I saw you have a thread going on Jedi Training. When we were there in Nov we went to the Jedi Training, The best time to be there is when a show is going on, to the right you will notice a roped of area, stay close to the start of the rope, a few minutes after the show someone with a clipboard will go to the start of the line to sign up new recriuts, they ask the child a few ? to make sure they are not afraid to do it,if they put your name on the list, they give the child a robe & saber and you move into the roped area for the next show (about a 30min wait). I used this time to go get fastpasses at the Rock & Roll Rollercoster, while my wife & son were waiting for the show to start.
At the end of the show you had to give back the robe & saber, They give you a certificate saying you have completed Jedi Training etc.

My son had a blast and wants to do it again when we go in Dec.

ok Guys I was just finishing up my reading on some of our Dads TR threads.I saw something over there that made me think.Then I get back here and see something else that made me think even more. OK I will be back later tonight to explain ! I need to go rest all this thinking has worn me out
Ok so I didn't really leave.But here is what I was thinking.Maybe it is time for some of the Dis Dads to hold a position in the DDC.By that I mean.I would like to nominate "Disney Fanatic" as our Pres as he is the founder of the club.Then I would like to nominate Don as our VP as he seems to be our current caretaker.Next on the list would be our trip reporter in which I think Chris ( Stopher1) does such a great job.To support our reporter I think Nick (Daddy-O) would make a great group photographer.Kevin (KTME) could be our information officer.PAUL John (Lawsonsontour) could be our foreign correspondent.I am sure there are many more positions that can be filled ,but off the top of my head theses are what I came up with

Seneca----God's Country (No Tigers)..

I was in Greenwood, down 25 from Greenville

Lived in Greenwood for two years back in the early/mid 70's. Was just there yesterday for DS13's two soccer games. Travelled Hwy 25 for part of the trip.

Grew up in the Low Country.......the part of SC that is really "God's Country!" Loved my short time in Greenwood though. Wish we had stayed longer.

Figured out this morning how long it is until we take our post-Christmas/New Years trip to WDW.......296 DAYS!!!! I was really bummed out until I noticed your counter at 1920 days. I guess mine isn't that far away after all. Let the begin!!!!

Ugh.
It's been a helluva last few days.
I pulled 18 hour days most of last week, getting a post-trial brief completed (final was 132 pages, filed on Friday afternoon). And then, instead of getting a full, relaxing, weekend to recover, DS woke up Sunday morning running a fever, which spiked to 103 at about 3 a.m. this morning.

I had to come here and post, just so I could see my ticker at the bottom of the post and be reminded of what I'm looking forward to and working for.

For any of you guys that are interested in the two new Disney Ships that are being built, the manufacturer has a web cam that is updated weekly showing the Disney Dream being constructed at http://www.meyerwerft.de/page.asp?lang=e&main=2&subs=0&did=826.

Having been around a few ships being built, I am really impressed with the size of the building that they construct these in.

this is the thread for the "Dreams" inaugural cruise and there are a couple of great photos of the progress, and yes I am booked on that cruise if you look at the web cam shot you can see my balcony deck 5 first one aft of the life boat davits!!!
