DIS Dads The Dis Dad's Club II

I love NYC this time of year and my list is.

1. Radio City Christmas Spectacular
2. At the end of the night stop at the Marroit Marquis and go to the 8th floor and get a window seat and watch people in Time Square while having a coffe and desert or night cap. It is an awsome view. Sometimes we sit one row away from the window and as soon as a window seat opens we move over. They usually notice and come clean the table off for you.
3. Skating in Bryant Park.
4. Getting a window seat next to the rink at Rockefeller Center for lunch and watch people skate.
5. The tree lighting.
6. Trying new restuants we usually get a great meal that is unforgetable.
7. Nicks or Rangers game.
8. Seeing a show, (I usually enjoy but sometimes I can't wait for it to be over).

Have a geat time.

MiJo - I'm up for a shirt, or a hat. I wear hats on vacation so I don't have to worry about my 'do'. I have a couple of graphic programs that should meet the requirements of the site. I'm not the most creative when it comes to logos though. If you give me an idea I can try to run with it. I kinda doubt we could get away with using a disney character in our logo. The next couple of weeks are going to kinda hectic for me - finals are coming up and I'm waaaaaaayyyyyy behind. I seem to be spending too much time on this awesome message board I found.

I'm jealous. We wanted to go to NYC for our 10th anniv. next April. The Disney trip in May kinda got in the way though. We'll probably try to make it there later in the year.

Alot of the Dis Dads most likely have a minivan (I do), but the 1st thing I think of with a 60 something lime green van would be Cheech & Chong or Scobby Doo. It could be cool if they could put Dis Dads on the side of the van, it would get noticed and show we have a sence of humor

Hey Christian..the Christmas show was fantastic at Radio City. You are right. Tim, missed you at Times Square today! I screamed my head off for you but alas came up empty handed LOL

Tomorrow is the tree lighting.

We got a note today from our social worker that handled our adoptions. She needs to do a surrender in the state of Ohio and needs a safe and confidential place to do it in and wanted to use our house. We said yes. It feels good to know a miracle will happen at home while we are gone!

We got home about 9:40 pm. It is so funny we were right around you.. I wonder how we didn't bump into each other.

We parked on 48th St. at 10:15am. We went to see the tree in Rockefeller Center, the Disney store, had lunch under Rockefeller Center, saw Princess & the Frog, went to the ultimate Disney Experience, ate chocolate in the Hershey's store, rode the ferris wheel in Toys R Us, ate dinner at Carmine's, stopped in the M&Ms store, then got the car about 7:45 and headed home. WHEW now I'm tired.

If you get the chance I highly recommend the lounge on the 8th floor at the Marriot Marquis as a end of day, late night stop. It is a great place to watch the action in Time Square and relax at the same time. Sit by the windows it is a great view. My wife and I make it our last stop almost evry night we are in New York.

Well, it's been busy in South Georgia. Made it home just in time to haul up to Charleston and Myrtle Beach for Thanksgiving..then fight I 95 South home

Spent the first couple of days putting away all my stuff from deployment (where does all this stuff come from?), now working on getting the house ready for Christmas!! (No lights today what with all the Thunderstorms and stuff)...what a busy time to come home!!!

Since I'm off until after the first of the year, the bass are not safe, starting next week

I'm booking my fishing trip at WDW today. I'm going for the Epcot ponds--the bigger fish seem to be lurking there. Plus, fishing at World Showcase before opening is super cool
