Hey dads...thought I'd stop in and give you a little mini trip report on our one day trip to magic kingdom...
A great day that has us all wanting more!

This is totally flawed - I don't see myself on there anywhere.
Wanted to do a dole whip....but the line was at least 25 minutes long!
Hit the monorail and called it a day.
Had an unexpected surprise on the monorail when my three year old who i was holding had fallen asleep and "tinkled" on me. she still hasn't mastered t he night time part of her potty training! So I'm in a crowded monorail with pee running down my leg! Oh Beverly!
Thank you Gentlemen, and I got 5 points for it!![]()
It was the first time I'd seen the question asked as well. I personally HAD the same question a couple of threads ago when you first started posting those incredible stats... but I just figured it out for myself and then had fun checking every so often to see who was in the lead, etc, etc.
I created my own spreadsheet in excel several threads back where I track the various stats that I report on regarding each overall thread's duration, posting averages and the like which is very easy to update... every few weeks now.
Hey guys! Wow, that went fast.
Just a quick check-in while I take a break from post-Seder II: Electric Bugaloo clean-up. Nice work getting the new thread set up Don! (I updated the Disdads.com links before coming here to post).
Oh, and I booked my first vacation as a travel agent today! Woo hoo! It's a fairly inexpensive trip, so a fairly small commission. But it felt great to help a couple plan their first trip to the World with their infant son!![]()

Noooo.... Traffic on America's Parking Lot? Say it ain't so!Thanks to some traffic on I-4..
We're looking forward to getting signatures from her this year.Got some pictures with Rapunzel...without Flynn...
EVERY time we go that place is closed. Seriously. I hear it's good though.ate dinner at the tomorrowland terrace...
Buzz is worth going back for.So we lost out on buzz
I think Disney has a contract with God when sales are down to either bring in a mysterious storm from nowhere or to make it unbearably hot.and were forced into the emporium with the masses of people.
Its surprising what you can pull off with a spread sheet.
And thats the truth Pfft!
As far as you know.
Ahhhhhaaaaaa! So thats how its done.
Mystery solved.
Sorry about that Carl.
I may have to agree with that assessment
Congratulations!Thank you all (and better half is an understatement of epic proportions).
Im one of those whackos that are truly happy to be married.
It could be the shared Disney obsession, Im just saying
But whatever it is. I like it.
It sounds like fun to me. I can't think of a better way to earn a few extra bucks.
Good luck!alright Dads, off to my big interview in Orlando, I suppose what better place for a DisDad to relocate to. We're still hoping that Indy comes through for DW, but this is a pretty good Plan B.
Absolutely, very impressive. 2 page ownage and the start of the downfall of DIS Dads VII all at once.Actually I think Randall's 2 page + run of Walt Disney Quotes was the best.

Looks like it was a fun day! Hopefully this taste of Disney makes everyone want to dedicate a whole week next time instead of a day!Hey dads...thought I'd stop in and give you a little mini trip report on our one day trip to magic kingdom.

Working on it. I just don't want my work to ban this site too. They've already taken away a few other sites that I used to sit on all day. Then you'll just have to step up and get chattier
I'd say that 98% of my posts are here. I'm positive that it's the last thing you said...do you only post on disdads threads or have you posted on other threads? If you've posted on other threads its likely that your disdads posts are sub 500, which is why you don't show up on that list. Either that or Stopher is purposely taunting you.
Woohoo! Thanks!Ill hunt down your stats when I get home for lunch (dont carry that spreadsheet around with me, but I could start doing so if need be).

Who suggested using the monorail spiel as a ring tone? Whomever you are, you are a genius.
People respond pretty consistently when they hear that ring tone.. It's always confusion, followed by laughter.
Do any of you dads have story's about really hard interview questions. So far the most difficult questions I've seen are how many 1 inch ball bearings can you put inside a 747? and the MSFT question about why are manhole covers round? I'm looking for other hard or unusual questions.
Mine is the Pirates' song - "Yo ho yo ho, a pirate's life for me!"Who suggested using the monorail spiel as a ring tone? Whomever you are, you are a genius.

Hey dads...thought I'd stop in and give you a little mini trip report on our one day trip to magic kingdom.
Thanks to some traffic on I-4..we finally got to the monorail around 8:30a. Of course being Easter week and very busy...the monorail line was very long. The family was impressed when I suggested that we use the resort monorail line instead. Much faster
Our first stop once we got to MK was the rapunzel meet and greet. The wait was already an hour and a half! We knew it would only get longer. So one of us waited in line while I ran and got fast passes for Peter pan's flight and also received a bonus Philharmagic FP at the same time.
We still hadn't seen Rapunzel...and the time came for another FP...Splash Mountain!
Got some pictures with Rapunzel...without Flynn....did Peter pan, the dreaded IASW, philharmagic, got pictures with Mary Poppins and pinnochio.
Lunch at CRT...food was great!
Watched the 3pm celebrate you parade.. Did Splash mountain...country bear jamboree for grandma... Flying carpets....
Wanted to do a dole whip....but the line was at least 25 minutes long!
Did the tea cups...space mountain with a fast pass....ate dinner at the tomorrowland terrace...had fast passes for buzz but we needed to get a spot for MSEP...so we had to skip buzz.
MSEP was cancelled due to the thunderstorm that came out of nowhere! So we lost out on buzz and the parade and were forced into the emporium with the masses of people.
Saw wishes when the rain stopped...

Overall it was a great day considering the crowds. We were able to do a lot more than I ever expected. And the character meets we did were the highlight of our day for my daughters.
Still bummed we missed out on buzz...still haven't done that ride yet! But we were able to do splash...a first for us!
A great day that has us all wanting more!
Thanks Rob, and Happy Anniversary!![]()
