For your viewing pleasure, especially those of you who have not been to DL during the Christmas season - here is a sampling of my evening last night. Heavy on It's a Small World Holiday. Normally I'm not a huge IASW fan, though I do ride it, but I AM a huge SW Holiday fan - though I definitely prefer the DL original to the shortened/modified MK version, even with the controverisal additions made to the DL version last year (they added in doll-stylized versions of Disney characters to the respective world areas they are from ... i.e. Alice & Peter Pan in England, Mulan & Mushu in China, Aladdin & Jasmine in the Middle East, etc). The holiday overlay is now in its' 13th season and still going quite strong. If you ever have the opportunity to go to DL between early November & New Year's - take it!!! No other IASW currently gets this overlay.

Very cool pics. I think this might just seal the deal with DW for a trip to the West Coast next Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving guys. Now let's get out there and decorate the house for Christmas today.

How's this for irony: I watched "Christmas Vacation" Friday night and lauged at Chevy struggling with the lights. Then, I set out to decorate my own house yesterday with the best of intentions for a simply application. Lo and behold I ended up having my own Chevy meltdown when I realized how many strands were out! Ugh! 'Tis the season, right?

mijo, at work this morning a huge black benz pulls into our parking lot. a guy gets out and walks into the office, asks me "could you tell me how to get to martin guitar?" so i explained the 3 blocks away and he left. being so close to martin guitar we get alot of celebs looking for the place. the guys ask me who was it? i have no clue but the girl over at 7-11 across the street tells me it was some country singer. i told her hes driving a 100k car,and sams have garmins on sale for $130.

Dave ~ Darius Rucker, former lead singer for Hootie and the Blowfish, did a show at the State Theater with his CW band on Saturday night. It may have been him or someone from his band.

Well, polo shirts run from around $17-$25, including free embroidery. Shipping is probably another $6 or so. It sounds like a logo can be stored on the site so that anyone who may want to order a shirt may use it. I'm not very artistic and I don't have software capable of developing a high resolution graphic so we would need a volunteer if we want a graphic in the logo. That volunteer should check threadsmith.com to read about logos before starting to work on one. I think the graphic must be at least 300 dpi and there are also lettering size requirements that need to be met for a nice looking logo. The graphic of Goofy flipping burgers in DisneyDaddy-O's signature might work if the resolution is high enough and everyone agrees to it. The current sale (40% off) ends tonight so anyone looking to save some dough would have to wait for the next sale. I can post sales when I hear about them. There are different types of polos and a variety of colors to choose from so we may want to at least come up with a color for our club shirt.

that could be!! we see alot of people and i dont know most of them!!! larry holmes, michael and mario andretti are about the only people i can fiqure out when they come in. we hired a new guy last year and l.holmes came in and he went nuts, thats the champ,the champ is here! we just laughed at him,we are use to seeing him. its funny, larry carries a purse with him, big sissy!!!
