WooHoo!!! :woohoo: I talked my DW into adding a short trip to WDW toward the end of this year. The original plan was to head that way during the Thanksgiving holidays (not the best time, but as I’ve said, we are completely restrained by the school calendar).

Well… She started rummaging around the boards and various fan sites :scratchin and figured out that one of the tricks to the current free dining plan offer is that: so long as the first day of your reservation is prior to the ending date of the offer, Disney will apply the plan to your entire stay even if you are staying past the end date of the offer. What that means to us is that we were able to move the trip from the Thanksgiving break to the very beginning of the Christmas break on our school calendar, get the dinning plan for free, save enough to upgrade our resort to POR, add an extra day to the park tickets, and still end up spending a smidgen less then the original quote in November. :goodvibes

SWEET! On World for the Holidays!
I knew I married her for a reason. :worship:

I have to give credit where credit is do. My DW is amazing when it comes to deals and planning trips to WDW. So she is always checking things out and all I have to do is show up. lol :)

0 v 0 at half in World Cup Final. Netherlands player jump-kicked Spanish player in the chest in 1st half and not ejected from game. Not as good a game as Germany yesterday.

If I remember correctly the code is that if you actually carry a topic for longer than 2 pages, your banned for a week. :rotfl2:

As far as the 3D movie craze, I think the only movie I've seen recently (all have been animated movies with the kids) where the 3D effect was additive was How To Train Your Dragon. This was a good use of the 3D effects.

Glad I am learning all the "rules" here. Would hate to have this sites SWAT team in a helicopter come flying over my house and come crashing in to seize my lappie..... :rotfl2:

I have no idea what is going on. No one else does either. Don't think this thread has a moderator, or they gave up 3 threads ago. You can borrow my tools if you will do the maintenance at my house when your done.

As long as you supply the food and drinks, wide screen TV, and a good comfy lazy boy so I can park and rest.

Yeah, we have two slogans: "Off Topic Since 2007" (which tells you something) and "Man Laws and Cheese Balls". :lmao:

I have to ask..cheese balls... those little orange puffy ones? Or hand rolled cheese? Or cheese curds? :)

Got everything but the wide screen. That would be some commute.

15 minute extra play in the World Cup before shoot out.

Yes it would :) Have a friend at work. Came to the United States as a kid from Italy. He is a big soccer fanatic for Italy. When the World Cup started I mentioned that I thought soccer was a club/hobby sport. Man he didn't like that at all.... still upset with me lolol :rotfl2:

Looks like no shoot out. Spain scored goal in the last parts of the second extra 15 minutes. I need to go find that Octopus and see if it can pick lotto numbers. I played in high school, not good enough to play for college team. Did a week tour of Europe and a week in France & Italy, and learned just how serious soccer really is there.

Came from a small high school. No soccer team at all. Just offered football in fall with basketball, wrestling. Than track, baseball, rifle, golf teams in spring. I opted to be the score keeper for the all girls softball team. ;) SWEEEEEEETTtttttttt :cool1: during the spring. GOOD CHOICE lol :rotfl2: just me and about 30 girls and a female coach. :):)

Gang, it's boB (i spell my first name backwards.)
3-D? I'll leave it. I don't think it helps to tell the story.

Spain - Netherlands. I had Holland... *tear...

Remember a few posts ago, i was talking about getting a new car? Well, my 2000 Ford Focus with 95,217 miles finally died. I bought it on January 4, 2000, and it was GREAT!:thumbsup2

I wanted to replace it with a 2010 Honda Civic LX, since i have 3 boys (7,5,3) and a DD due on 9/2/10. Nice, safe, practical.

The DW wanted to replace it with a Mustang.:confused3

I left the Ford dealership with a :woohoo:2011 Ford Mustang:banana: V-6 with 2 pedals. I don't know how to post pics, but if I did, I'd show it off.
I'm not a "showey" guy, though. I'd be more braggy if I'd gotten the Civic, but i'm still happy to have a 300 hp daily driver :dance3:

CONGRATS.....:) Sounds like a sweet sweet ride.....

I'm taking The Bug to see "Despicable Me" for movie night tonight.

I really wish this 3D trend would just die. I have yet to see a 3D movie where the 3D actually improved the movie. But the theater tacks on a "3D surcharge" to every ticket. I'd just buy tickets to the 2D version, but The Bug knows it's out in 3D (she's seen the previews all summer), and she would be disappointed to miss that.

AJ so how was Despicable Me is it as funny as the preview:confused3 I was thinking of taking DW & DS to go see it when they got back

Yeah, I remember making fun of those guys that would do "girl" sports. A few years later, I had the Homer Simpson moment - doh!!!

Have a Great Trip:goodvibes I just dropped my DW & DS off at the inlaws, they should be landing tomorrow around 10am in Orlando then off to the timeshare, then WDW:cool1: I told them to watch out I think this is the time of year everyone from Brazil is there:scared1:

How are you holding up with the family heading to WDW and you being home?

Was one of the best choices in my life. I remember driving back from a away game with all the girls on the bus and just me.....still brings a tear to my eye..:cool1::cool1:

I'm just fine with it, I could have went but declined for 3 main reasons

1- I don't fly
2- Did WDW in July once, never again
3- Not taking a vacation with my Inlaws and the rest of her family, I did that once too (it was that July trip:lmao:) I have nothing against any of them But they slow me down, totally on a different time agenda:lmao:

I can get some stuff done here, that I normally couldn't since during the summer we try to do stuff with my DS, seems like there is no time to work on any projects:confused3

Plus I'll be there in Dec for the Dis Dad trip, IMO much better time of the year to go:woohoo:
