From the **Busted** Files....

Fed Ex, by mistake, shipped my new fishing reels to my home address instead of my work address....

My wife opened the box and found out how much I actually paid for them..:scared1::scared1::headache::headache:

My big fear has been that something would happen to me and she would sell my fishing gear for what I **told** her I paid for it....

May have to lay low for a while...:rolleyes1:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Speaking of Ouch…

So my 4 year old son is now in trouble with his mother. He got a digital camera for his birthday and he plays with it all the time. The flash doesn't work so you don't know when he is taking photo's.

Apparently he burst into the bathroom the other day while my wife was in there, snapped a picture and laughed "Ha I go one of mom on the toilet"... This did not go over well... She took the camera, and was going to delete it only to find that of the 400 photos he had taken so far over two hundred of them were of her backside. Apparently he would take a photo of her every time she bent over. . . He thought it was hilarious... she did not.

When she told me about it after I got home from work my first thought was.. Man I wish he knew how to post on facebook... I however said "that's horrible, I will talk with him"

Thought this was funny so wanted to share :goodvibes

Im thinking Schlotsky's for lunch!!
Let me know if they have a gluten free menu. Who knows, they might.

Ian, earlier you asked about your total posting stats across all DDC threads…
Here you go. At the close of DDC VIII, it looks like this:

..……….Joined..…I….II….III….IV….V…...VI….VII….VII…Total
Rental01...II…….0…38…..4…..5….56….138…21…102…364

29th place over all (not counting your post count here today).

Woohoo! Thanks! I was really busy during VII

I like to wear Keens at DW. They are a waterproof hiking sandal. The whole family has a pair or two. They cover all Disney activities.

I've heard good things about them but never actually worn them. I've got a pair of Nike ACG sandals that had been my amusement park sandal of choice for probably 12 years or so. I just never wear them except for at parks. The problem with them is that they tend to rub and give me blisters and i've found that flip flop types are actually a lot more comfortable for me and don't give me blisters. The Adidas kind I tried in 08 were the hard rubber sole though and I had just been cleared to walk without crutches and a walking boot after achilles tendon surgery about 2 months before our trip. Ice and Advil were my best friends that week.

Personally, I think I'll do fine with the Crocs. My wife has some and likes them, so she talked me into trying the flip flops. They look like pretty basic simple flip flops, just like my Adidas/Nike ones that I've always worn... only they actually have some cushion to them. We'll see how it works!

So, while at Kroger (King Soopers for those out west) I bought a bag of "washed and ready to eat" snow peas for lunch. YUM! I just got to the end of the bag and found that there were two that were so rotten that they had been fused together with fungus.

I'm feeling icky...

I have a pair of those ACG's - tore mine in half. The rubber sole/grippy part just broke. I epoxy'd it back together and it's been fine since then. Love those sandals!

 perhaps you now get the afternoon off ?

I've been multi-quoting all morning while reading along, and then plan to post during lunch. It's really the only way I can come close to TRYING to keep up.

alright Dads, off to my big interview in Orlando, I suppose what better place for a DisDad to relocate to. We're still hoping that Indy comes through for DW, but this is a pretty good Plan B.

Oh, and happy anni....
I just wanted to tell you both good luck.... we're all counting on you.
Today's point to ponder:

Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane ?

1) :lmao:
2) My vote is NO, because generally speaking, hearses aren't on the highway long enough to necessitate being in the carpool lane.

Eat fish. It's awkward at first, especially with all of the living fish looking at you with judgement in their eyes. But then you realize who's at the top of the food chain, smile, take a bite and say "you're next, Flipper."

Dude....that is so wrong on so many levels..:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao::lmao:
again, :lmao: That's really.... well, funny! We made it a point to order seafood at Coral Reef for that same reason.

Thats OK. This tread moves so fast that even I miss half the stuff I type. .
it's okay, no one else pays attention to what you type, either!

Well, any good trader gets real time quotes. So obviously, the DDC updates faster.

That's right. Faster than real time. We're pushing the boundaries of the space/time continuum here, fellas.
I figure any space/time continuum reference deserves presence in my multi-quote.

This thread moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
First of all, you can never go to far, and second of all, if i'm going to get busted, it is NOT going to be by a guy like THAT!

Try aiming better. :rolleyes1
boo.... :rotfl2: more boo than :rotfl2:, but still pretty :rotfl2:

What are these magnificant sandals you speak of?

Wow...no posts in over 10 minutes...what gives? :confused3
as stated, i was busy multi-quoting.

And now, for my news. My supervisor says, "does anyone want to go to the Cardinals game?"
The game last night was postponed till today for a double header b/c of the severe weather last night.
"um yep! Right here!"
"Oh, sorry. We're too busy, so, no. you can't go."
"I'll take the PTO! Seriously, I'd LOVE to go.! " (the stadium is maybe half a mile from the office)
"no"
What a Beverly... offer me a free ticket, then yank it back like a child tauting a younger sibling...
(She's not *really* a beverly... but, I felt like saying so)
