I know the feeling Fed. There are a couple of people that I work with that are big time into Fantasy league. I'm a football fanatic but only have time and energy to keep up with my team and the rest of the NFC East.

I can't seem to remember whats happening with everyone in my own house, much less trying to keep up with the stats of every player in the NFL.

My boss has won his league 5 of the last 7 years. :confused3

If it weren't for the Saturday chore list, I would probably be more into College football than Pro. Just more time to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I am the same way.,...We have had one of the ESPN things for the past several years at work and for the first few eyars I relented and joined in. I even won one year...but...I never did anythng to my team teh whole year...go figure. I had no idea what was going on nor did I have time to keep up with it. Besides....just give me an old fashioned NCAA pickem each week and I would enjoy that much better!

Which reminds me...I need to get on blazernation and make my CUSA picks for this weekend....oh FedFuzz...do you remember that game where Marshall beat you all at home a few years ago?:rotfl2: I just had to bring that up again....:rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Glad we aren't playing you this year, you'd beat us again....:headache::headache:

Pennington was a freak of nature...Leftwich...well, he had a rough run with the Jaguars down here:rolleyes::rolleyes:

As bad as I hate to admit it...we would have a horrible time beating the University of the Sister of the Poor right now. Since Pruett left and Snyder took over the program has been on a downward spiral. I had high hopes when the Marshall movie was out a few years ago that it would be great publicity for us. Well, I guess it was great publicity but we couldn't fight our way out of a wet paper bag so it was a lost opportunity once again. We have a new AD and I am hoping that if we don't start winning this season that he will have the guts to pull the trigger on Snyder and move on. We shall see.

Pennington is a great guy. He is alwasy doing something to help the community here. He donates money with his First and 10 Foundation to my wife's program at the hospital that helps to fight childhood obesicty and heart disease.

Leftwich just has not seemed to find the right fit with the right team. He was not Pennington for sure. That is the type of player that only comes aroudn once in a lifetime.

Moss is another one....he has managed to stay out of trouble for the past few years though so I guess there is always hope ha ha.

I have another requirement to add to the big list:

Just being from a place called Snohomish should qualify you! What a cool name, right up there with Kalamazoo and Frostbite Falls! :thumbsup2

I hope this doesn't get me kicked out of the Disney Dad's Club.... but.... I love that song! Yea Yea I know it does get on a 'few' peoples nerves but when we went for our first trip my DD was in awe in Small World. She still watches a Disney Sing-A-Long video and she dances to Small World.

PLEASE NO FLAMES! LOL:rotfl:

:woohoo: On Honeymoon with DW, the ride got stuck and we were backed to up I can't remember where now. So, I heard to song over and over and over ... Still, we have to visit and ride it every year. DDs (7,5) think its cool that I can sing the words to them -- for now --

Can you sing it in every language? :scratchin

No Flames! Hearing that song makes me realize I'm in the MK but I do kinda get tired of it by the last room! :lmao:

Our plans are: 10/4 ~ Check-in at POFQ and DTD for a late dinner; 10/5 ~ EPCOT; 10/6 ~ MK; 10/7 ~ AK and Bob Jackson at POR in the evening; 10/8 ~ DHS; 10/9 ~ Park Hop; 10/10 ~ Return home (it's over already?!??!! :confused3).

Where you eating at DTD???? We have dinner ressies at Reglan Rd. at 7pm on Sunday. We also will be at MK on Tuesday but we are just going for MNSSHP.

Naah, you're good to go.....it's only a song after all....:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
:lmao::lmao:

Wow.. I can't believe I made it through the weekend without any grief!!!!:rotfl:

we are leaving the 6th but staying in s.car. so we wont get there till the 7th. we go shopping etc. on the 7th and we go to the mk on the 8th. looks like we just miss each other.

We will be at MCO for a 7:15pm flight on the 7th.:sad2: I need a 2 week Disney fix!! LOL

Soooo...anyone else see a conflict with Universal???

:charac4:

Not really a conflict of interest but I see Universal going straight downhill. The only saving grace for them is Harry Potter land. Maybe Disney will be nice and allow them to keep using the toons for a fee. Just kidding, no way they would let that happen. Once whatever agreement is in place with Universal and Marvel is over Disney will kill them.

Our office here has a free ESPN Fantasy Football league.....

I had never done it, and got roped in because they were all crying "we need one more person, it's free, c'mon boss waaa, waaaa":lmao::lmao:

So I relented....told them I don't keep up with this stuff--have no idea what I'm doing, etc. etc....:confused3:confused3:confused3

Draft was today.....lot's of smack talk going on---:scared1:

This is off topic I know...

But the I have decided...for the Record:

I SUCK AT THIS:rotfl::rotfl::lmao::lmao:

I used to put all sorts of time into preparing for the draft, until I realized that all the preparation in the world doesn't help when you draft Tom Brady and he blows out his knee in the first quarter of week 1! :sad2:

You guys are making me jealous. We still have 69 days to departure (71 to arrival at WDW).

Still a bit premature to start packing, but I have the cravings already.

We arrive sometime on Nov 8 (Sunday) and have not scheduled any ADRs to allow for potential weather related delays (we are driving).

Thanks for any insights. I also have a few spreadsheets (yes I'm one of THEM) for finances, for schedules, and for tracking things like DDP credits etc.

Sorry to bring this back from sooooo many pages ago, but when you're offline for a few days, there's a lot to catch up on.

middlepat - have you driven before? What's your plan for driving? I live just north of the "cheese curtain" in Wisconsin, and we're driving in October (we're getting there, it seems, just as everyone else is leaving.) Anyway, we've never driven before, and I'm looking for all the opinions I can get. It will be me, DW, DD4, DD2 and two dogs in the van. Are you taking 57 or 65? I've heard Atlanta can be a nightmare. I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but we leave in 38 days and I'm in last-minute-prep mode.

I love Fantasy Football!!!

I start planning for my DRAFTS in Febuary. Currently in the middle of 2 slow e-mail drafts. I've seen guys that are just "trying it out" whip the tails off of us planners. It all boils down to 98% luck 2% knowledge...but i'm still addicted to it.

Hello Fellas,

I have been away for a little over a week tending to things on the home front and am now back at work. Some of you requested that I give you an update on my Dads condition and here is it. The removal of his brain tumor was successful and he feels better and can think a lot clearer now. The results of the tests came back and he unfortunately has cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade IV is what they call it exactly. The doctors told us this is a very aggressive cancer and his time is limited. (6-24 months with radiation treatments). My Dad being a stubborn European man is stating that he does not want to go for treatments and will live with his decisions. I am hopeful that he will change his mind and go ahead with radiation. I know Trennr has had some experience with this, I was wondering if anyone else has and can tell me about their experiences. Having people to talk to has made this a lot easier to deal with and I would appreciate hearing others stories.

Thanks again for all the well wishes and prayers.

Daddy-O. I'm very sorry to hear this, and I pray that all goes well with your family...

Trennr...I picked Matt Ryan as my QB...how bad did I mess up>?

I moved to ATL a few years back so I can give a quick tip on this part of your drive. Let me know how you are coming into ATL and I will help you out.

Daddy-O you have my continued prayers and support. Thanks for the update. And remember that ultimately what ever your Dad decides to go with or without treatment, we are all here on God's time and not ours.

My FIL had his 2nd Multiple Bypass surgery about 12 years ago and they told him he'd probably live another 4-5 years on his weak and damaged ticker. He's out lived his much younger wife...and is still going...with a tumor which they cannot determine is cancerous or not...and just recovered from a knee replacment.

Fed Fuzz (you should name your team that :thumbsup2 ...or the Iraqi Footie-print Patrol :lmao:)

Matt is a great choice...I drafted him last year as a back-up on 2 teams...he ended up being my #1 QB.

Typically it is the RB's that are important in Fantasy Football...though the trend is headed toward WR's in some scoring formats. Good Luck.

Ditto!! I have been in the same league for 22 years:eek: and there are 3 managers still playing, that actually started up the league 24 years ago. This was a sad year for the league though, it was the first year that the draft was done electronically:( Smack talking is so much better in person.

We don't know yet. We get into MCO around 6:30 PM (10/4) so it depends on how fast we can get to the Magical Express and then to POFQ. If it's after 9:00 PM before we are checked-in, we might eat at the food court; if not, we will probably go to DTD for something. I'm hoping we can be checked-in by 8:30 or so. We never used the ME before so this is new for us. We usually use a towncar service. We have ressies for Raglan Road on Friday evening, the 9th, at 6:00 PM.
For the MK on Tuesday, I'm hoping to have breakfast at Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe; lunch at LTT; and dinner at Trail's End (FW).

DisneyDaddy-O: We'll continue to keep him in our prayers.
