Oh yeah - I qualify.

I went to WDW when I was 4 (1980), 12, and then I moved to Tampa in 1995 and lived there for two years (eight trips), moved away and came back in 1998 and compiled only five trips (new dad at this point), and then two more trips since in 2002 and 2004. Preparing for our first on-site visit in a little over a month and, if things go well, we'll make it a yearly trip!

Fwiw, we've had the same blue-camo Mickey antenna ball for the last 8 years with a replacement snowman Mickey antenna ball kept in the door of the car for swapping only when winter rolls around. :)

Hey another Raleigh person! Welcome:yay::yay::yay:

Ha ha...I win...I get to be the first to say WELCOME!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You know, this isn't excatly a fair contest, you've got a bit of an advantage with the time difference... I guess someone has to watch over the board while we sleep, Thanks:worship:

Ys party time does fly by! I had no idea how late it was and it was time to go home. I had to be a bit nasty during the second parade last night to someone. We staked our place out and parked the kids right at the rope and waited for things to get started. Toward the end of the parade when they hand out stuff to the kids some lady puts her grandchildren right in front of my kids who had been there. I got pi$$ed. I did nto use any 4 letter words but I did let her know how rude she was and that she should have gotten there earlier. Maybe it was the heat gettin to me ha ha. I am usually not like that. it was still nearly 90 degrees at 11pm.

You could have used the Stealth Fart Method...surely your kids are immune to it...the others would just pass out. :lmao:

I did not think of that method of battle. Oh well....off to the pool for now!

Well...about finished at work for the week...ready to hit the Corn all weekend.

We have started calling each other by "Indian" Names.

Mine is "Walks with Stick"
Mel is "Mud on Feet"
Jayce (aka Boy) is "Corn Spider"
Chance (aka Tiny) is "Dances with Pigs"

Hey all. Fairly new to the forums. Just saw this thread.

My first trip to WDW was 2001 when I was 25. Went back in 2007. Both times were with my wife's parents. We're looking to go again in June 2010, don't know about the in-laws yet.

DW and I have 3 girls, 10, 7 & 4. Even our dog is a girl. :confused3 :rotfl: When we go to the world I get my fill of princesses! But nothing makes me happier than seeing that thrill on my girl's faces. :thumbsup2

Hey everyone.. we are back from the world. I have one word to describe this trip... HOT!!!!! I hope all the other dads are/were having a great time!!!!:goodvibes

You know, when somebody from around here hits the corn all weekend, it means a big hangover on Monday. :rotfl:

We got back this morning, too, and it was definitely HOT the past week: low 90's and sunny every day! The parks were also a little more crowded than we are used to. It seemed like a lot of Brazilians and Europeans were visiting. We had a great time and I'll post some more info later. Oh yeah, I had my first Dole Whip and Dole Whip Float!:cool1:

Steve: We were in the AK on Wednesday, too. Didn't notice any green hats but it was crowded, although the waits weren't bad. We had lunch in the Yak and Yeti, second floor.

Dave: Have a great time! And, that goes for everyone else down there now. I have to catch up on all the posts I missed.

We are headed home in the am. The plane leaves at 7am from Sanford so we will have to get up at 330 am (that is just ungodly) in order to get there and return the car and through security and stuff like that. It has been a great week. Had dinner at Whispering Canyon this evening and it was a lot of fun.

Mike I can't believe we were even in the same park and did not know it. Dave and I were in MK the same day too and of course no one saw anyone else ha ha.

The next trip will be for Shari and I alone when we head to NYC in December for my birthday! Woohooo!

Welcome. In the same boat, DW, 2 girls (7,5) and girl cat in the house. But, it is well worth it (except for the cat).

Anyway, Steve...Good morning, you should be at the airport right about now...

Welcome to all the new members:cool1::cool1:
