My boys have searched for this hidden Mickey for a couple of years and had never seen it before. They wanted to do it all by themselves, so I let them, even though I'd seen it previously

That’s defiantly one of the hardest to find (even if you know where it is).

:idea:

If posting a TR here in the DDC requires such quick updates to keep them from getting washed away into oblvion, maybe we should require Emma's Dad to write his TR's here in this thread in a style similar to Stophers.

Yeah, I was talking with him on the phone yesterday, and getting his updated before they leave again... next Friday... not gonna happen. He could do it this way... and be like me... since I'm not writing one for this trip. I gave a brief rundown last night of what we did... I think on page 3 or 4 - and now these photos and I'm calling it good.

Stopher Nice job on the cake.

Wow that bathroom at OKW is huge.

Rental Even if the Denver server dudes don't fly you out there now, maybe they'll realize that they need you on their team and ask you to join them.
That would be SWEET!

Christopher seems to be attempting to make up for the fact that I was posting a lot this morning. Beverly! He's on to my plan!

Yeah, I wasn't exactly holding my breath. :lmao:

BTW, I'd comment on your mini-TR here, but it looks photo-centric and I can't see them. You do have a lot of good looking [X]'s though!:thumbsup2

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is: Never get involved in a land war in Asia. But, only slightly less well known is this: Never go in against a Sicilian, when death is on the line!

It is. I'm glad you're enjoying the X's! :) Hopefully you'll get to see the real things when you're on at home tonight. In case you forget, or we're way way beyond it by then - pages 29-32ish

Is that how you spell that? :confused3 :thumbsup2

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Best part- 1:56 in.. about Disney :thumbsup2
Worst Part- That guy wearing the UK hat! :sad2:

:lmao::lmao: That's how we roll!

Morning guys.

Just a quick question, we are going to SeaWorld Orlando for a few days next week and I was wondering if anyone had any must do's? :confused3

A third vote for Manta. My 2008 TR also has more information about our visit to Sea World (See signature)

Don...I created a "white outline" image...but it's on my home pc...I'll send it to you via e-mail tonight.

:thumbsup2 Got your PM, too!

While my current milestone of 100 posts is nothing compared to many of you, it is pretty big for me. As mainly a lurker on the Dis, I have learned a lot from everyone, and had many laughs. Heck I even got a side job that I know I am going to love from being in the Dis and posting every so often.

I am happy to share so many beliefs, such as the importance of family, with so many gentleman that call the DisDads club home. It have been a pleasure reading along with every one in the club.

There have been so many tragedies in the past years and the support that each and every dad offers to each other, in the form of prayers and support for each other is so overwhelming. I know that there is a place that I can go where no matter what my opinion is each and everyone of you will listen and offer insights without attacking anyone. Having such a diverse group of dads and to be able to have this amount of understanding and support is amazing.

It is amazing to read and share in what everyone has to share and I feel blessed to have a place to go where everyone genuinely cares for each other. It is an honor to be apart of this group and I look forward to many more years of sharing the love of family and Disney with you.

James

Well said, James! Congrats on 100! :cool1:

Just in case you missed it - and one of the reasons why a non-parks stay is so possible and enjoyable... our room (first posted WAAAAAAAAAY back on page 9 and 10 - a whopping 13 hours and 23 pages ago)

It’s at the AKL and I’ll show you where to look for it, and it will still take most folks a while to hunt it down.

It does. And it's always so easy to tell who's looking for it, and who's just clueless about it being there in the individual stances of the people nearby.

I’ve been pondering the images form your mini no-parks TR here, and it looks a whole lot like the stuff that I end up enjoying most and remembering the longest every time we go down there anyway. I’ve just about convinced myself that I need to schedule a “surprise” stay "on world" without worrying about getting park tickets at all. I bet we’ll have just as much fun if not more (and be considerably less beat down as well).

We're already talking about when the next no-parks trip will be. At dinner just a couple of days ago my eldest was saying how much he enjoyed it, and wished aloud that we hadn't done the water park (which was their idea in the first place) so we would have had more time for things we did, but kind of skimped on.

Nice pictures stopher! Looks like a nice, relaxing time at OKW. And pictures of the WL are always appreciated. I'm glad the roof stayed attached to your plane as well. :rotfl2:

My wife and I spent a long weekend down there one time, stayed at the WL, and just relaxed by resort-hopping, swimming, mini-golfing, and trying out some different restaurants. We had an absolute blast. It helps justify the cost of the more expensive resorts, too, when you take the time to enjoy the amenities there.

Here's the view from our balcony

This guy was so fascinating to watch. My DD and I seriously spent at least 45 minutes watching him go back and forth and up and down. Very impressive piece of machinery.

The Sicilian is reporting in! Do we have a "crew" of Disdads who share in this great lineage??
