Have a great trip! :woohoo:

Haven't tried all of the resort restaurants, but we liked Kona Cafe at the Polynesian and Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL--althought that one is more fun to do with your kids.

Yankees, shmankees. Did you see what Roy Halladay did yesterday?? Holy Peanut Butter!

To bad the Rockies couldnt of kept him. Hometown boy makes good!!! I will be rooting for the Phillies for this reason only. :rotfl:

Peanut Buttery CRUD!!!!
I've been busting my peanut butter and haven't been on the boards in a few days. So much to catch up on.

Wow, amazing performance. I pretty much figured game 1 vs. Doc would be a win for the Phils. Still scratching my head about why Baker went with Volquez over Wood. Especially after the way Wood pitched the Phils earlier this year and as inconsistent as Edinson has been. Either way though, gotta score runs to win a game and Doc didn't let that happen. Hopefully the playoff inexperience is behind them and the Reds hitters can settle the nerves now that they've played a game and get the bats going tomorrow.

As a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan, I take offense to that.:sad1:

Yeah, I didn't get that one, either. Especially since Wood came out of the bullpen and pitched well. I think if I were a Reds fan, I'd hang my hat on the fact that the bullpen shut the Phillies down from the 3rd inning on. That's the hidden story here.

But man, Halladay is amazing.

Any Dilbert fans out there???

Sometimes I believe Scott Adams works in a cube not 10 feet from me.

My favorite character has to be Wally. :lmao:

From my Page-a-Day Calendar for Oct 1.

Pointy Hair Boss (PHB): Wally, it's ten o'clock. You're supposed to start at eight.
Wally: That's because I plan to work two unverifiable hours after you leave today... My alleged loyalty to this company is second to none.

:lmao:

The standings after 4 weeks:

SPORT GOOFY
The Mouse of Pain 4-0-0
Matterhorn Yodelers 3-1-0
Jasmine's Necklace 2-2-0
Taxidermy Tech 2-2-0
Passamaquody Dragons 1-3-0
Main Street Moose 1-3-0
Grumpy Old Men 1-3-0

Touchdown Mickey
Test Track Dummies 3-1-0
Small World Singers 2-2-0
Kerchak's Tribe 2-2-0
Thunder Mtn Locos 2-2-0
Duckburg Ducks 2-2-0
Le Cellier Dwellers 2-2-0
Figment Cowboys 1-3-0

Last week, the Passamaquoddy Dragons broke into the win column in a big way with a 160.70-108.25 win over the Main Street Moose. Let's see if he can keep it up this week against the 3-1 Matterhorn Yodelers.

The Test Track Dummies took the lead in the Touchdown Mickey Division with a hard fought victory over the Small World Singers thanks to the monster game from T.O. Kind of ironic that one of the NFL's biggest dummies came through for the Test Track Dummies.

In one of the closest cames of the year, the Duckburg Ducks won an inter-division game over Taxidermy Tech by 1.1 point. I guess that Anthropology A&M playbook really paid off - that, and an unebeleivable effort from Zach Miller - the Tight End from Oakland. I almost forgot Oakland still had a football team.

With help from Tarzan, Kerchak's Tribe enjoyed a 50 point victory over Figment Cowboys. All I can say is, "How 'bout them Cowboys!"

Le Cellier Dwellers evened their record at 2-2 with their victory over the Thunder Mountain Locos who fell to 2-2. They immediately celebrated by downing a keg of Moosehead and watching Strange Brew. Those wacky Canadiens...

With the outcome in doubt into Monday night, Jasmine's Necklace got a nice effort from Ricky Williams and beat the Grumpy Old Men by 10. Despite the DOlphins getting destroyed by the Pats, Ricky didn't seem to notice for some reason. On an somewhat unrelated note, 5 bags of empty Cheetos were found in the Dolphins locker room after the game.

Finally, The Mouse of Pain remained undefeated with their victory over the Matterhorn Yodelers who did not have the horses(or Yaks) to overcome the bye week.

For Week 5, there are some very competitive games in the Touchdown Mickey division with teams looking the break up that logjam. Also, we have a battle of 1-3 teams between Figment Cowboys and Grumpy Old Men. Loser will have a tough road to get into playoff contention.

That's what happens when the GM is out of town and Wade Phillips gets to to draft the players. I'm playing for the 1st pick in next year's draft.

Then you must work in the same building as me. I swear I could sell Scott Adams enough ideas to keep his grandchildren Drawing comics. One of my coworkers has made the same comment.

good thing your not counting down.:lmao: i go over to the dvc site to see my count down, they take it down to the second.:lmao:

Good Idea. I wish they would let you put the time in that your flight takes off.

I am thinking of embarrassing the DW in the airport and wearing my ears here in Houston when we are leaving. Although I have a feeling she would pull hers out and join me.

I was just glad I have TO to save me. When Vick left the game early I thought I was in trouble. The Eagles are killing me... lost Vick and McCoy this weekend. Looks like Cutler is going to be out next week as well. And to think a week ago I wanted to get rid of one of my 3 QB's. Time for Rivers to step up! Now to find an RB to fill in for McCoy....

We also ate several bowls of cheddar cheese soup and some poutine from Daddy-O's restaurant, eh?

The Eagles are killing you? Imagine what it's like to be a fan watching this train wreck! :scared1:

Here comes dvczerfs to make fun of me in 3...2...1... :lmao:
