Umm..no, I went to school right next to that Krispy Kreme (Moultrie Middle)...oh man, the smells could really torture you:lmao::lmao:

My cousin was the Chief of Police killed in Georgetown back in 1994(?)

AND GUYS, I KNOW THIS IS A HIJACK...........GET OVER IT, THE DANCING FEDERALIES WORK FOR ME....:lmao::lmao::lmao:

:dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer:

Guess I wasn't real clear with that comment. I didn't mean you wouldn't remember the KK, just that when our family would go through there and stop for doughnuts was probably before your time since that was late 60s/early 70s when I was a little younger.;)

We were in Wilmington in 1994. Seems like I remember the CoP getting killed since my parents are still there, but don't remember any details.

Hijack? Hey, some good KK doughnuts has GOT to be a Dad's thread discussion topic. Mom's are too busy worrying about their weight/figures to join in on that one!:rotfl:

You must have been typing this as I was posting.I am good,just very busy now.This working crap is for the birds!!! I guess my little 2 1/2 month vacation is over( liked it alot better when I could go outside and play in the snow)Like you said now that the weather broke I have tons of work,these wheelchair bound people have been waiting patiently to get in and out of their house .So now you wont see me on here during the days nearly as much.As for this weekend it also was very busy Had a pool tournament on Sat. but we didn't fair to well then Sun I volunteered for serving breakfast at my Elks lodge( proceeds went to the Challenger baseball league).Those that don't know it the challenger league is for kids with disabilities so it is a special cause.Soon our local little league starts so that will cut even more into my Dis time.But what the hey someone needs to step up and volunteer for the kids!

Sorry to hear that Carl, hope everything works out for you to make the December trip.

AND GUYS, I KNOW THIS IS A HIJACK...........GET OVER IT, THE DANCING FEDERALIES WORK FOR ME....:lmao::lmao::lmao:

:dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::banana::dancer:

Uh Oh, the problem with the Federalies being Government employees is that eventually you know there will be a diversity policy.

Carl, hope everything goes well for you wife! Hopefully you can still go on you trip.

Randy...What happen to the Federalies in your post? They look they they needed someone to dance with....

:banana::dancer::banana::dancer::banana::dancer:

(Sorry Fed and Fuzz...I couldn't resist)

Did someone say Doughnuts?????
(everybody dance now... duh...duhduhduh CC Music Factory)

:worship: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

:worship::worship: HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW

Sadly the only way I can get these little bits of Heaven locally is at a convenience store...and they are stale...:sad1: excuse me sniff sniff.

The only KK Store left in bussiness is some 20 miles away in downtown Kingsport. So it is a ritual of mine to seek out a KK when on vacation...and visit it as often as possible.

However there is this one in Pigeon Forge, TN...right next to a KFC...I believe that is one of my favorite spots on earth.

I here that other places make these things called Donuts...I've tried them but they just don't do it like a Doughnut from KK.

Ok, so as I sit here prioritizing my day and need to get tons of junk done before taking off for a few days - I just thought I'd reflect back on our space here today with some more trivial facts - just have to update it once more.

Here's what I posted way back on page 85...on February 19th

Ok here are just a few fun but totally useless trivial facts about our current thread for your Friday reading...

This current thread was created on January 7th

I left for our January trip on the 11th, and we were already up to 18 pages, or an average of 4.5 pages per day

I returned from vacation and posted the next day (January 22nd), and we were up to 38 pages, or 2.5 pages per day since its' inception

Currently we're up to 85 pages, and after 43 days after its' inception, we're now averaging only 1.97 pages per day.

At this rate, if this thread gets locked down at 250 pages it will take us at least until May 13th to fill it up. Or if we're lucky and survive as long as we did with v2.0 - (281 pages) - it'll take us until May 29th. WOW. I thought for sure we'd knock it out of the park by mid April and starting v4.0.

What's up with that guys? We're still quite chatty, yes, but what - you're all letting work get in the way? Sheesh. ;)

Happy Friday guys! Gotta go get some work done I guess...

So since that was posted we've gained 65 pages, in just 18 days. Nice work guys. :lmao: That's an average of 3.61 pages per day - an increase of 83% in our daily output. I like. Good job on the productivity guys - especially Chuck. :lmao:

Our overall daily average since the thread's beginning has been 2.46 pages per day, or and increase of 0.49 pages per day since my last update on February 19 (above). Again, nice overall increase. Good job. :thumbsup2

SOOO - at this rate, if this thread gets locked down at 250 pages, we've only got 100 pages to go, or less than 28 days to fill it up (about April 6th). Or if we're lucky and survive as long as we did with v2.0 - (281 pages) - we've got about 36 days left, or until about April 14th. WOW. That too is a nice productivity improvement over my February 19 post.

AND, if we stay at about this pace, now obviously our pace can and will change, but if we stayed at the same per page count we are currently at through the spring we'll go through v3.0 by about mid-to- late June, v4.0 by about mid-to-late September and finish up v5.0 by late December or early January 2011.

Can you tell yet that I analyze numbers most of my day ...

Have a great day guys! In about an hour I'll be printing out boarding passes for DW and I to fly down tomorrow. As of last night, she still doesn't know where we're headed. Yes! She was asking me about the weather whereever we're going, as she kind of needs to know how to pack. :confused3 I love it. :lmao:

very up set.Got the news a couple days ago that my wife need to have an operation( nothing major just a hysterectomy).But the doc says she will be out of work 4 to 6 wks.She only has 3 days of vaca to use but we are not worried about the other days without pay.Where the problem comes in is she does not know now if she will be able to get the time off in Dec for our trip.:scared1::scared1::scared1:I told her tell them she don't care if its without pay ect.But she is not sure if they will allow it for a vaca or not.Heres hoping for the best should know in a day or two

Carl...hope your wife procedure goes well.

Here's some magic for the extra time in you need for December. pixiedust: :santa: pixiedust:

Yeah, I never get those stale ones at the convenience stores. Always a disappointment.

The best part about KK doughnuts is they are 95% air, especially when they pull them off the line hot for you. A dozen disappears in no time, and you really haven't done any damage to your diet because of the air to calorie ratio.:thumbsup2 They are right up there with that Disney :wizard:

Need to go back to Pigeon Forge soon. KFC fiery grilled wings and hot KK doughnuts for dessert right in the same location?.:banana::banana::banana: Man, the perfect diet; grilled chicken and lots of air. What could be healthier! :yay::woohoo::yay:

So let's talk about Chuck...no antics this morning?:confused:

And is OSHA aware of his "stunt working environment":lmao::lmao::lmao:

You guys are killin' me this morning....I just spit coffee all over my monitor...thanks...:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sounds like its time for you to invest in some of those keyboard condoms! As one of my DIS friends said in another thread, :surfweb: is a dangerous combination!

Maybe so...:lmao:

On another note, there's a thread in the Attractions forum about some guy who left his wife of 20 years and his 11 yo DS for a 20 year old "girl"...

That guy really needs to be dragged behind the bus.......

I know things happen, but I just couldn't even fathom doing that...:confused3

Feel sorry for the 11 yo....he really seems to be taking it rough..

Yes I've heard that before. That's why 2 years ago I lobbied hard to get my title (and my peers in the same role) changed away from Analyst. We won. Now we're Credit Officers. So that way I can call my self a credit cop if I want! Maybe I need one of these with dollar signs or something.... :dancer:

Oh I'm sorry - since you decided not to read back through and just jumped back in pretty much where you were you missed that post back on page 84 (but quoted here)

Well I'm going to just put it out there NOW so I'm not defending it all later on - I will NOT be writing a TR for this upcoming trip, new Man Law or not. Sorry. This next one is a kids-free anniversary trip. Sorry. Not going to share details about this particular trip. Just not gonna happen. I will say now though that we have ADR's at Artist Point, Teppan Edo and Boma. I know we'll get to Artist Point and Boma, not so sure yet about getting over to Epcot - we'll just have to wait and see. We may not even enter a park, not sure yet. Plan on resting, relaxing, boating and hanging out at the resort. Wife loves to read, so we'll probably enjoy those awesome rockers in front of the fireplace for quite a while too, and she just got a new bathing suit for the jacuzzi - so resort-time will be taking the lead for this one.

So you see - there will be NO TR for this getaway. Sure, I might post some generic pics, but that'll be about it.

Oh sorry! Well color me :blush: Can't blame you for not wanting to share details on this trip.

Understand the down time, etc. DW and I did our 25th at HHIR. Understand the no park thought, but we did Teppan Edo last summer and really enjoyed it. We love Boma too.

I guess the really great part about DVC is you don't feel the pressure to hit the parks hard, or at all on every trip. You know you'll be back.
