Growing up in So. Cal, we did that at Disneyland. It was fun. The first Grad Night ever was in 1961. My dad missed it by a year, and my mom's graduating class was just a few years after that. My brother enjoyed it as well a few years before I did. Being the Disney-geek I am, naturally I was the one the class voted for to be Grad Night Chairman...but that was pretty cool in itself... since I got to go to D-land twice in advance for official "pre-planning" tours and "preview" various attractions (read - they walked us right on as VIP's skipping the lines entirely). Then a couple of years later I went back as a Chaperone at the school's invitation.

While it's not very good, a bit blurred and I'm not looking at the camera, here's a pic of me, my date and our DDC buddy on Grad Night 1988.

I've been in IT in some or another role for around 13 years. Now I do mostly DBA work. I miss spending the company's money buying servers and workstations.

Speaking of cheese, my nick-name growing up was The Big Cheese we called ourselves The Cheese Gang, there was 9 of us, To this day all of my old friends still refer to me as Cheese, including there wives


I also have one of those neat Disney CC, I still have the old style red one with the Mickey head outline,only thing that might make it alittle different is it says Charter Cardmember (got it on our Honeymoon when they 1st came out), but what does that get me, zip- zero-zelich.

Hi Guys....just poking my head in....scrambling around trying to get ready to leave on Sunday (You'd swear this is my first trip)

Anyway, lots and lots going on at home, but wanted to drop in and say hi!!

Todays events in AF did go over well with WIFECOM today, so I'm trying to settle her as well......MUCH easier said than done

4 more days at home.

Don....I had one of those post trip blues on this past trip. It was as if the magic was not as special for some reason. I honestly have no clue why...However, we are still planning a trip and looking forward to it. When we landed in Orlando for the cruise a few months ago here was ahint of the magic in the air just being in Orlando so I am hoping that things will be great for our December trip. Both kids and I will be celebrating our birthdays there this year so that in itself will be different!

All you Dads headed down...have a good trip...take lots of pictures...we will be looking to see them posted on FACEBOOK. Yeah Ron...facebook!! That thing you still have not signed up for yet...and all the new Dads....join us over there too!!!
