So we are a large group heading out on the Disney Treasure in two months. As we are new to DCL we were late to book anything and, of course, Palo brunch was not available. We have a party of four who are interested in going. I am reading to go as soon as we embark and attempt to put our names on a waitlist. We were really hoping to just have time to explore the ship and have lunch when embarking so going to stand in a line isn’t really something people want to do. Is there any other way to get onto a waitlist or is It possible that anything will pop up within a few days of sailing? Your thoughts are most appreciated.

Keep watching, especially as you get closer, as there always is a chance people may cancel. If that does not work out for you there is a time/place for dining changes, It will be noted in the app when you get on at the port. You can just go there to be put on the wait list. The times we have gone the line has never been more than 10-15 minutes tops. It's usually less.

Your options are either periodically checking before you go in case availability opens up, or waiting in line to get on the waitlist once you're on board. There's no other workaround or "hack".

Your chances are much better if you go wherever they are set up to take Palo reservations as soon as possible. We boarded and headed right down and were given a good time slot without having to go onto a wait-list. The early bird catches the worm for sure in this case. A large group could be a challenge to seat.

Tossing out a different option…we did a Wish cruise in October 2025. Palo brunch was only OK, wish I would have ordered something different,

I loved the sit-down option for lunch on the Wish, which was in the 1923 restaurant. Menu and service were excellent.
