Thanks you !. Mrs Scouser has got rest times planned in. The unknown factors are the nine hour flight and jet lag !

When DS was 18 months we did Raleigh to London Gatewick (8 hours) , then a another 5 hours to Malta to take him to see the in laws. Other then 35 minutes of crying on the 8 hour flight he was fine there and back. We had bags full of stuff for him to do but the thing that entertained on the flight home was 5 goldfish crackers and two plastic cups, he spent hours moving them back and forth between the cups.

You never know what will entertain a 18 month old.

Hopefully the adrenaline rush of being at Disney will overcome any of the jet lag.

rematch, i won!!! she lifted when rt248 went from 2 lanes to 1 lane!!! i even let her go the faster way and i still got her!!! :lmao:

As long as it's not the Cowboys, it's fine by me.

:lmao: i hear some good news. your coach signed on for another two years and at the last press conf. he said its his call that mcnabb will be the qb.:lmao::lmao: i guess you'll be pouting for atleast another 2 years. :lmao::lmao: if your counting, that would be 52 years w/ out any championship.

Next time you want to get back at her, one of my favorite things is turning down the temp. on the hot water heater. By the time it gets real cold she'll be half way done rushing to get all the soap off and get out of there. The best part is you will get away with it, you go to look at the hot water heater and say the pilot went out:lmao::lmao::woohoo:

Can't quite get my head around the fact I will be going back out to WDW in 5 days

Any words of advice for travelling with an 18mth old boy ?

Do Epcot world showcase , DTD, and Boardwalk at night when your son is sleeping in the stroller. Also you may have to deal with one of the most annoying things when traveling with a small child, people looking at you when the baby is crying, found the best thing to do is when someone shoots the eyes is look at them and say I guess your kid Never cryed, 8 out of 10 times it shuts them down. Good Luck! And have a Great Trip.

Would get caught doing those:scared1: she can be spiteful. 2 years ago on Black Fri, I disabled her van before I went to work, she called AAA to jump her, and of course they couldn't get it started. I got home looked at it, went in and said the ignition wire was loose, all fixed. The money I saved that day:woohoo::banana:

Just make sure if you come across a big x marked on the ground you don't stand on it.
:lmao: Thanks a lot! :lmao:

Here is a question for eveyone as far as booking your Disney vacations. Who do you book through?

We have not been members of AAA during our previous trips and we had problems with the local Disney "expert" travel agent, so we have been doing it ourselves through Disney. Just curious to see what other people do?
We usually book our own trips. We don't tend to go for more than 5 days so the buy four get three free deals don't work for us. We have found discount codes on Mousesavers or have just called down and asked if there were any discounts for a particular week. For our trip this past October, we let DU get us a room, which was great! They also made most of our meal ressies, although I did do a couple on-line to see how it worked. I highly recommend them! We book our own flights, usually SW Airlines out of Philly. Prior to using the ME in October, we usually booked a towncar service. With ME, we probably won't be doing that again.

Dave: where did you have Chinese? You must have been down towards Palmer if you raced back on 248. Mario and Michael would have been proud! :thumbsup2

Just checking in this morning to say hi guys. We're up to day 6 of our 11 day trip. I'm currently sitting on the balcony at AKV looking at a bunch of Ankole Cattle as the sun is slowing rising, waiting on the family to begin waking up.

In case you missed it and some desire to see what we've been up to, (and my own shameless plug) here's my live TR link once more. Talk to ya later.

Heading down to Illinois today for Give a Day, Get a Disney Day volunteering. We made blankets for Project Linus. it looks like a worthwhile cause:
It is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”

None of the volunteer opportunities we could find allowed kids under 6 to help. At least doing it this way, they could help at home. Even if they don't qualify for the promotion, they did get to volunteer.

:lmao: Thanks a lot! :lmao:

the chineese buffet in the walmart shopping center. we go there and franks pizza. whats funny is marios grand father and my grandfather are brothers. both on our mothers side. if you ever read any of his bios he talks about his uncle tony benvegno, thats my moms father. the gas station in nazareth he worked at was my aunts(my moms sister) husband lewie. when my mom and her bros and sisters were alive,we had family reunions and he would stop in. i have pics of him and myself at the last one we had. i was 16. his mother father (rena and gigi) were very nice people also. my grandfather brought them over during the war. they came with what they could carry. they were poor. very poor.they came from montona italy, my grandfather came over years before and during the war, montona was leveled, the lived in a refugee camp for a while. you got to hand it to the guy, he earned every penny he has. nobody handed him anything. they were somthing when they were kids. his brother aldo moved to indy years ago. i only met him one time. thats john andrettis father. so yup, thats were the she lifted came from. thats marios saying, i never lift!!:thumbsup2:lmao:

Well, we certainly got our Disney fix in today. Stopped by the Woodfield Mall in Schamburg (outside of Chicago) today and bought some stuff at the Disney store there and toured the Doorway to Dreams (DVC) store. They currently have a mock up of a Bay Lake 2 bedroom villa in there. DW is seriously considering switching us to there in December! On the way back home, we stopped at the Gurnee Mills Mall for dinner at Rain Forrest Cafe. And as long as we were there, we hit that Disney Store, too. Yup, 3 Disney stores in 1 day. Somehow, I escaped with only dropping $25. :confused3

Bought a few things that were on sale, a few things that were on clearance. If they had a better Men's department (or any Men's department for that matter), I would have spent more! It sure wasn't for the kids' lack of trying, though. Evan did finally settle for adding lots of things to his Christmas list for next year. :cool1:
