Visited the website.. very impressive!!!

Glad you like it. Hopefully, some day soon, work and life will calm down enough that I can put more into it again. Luckily, the DISDads are a community-minded group, and others have pitched in while I've been distracted by less important things.

Getting ready to take the kids to the "build a Perry the Platypus In-Action Figure" event at the local Disney Store. Hopefully I can make it out with my sanity intact. FED COVER ME IM GOING IN!!!

Last night's rainstorm should make today's pool party much more pleasant. Heat index should be at about 90 degrees, instead of the 115 degrees its been for the last week.

Now praying that Squeaker will take his nap early, otherwise, we'll have a majorly cranky Squeaker around dinner time at the party.

Just stumbled across this thread. Very nice, though I'm probably more of a kid than my kid...

Howdy all!

We took DS to it as well, I was really impressed with the size of Perry considering he was free. We walked out of the Disney Store and right into the Lego store where they had a event where you build a rocket and they give you a free IMAX ticket. Had lunch at a downtown restaurant that has been around since 1930 and played in the museum of natural history for a couple of hours. Now off to the $1.50 movie theater for How To Train Your Dragon, can't beat 3 movie tickets and a refill on our reusable popcorn pail $7.00!

Hey guys! Just got back from the trip. Auto-train to Virginia and then the drive home. Traffic was absolutely brutal today and it took an extra 2 hours to get home. We had to stop at Rutt's Hut in Clifton, NJ for some great hot dogs - they're called rippers and you have to experience them to understand the appeal of a deep-fried hot dog.

As for Disney, it was fantastic and everyone had a great time. My son threw a tantrum yesterday because he did not want to leave. I promised him we would come back next year. It was definitely hotter than Satan's balls - the first day and the last day were the two hottest. Got to experience Toy Story Midway Mania before it closed for refurb.

The park is under heavy construction near Fantasyland. Whatever they are doing, it looks huge. One sign said future home of some undersea thing with Ariel - looked like a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea type of ride, but I honestly have no idea.

Just finished setting up the Monorail playset in the living room and I am about ready for a nice long sleep.

REMINDER: Disney Dad's Fantasy Football starts in 2 weeks (9/1/10 8:00pm EDT is the Draft). Study up fellas, because vacation is over and I will be bringing the pain!!

I'll post a trip report sometime later this week, but I'll try to answer anyone's questions if you have any.

Hey there guys. I had to share this, I had a bit of a blow out the other day by my grill burner. The rust decided to give up the ghost and the burner fell through the bottom of the grill housing.

So today I decided to replace this as I do enjoy cooking meat over fire. (Tim Allen style Ho Ho Ho...)

Here is Daddy's new Baby:

I cooked up some chicken and peppers tonight and I love this grill. I was actually able to "cook" and not just avoid burning.

Wand - nice and stiff. Thank you! I re-read that original post I made. Boy, I really had a lot to drink that night.

MY DW likes the burnt ones too. They're called Cremators. Last time, they were a little too burnt. This time she just got a ripper and a "weller" - well done, not burnt.

We need more smack talk about fantasy football to get everyone psyched. I will be posting weekly updates throughout the season, but I thought I'd get things started.

I have changed my team's name from the WEDway People Movers to "The Mouse of Pain". :woohoo:

Most southern folk think us northerners don't know diddly-poo about the great game of football. That is about to change. Game on! :cool1:

That's a very nice grill you got there :thumbsup2 I feel your pain. My burners gave up the ghost this summer, but instead of bucking up and getting a new grill, I ordered a new burner. I have one of those cast solid aluminum grills so I just cleaned her up... good as new! BUT yours... ooooooo... so nice!
