Well… She started rummaging around the boards and various fan sites :scratchin and figured out that one of the tricks to the current free dining plan offer is that: so long as the first day of your reservation is prior to the ending date of the offer, Disney will apply the plan to your entire stay even if you are staying past the end date of the offer.

I wonder if that works the other way as well:confused3 We will be there Dec5-11, One of the DP dates is from Dec10-21, since I'm there already on the 10th will they cover the whole trip:goodvibes or is this just wishful thinking:confused3:rolleyes1

Don’t know, but it’s an interesting idea. It’s 10-21 dates that we’re getting in on the tail end of. We will be pulling in on the 18th and staring through the 22nd. The reservation applied the plan across the entire stay with no problems at all. I’d like to think you could work it in reverse as well, but I suspect that Disney might not see it that cut-n-dried. It might still be worth getting them on the phone and checking into though.

I kinda feel like the new guy in the neighborhood. Meeting the guys on the block but still not really knowing whats going on. lol. I guess that comes with more reading and time. So I guess I am still not ready to ask to borrow some tools lol..

I have no idea what is going on. No one else does either. Don't think this thread has a moderator, or they gave up 3 threads ago. You can borrow my tools if you will do the maintenance at my house when your done.

So they can gouge use for extra loot. And 3D is actually good now.

I think the 3D glasses make the $5.00 popcorn look like big enough so you think didn't get ripped off.

WooHoo!!! :woohoo: I talked my DW into adding a short trip to WDW toward the end of this year.

Great news. Anytime at WDW is a great time. :thumbsup2

lol...I jumped around and checked out some older pages....I can see the strict on topic code lol....too fun. Nice to have a place just for the dads.
Yeah, we have two slogans: "Off Topic Since 2007" (which tells you something) and "Man Laws and Cheese Balls". :lmao:

:cool1:only 2 more days until the next trip........can't wait for the wilderness lodgepirate:pirate:
Have a great trip! :cool1:

Yesterday, the Blue Angels officially announced their new officer selections for the 2011 season. Enlisted selectees should be posted soon. Stay tuned! ;)

Love visiting the Wilderness lodge! Wish I could stay.

As to the 3D movies, I can handle them a few minutes at a time but find that after a while, my eyes start to individually focus which really messes things up. No feature length 3D movies for me. :3dglasses:mad:

OK guys, at the risk of going on topic, I'm going to ask a Disney related question...

We are thinking about going to MNSSHP as part of our October trip. I know that there is a separate admission for this but DW keeps telling me that if we go to a park that day that it must be the Magic Kingdom since we will not have park hopper tickets. I am thinking about another park for that day, then to the MK for MNSSHP.

I know that my DW is never wrong but I don't think that I am wrong on this one. Anybody done this before???

We had PH when we did it, but I'm pretty sure you are right, since it is a totally seprate event.

You are correct, your MNSSHP tickets are completely separate tickets. You scan them when you enter, not your park tickets. Also, I'm not sure of the times for this year but normally you can use the party tickets to get into the park 2 hours before the posted start of the party time (ie ticket says party starts at 7:00 but you can enter at 5:00).

Randy, did you get a chance to call them about options (Grand Marshall or being picked for park openning)for the Dec. trip. DW & DS are there for the week , so I'm going to try to get some event planning done on the Dec thread:woohoo:

youll have to let us know how you make out with dw when you tell her you were correct!:lmao: it is a seperate ticket. it has nothing to do with your regular pass. if you did go to the mk that day, you would have to go back out to the turnstiles and run your party ticket thru and get your wrist band.if you dont have a wrist band during the party, they ask you nicely to leave.

Thanks guys! Zerfs, I can tell her that I was right, I just don't tell her that she was wrong! :confused3:rotfl:

We have done this for the past several years and one year did an entire family theme costume. The others years just the kids dressed up. We have found that with small kids it is best for us to make the party day a pool day and to let them rest up and be ready for the late night at the magic kingdome! Also, you are able to start entering the park at 4pm on party days

:lmao::lmao: yup, some how, some way, it would end up you were wrong. and if that didnt work for her, she would remind you of something you havnt done yet that she needs done.:lmao: after almost 26 years, i learned to keep my mouth shut and say, yes dear.:lmao:

not only the small kids steve,on party day, we go to the park rope drop, come back around 11. nap, go back around four, dinner at 5 at tonys town square and than stay till about midnight. dw gets a bit grumpy if we try to keep her out all day.:lmao::lmao: than wake her up the following morning for rope drop again.:lmao: if your ever at wdw and hear a lady walking around with a dd and dh saying, "you people are nuts". thats dw!!!:lmao:

I didn't have any luck with the regular guest services. I sent an email to DVC Guest Relations and they gave me the number for the Guest Relations office at the front of the park. I'll be giving them a call this week.

Leaving tonight for the wilderness Lodge:cool1:, Can't wait for the long drive, I'll say hi to Mickey for everyonepirate:

Have a great trip. I guess we will all be there in spirit as well. I know there are a bunch of guys wishing they were going to WDW right now. I am one of them.:)
