 minutes.

im only at 8 guys so far. ray, ron, steve, tim, carl, barry, christian, christopher. im activly working on jason and mike only lives in the next town. hopefully ill be at before spring.:thumbsup2 8 of the guys i met all in one trip. but to be fair, i was there for 2 weeks so i was able to be there for alot of the guys coming down.

I'm at 1, but I think we're there in June at the same time, so we'll have to set something up.

And then all of us St Louis fans begin to point and snicker... ;) Baseball season is SOOO close!:thumbsup2

The defending Central champs also agree that baseball season is SO close. Love the Reds. Began pulling for them when I was about 6 years old, and since I'm not a fan of convenience (i.e. one who pulls for the winning teams), winning the Central this past year was very satisfying, even if it doesn't happen again for a few years.

Pretty down. Things aren't going very well.

Hang in there. Things will turn around for you.

Great trip to WDW this past weekend. Man are we exhausted. I basically worked in a daze today. So far, I don't have the post Disney hangover that so often happens. Got some great pictures and had a great time with Stopher on Saturday morning. It was actually a pretty funny meet. He sent me a text saying that he was on his way to Epcot. I sent one back saying that we were already there and a description of what I had on. A couple minutes later, I got a return text that said, "I'm in the far right line, green sweatshirt and a red hat." So, I turn to my right and Stopher just sticks his hand in the air. Sort of like, "yeah, it's me." I will say that he did get the rare opportunity to hear my son sing after lunch, if you want to call it that. He had us all cracking up.

We did have an historical happening, though. On Friday morning, it was dumping the rain around park opening time. We got to MK about the time they starting the "good morning" song and the train pulled up to the station. There were very few folks there watching. We went through the gate and decided to go to the Space Mountain area first. We saw the wait was 10 minutes, so we walked in without getting a FP first, went to the left side of the ride, walked right up to numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, and hopped on. No wait whatsoever. First time that has ever happened to us. So, I'll probably start a trip report about the time that I finish my previous ones, which really stinks since I've never done a trip report. But, it's great to be home, but still miss the WDW feeling.

Just got a call from our Navy son........
He passed his Review Board and he will receive his Blue Angels crest at a ceremony tomorrow afternoon!!! He is now officially a Blue Angel!!!:cool1::woohoo::cool1::woohoo:

That's very cool. I considered doing so...since I went back to Epcot after the Studios... but the hot tub was calling me, and I decided that was more important!

I had such a good time with you all. It was so fun. Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys. And yeah, the text thing was pretty cool too. When I got your text "We're already here. Light blue pullover. Off white hat. Dark green back pack. Khaki shorts." I saw you immediately, and watched you react to my text back. And the funny thing is, that I was originally in that line you were standing in, but then moved over to the line to the right for whatever reason. Had I stayed, I would have been just a few ahead of you - and I SHOULD have stayed in that line, since your line got through the gate faster than mine did.

I went over to DTD yesterday again, and I stopped in at the Design-a-Tee shop. They DO have Incredibles options. I took a couple of pics. When I get them uploaded to photobucket later, I'll post them for you. There are LOTS of options.

Thanks for the info on the shirts. Don't know why I love that movie like I do, but I've been a fan of it since it came out. Never could find the Incredibles at HS, but I'm gonna go on a lookout for them when we go in June.
