DIS Dads The Dis Dad's Club II

Hey Guys I just wanted to give a BIG thak you to one of our fellow members. Tutter (Randy) was able to help Santa this year for my kids and I really appreciate it! This is a great group of guys to be friends with!

How does one join? I've got 4 , 3 girls who are all teens. Luckily one's at college, but while the other two have pitch, honorable daughter #1 gas volume!
For those at WDW over Thanksgiving hearing pitch vs volume, that was us.
And for those suffering sleepovers, I feel for you. Mine are all sleeping at someone else's house tonite!

I have 8 more years before all of mine are in their teens. Sometimes the oldest two will manage to sleep over at friends' houses at the same time. When our youngest DD is old enough we're going to make it a rule that if any of them sleep over, they all have to find somewhere to go! That's the way to do it.

Hey there guys. Sorry I've been MIA for the last 3 weeks or so. I know that I still owe you all a nice trip report from our Nov trip. Hopefully things will slow down a bit and we'll be able to work on it.

A bit of my excuse for going AWOL is that our DD1 (6) who was hit with H1N1 a few weeks back got struck with a case of pneumonia. So of to the Hospital and she was admitted for a couple of days (1 night). DW stayed with her and I took care of the other 2 DDs. She's doing much better now.

Anyway with trying to get ready for the holidays, work has been a bit crazier and I just wrote an exam yesterday (passed ) I haven't had much time for the Dis.

So now that things are settling a bit, I hope to be back a bit more. Now to catch up on 20 pages of posts.

Welcome back, glad to hear DD is feeling better, our kids school was hit with a flu bug that all the teachers are saying was H1N1 and almost half the school was out sick. My older boy was sick but not to the extent of your DD. Congrats on the exam. Don't think we forgot about the TR!

This is a group effort , if you can make it or not your idea counts, since this trip will represent all the Dis Dad's , and if we succeed will most likely become future events that you might be able to attend.

I'm in a dark mood today, Goofy looks pissed off and I can only assume he just beat Pluto with a tennis racket.

Perhaps Mickey owed him some money and wouldn't pay up.

Goofy does look pissed in this pick, maybe Pluto had a sleepover and they wouldn't go to sleep.

Do an attraction that can handle a load of people like the Safari Ride at Animal Kingdom. Also, have a contest at Peaches & Cream to see who can set the record for finishing a "Kitchen Sink."

Yes. The site has a lot of options. For this style of Polo shirt, they have 17 different shirt colors and 57 thread colors for the logo embroidery. It can all be changed on the fly while you "build" your shirt (no need to upload a new logo). Any one who wants a shirt or hat can pick what ever color combination they want.

Hey Guys ~ Has anyone seen the Dole Pineapple Bars in stores? I've checked a couple of our local supermarkets with no luck. I found a frozen Mango bar by someone (not Dole) but it wasn't as good. We'd really like to get some for the house.

Load everyone onto the train in the MK and take a spin around the park! It's not exactly the DIS Dad's Party Bus but it should be able to accomodate everyone. You might be able to get a car to yourselves! Wish we were going! Well, I have a year to convince the DW.

Anyway, here's what I came up with. Working on the "supped up party bus" theme, with a supercharger, flames & Mickey antenna.

The logo should be adaptable enough to go on any item of clothing or hat, yet simple enough to look good as embroidery. The color can be changed, and a username or member number can be added on their site in addition to the logo.

If anyone has any suggestions or requests, let me know. If you want a copy of the file that is high enough resolution for threadsmith.com, let me know that as well and I'll get it to you. They currently are not running any sales promotions, but I should get an email from them when they are.

Is there anyway you could make Goofy the Driver of the Bus? I think that would be cool!

DD(11) had a birthday sleepover last weekend. There were 11 of them here.

You are a brave man and hope you had a lot of to help you get by. DD will turn 8 in January and is asking for sleepover.

We have DS birthday party today, his actual birthday is not until the 27th but we do it early because everyone seems to be so busy around that time of year. The party is at a local arena and we are having a skating party. We have 21 kids confirmed Hopefully I make it out alive.

Your house sounds like ours....daughter was both on 11th and son on 21st of Dec and it seems like everyone is so rushed this time of year so we are trying and combined birthday party next weekend at a local museum that has a lot of hands on stuff for the kids to enjoy. Let me know how your party goes!
