So...the only Undefeated team in the NFL is the Kansas City Chiefs? :confused3

Wonder what type of money we could have won in Vegas on that bet. :lmao:

Page 185 OWNAGE!!!!

Man, that is unbelievable. There really is no dominant team this year, which I suppose is what the NFL wants.

Here's a football question for you guys. Say you're the coach of an un-named NFL team. You're down 17-3 and t's nearing the end of the half, and there's a play where you run the ball down near the goal line. Time is stopped for a booth review to see if you scored a TD, but the ruling on the field is that the ball was just short, which will make it 4th down. All indications are that the ruling is correct.

The booth review takes forever. During this review, do you

a) Make a decision on what to do if it's 4th down and call a play,
b) Decide to kick the field goal and have the FG team ready, or
c) Twiddle your thumbs?

My team chose c). Then, when it was ruled to be 4th down, they couldn't decide on a play and called timeout. During the timeout, do you

a) Choose a play,
b) Send in the FG team, or
c) Twiddle your thumbs and decide what to get on your after-game pizza?

Again, my team chose c). The subsequent delay of game penalty knocked them back 5 yards, and they were forced to kick a FG.

:sad2:

The NFL is weird this year....Jacksonville beats Indianapolis on a 59 yard field goal??? What's up with that?

I get to clean out the garage today from all the stuff DW chunked in there while I was gone...at least it's cooled off out there and not 90 degrees...

Thirteen days to Disney World:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Glad the Reds are back in the postseason and giving you guys a reason to smile.

That being said.... GO PHILLIES! :woohoo:

I got your back on thePhillies however your on your own with theEagles I have my own problems with my Steelers

OK guys I posted this over on our Dec trip thread.
ok guys I know I am early with this but I am setting up some events that will be streamed live from our Dec trip.I think some of the things that I will be streaming are going to to be the Ice Cream meet,MMCP parade, fireworks and some other things. So it would be cool to get some of the other dads into the live streams!!!So far Steve will be meeting up for ice cream at DTD on sat night,I think I am going to MMCP on thurs so hopefully we can get some dads there for a stream. This should be pretty cool for the Dads at home I know videos are clearer but live streaming is a at the moment thing.
There will be a link and a posted time for these events in my Trip report( once I start it).
I know Christopher did A live ( pics) trip report but I do not believe there was one done through live streaming. So I will venture out and try to set the bar for TR's lol.
I should be breaking off of this PTR around the middle of Nov to start my individual family one.

Live from my cell phone !! There is a 6 second delay but it should be cool.It will be something for the dads at home to catch a live at the moment shot.

of course this would all have to be cleared by the DDC!!!! after all we do have a man law that says "stay off your electronic devices".

I think that this should be lifted for the dads that are trying to text other dads that are in the world at the same time. An of course I think it should be lifted so I can stream live for TR purposes

So back to the reason for this post.I am here at the mercy of the DDC:worship:, to lift the "electronic device" man-law for those dads traveling to the world in Dec. This will allow us to use our phones to text/call back and forth, to communicate with each other.By doing so we will be able to see where guys are at,and try and set up some meetings:cool1:.This will also allow for me to do some live streaming for the dads at home.:thumbsup2For most of us we will be with our families, and our families may be present at some of the meet-n-greets.So this should not interfere with our family time. That being said I think this would be a time for an exception to the man-law.

What does the DDC say? Exception??

Shari had her surgery today and there was NO cancer so she only had to have the left lobe ofher thyroid removed and not the whole thing.!!!:cool1: What a relief...I am worn out but wanted to give an update and thank everyone for the prayers....hopefuly she will come home in the morning...:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Awesome news. NO cancer is a wonderful thing to hear, I know, for you guys.

It's just always fun to see Peyton Manning after a loss with a look on his face like, "Why did these puny mortals on my team fail me?" It is high comedy.

Anybody got a brown paper bag I can use. The Deadskins won and I have to listen to these ,worse than Dallas fans, Deadskins fans at work. They will be unbearable. PEANUT BUTTER!!!!

All have a great week.

Need some DIS Dad help here... anyone have last month's MouseSaver newsletter? I signed up to get it but I'd have to wait until the 15th to get the "special link" for UC discount :(

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Being from Tennessee I'm surrounded by Peyton Manning worshipers... :worship:

I mean people name their chilldren after this guy. :confused3

I'm not one of them...don't get me wrong...I like him and think he's a great QB and leader and role model...but I do not have an alter set up in my closet like some around here.

Fact is as QB of the Vols he never :
1...Beat the Gators.
2...Won a Championship.

Also I lost allot of respect for him after the Saints beat his Colts last year in the Super Bowl...I think he was a very poor sport. Regardless of what excuses he offered afterward...it was just wrong to leave the field without congradulating at least a few members of the other team.

When we were at Disney in August, I used the WDW Lines app on my Droid and it was great. My wife loved it as well. THat being said, I think the man-law should be amended to read:

"Stay off all electronic devices, except for purposes related to the vacation and Disney World."

I refuse to answer this hypothetical line of questioning due it's sheer imaginary essence and the fact that any half-way decent Pop Warner coach wouldn't even mess this up. There is no way a professional coach would ever ... wait a sec ... I'm just doing a little reading on NFL.com in my other browser tab ... oh, that actually happened. My condolences. Let me know if I can bake a casserole or anything for you. :sad1::sad1:

This is an appropriate exception in my book:thumbsup2

I believe this is what Bill Simmons of ESPN.com calls the "Peyton Manning Face".

Now why on earth would you need that Don? :confused3 You must be planning another trip!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 Woo hoo. That's pretty cool if you are. Can't wait to hear all about it :rotfl: Except, you do remember that you need to get a TR up first for your last trip, right? But perhaps you have and I just missed it... I have been a bit busy lately. And haven't spent much time on the boards the past several days, since I was out in the woods once again with the Scouts this past weekend - and I've been asked to head out again this coming weekend, and again in a couple of more weekends. WOW, I'm finally seeing what it's like to be Mr. Popular :cool2:. It never happened when I was growing up, and suddenly now I'm a cool guy, and the kids WANT me around (not my own, but the rest of the Scouts! :lmao: ) Not sure my DW likes my new found popularity, but hey, I'm not going to dispute it.

I was going to reply and tell you that I could help you with this info you requested... but then I saw that Steve already helped you out....
