Well it's been a long time since I've posted here, but have been following this thread. Pretty much missed thread 3 but caught up on that over the last 2 months. Anyhow, celebrated the big 50 yesterday. DW had a surprise party planned but DD10 mentioned something last week about a secret, but I kind of figured something was up since I suprised her last August for hers. Well the excuse to get me out of the house was my Lions club President called and said one of the members was causing some problems and we had to have an emergency board meeting and could I come to the Knights of Columbus Hall at 2:30. DW & DD had to leave for an unscheduled rehearsal for her school quior that is tomorrow night and they'd be back at 2:30. Well I never called to tell her where I was going since I figured I'd see her there. It was great to see everyone there, some I hadn't seen in years. Then my co-workers spent over 2 hours decorating my desk last night, sorry I haven't figure out how to post pictures, but the cake yesterday had me and the Goof on it. Trip planned for Nov. 13-21 renting DVC points from co-worker and staying at OKW.

How do I get one of those disdads emails?

Great report Nate! Thanks for sharing. It looks like a nice time. I can't wait to take my family, but I need to wait a few years before my kid can appreciate it.

I really enjoyed the trip Report about D.C. I keep thinking "Okay, NEXT year" but we keep having kids, so we're still (Like freezinrafiki) too young a family to go...yet.
Also, Mt. Dew Slurpee? I'm thinking I should spend more time near 7-11's...

Just head over to http://www.disdads.com/ and register with our "clubhouse" site (link should be to the bottom right of the page). Then I can use the name information you plug in to the registration to set up your Email address.

There's a link to a read-only shared calendar in the right-hand column on the disdads.com page. I've been entering birthday and trip dates from the thread here onto that calendar. To actually share calendars, you need to go through the Settings of your own calendar - you can access it by going to http://calendar.disdads.com/ From there, you can invite others to share your calendar.

Hey Steve I think I did it I got your calendar.I went to setting and set it to be shared with all disdads.Then I went to other calendars and clicked on add coworkers,then typed in your disdad email and bang there it was I got your calendar.Now i have togo and add the other dads.
So in saying this we all will need an active list of the dads with the disdads.com email that have calendars shared

I started listening to Dave Ramsey and we went to a cash system. I still kept my Disney Visa, but only use it for Disney vacations.

Love Dave Ramsey--- using his system definitely got us to the place where we could purchase DVC. He wouldn't like the idea that I financed my DVC membership, but He'll like the fact that we financed 5 years instead of 10.
