We're still looking at January, but there's a chance I come home a little early so December may not be out completely

I'm now one step closer to Florida this October. Our minivan (2000 Mazda MPV) did not come with a DVD player, so I found a nice pair of RCAs that will each play their own movie, or the same one via A/V cables. The problem is that the power outlet in the van is tied to the ignition, so if you turn the key off - or even from "on" to "start" - the power drops, the players turn off, and we need to mess around with finding where each movie has left off.
Not any more! I just finished up installing two new power ports - one each under the front seats. I wired them directly into the power distribution block just off of the battery so they have constant power. (And one little electrical tip - inline fuses are amazing. I blew one by shorting out one outlet with my tester. Popped a 35 cent fuse rather than an entire electrical system.)
But, if you do happen to notice a red minivan with electrical flames shooting out of the hood - please PM me to let me know.

I've been in a couple of those "wish I hadn't posted that reply" situations before... so now I get in the habit of walking away from the computer for a minute if I'm reading something that gets my goat.

dito, same thing happened to me. i fell for it. some people,if you look at there prev. posts, thats all they do is find a fight or start one. thats why i will put the old so people will know im just kidding,or clownin around. my boss always asks me, why are you always smiling? lifes to short to be a grump!

ha fed fuzz, ive been watchin your count down. hopefully youll get home in december. hopefully its been quit for you. cant wait for more pics. hows the ak doin? i never fired one. one of my god sons is on the toronto police force, (its like our swat team) his wife is also on it. i was busting her one day about her shooting and we made a bet.(who buys diner) well, they took me to there shooting range. needless to say, diner was on me!! she could pick a pea off a 2x4!!! so now im uncle "cant hit a barn door" now!

I've receive 2 infractions myself...one was a few years back on a thread about cartoons you don't let your kids watch...someone had put that they refused to let there kids watch Veggietales. I was like... you got to be kidding me.

I quote replied back about being a little harsh on a bunch of "unarmed" Vegitables (pun intended) and something about learning morals...which is probably why I got dinged. I probably could have been more tackful and a little less sarcastic...but that's just how I roll. Anyway I got dinged for a Minor personal attack and 20 points

Offense 2 happened earlier this year...some lady was whining about her upcoming trip about how this didn't happen and that didn't happen...and i was in a foul mood cause FIL was living with us and it didn't look like we were going anywhere...and here this lady was complaining about a minor detail...well it just hit me wrong and I went off on a sarcastic rant of about 2 sentences. DING 10 point for being argumentative and sarcastic.

Neither offence got me a suspension though.

Well, I'll be home by Christmas regardless...I'm just hoping for a week or two early (every day counts ya know)

I do have to post some more pictures...problem is, I have to burn the pics to a CD in my room, then bring them back to upload into Shutterfly---now, I have internet in my room, but it is slllloooowwwww (but at least I have it). Much easier to do here---but I can't hook a camera up to a gov computer. Which makes no sense seeing as how half of our work involves things like Crime Scene photos, etc.... My brother has been hounding me to put more on Faceboo, but what can I say...I get lazy in the evenings...after my run, I take great pleasure in saving the Brits from certain disaster playing "Blazing Angels, Aces of WWII" on Will...LOL

I just have to get off my behind and do it I guess....It's just too darn hot out there to go take a bunch of pics right now...in about a month, it'll be nice outside, so more will get taken, then posted

Hey DVZCERFS....a fellow SWAT guy, nice That show "Flash Point" is about one of the Canadian SWAT teams, Montreal I think? Never, never, never, never pick with the SWAT chicks--they will hand you your butt in a skinny minute The AK is sitting over in the corner waiting to be taken out with the Iraqi Police again, but they are starting to request us less and less...we'll see...You're facinated with that AK aren't you??

Next time you get to WDW, gimme a shout, I'll see if I can get you on our range with our "toys" at FLETC...or maybe I'll come down with my personal stuff and hit a range somewhere...I've used OCSO before for training.

They did a show about some of our training we go through for our deployments (SOME of it, not all of it). Unfortunately, the guys going through the "Combat Crime Scene" are a tactical disaster, so don't hold it against us--they call it training for a reason. The guy "playing" the USMC Captain works for me.

Also, they follow an ATF Post Blast Investigation class--there's some moron wearing a Black Shirt, NCIS Hat that keeps being asked questions on camera---he's identified as "Michael Lake"...I have no idea who that guy is....he's just some dork they found on the street...LOL

I got to see FedFuzz's pics thanks to DVCzerfs for pointing them out to me ha ha. Great pictures and you really cant grasp what it is like over there from our stand point. I just can't imagine the heat and tight living conditions...we are spoiled here at home! Hang in there FedFuzz....Christmas is just around the corner. I have already seen some decorations goin up in stores....so it has to be close now ha ha

Well from my TR you know I have a mean streak ...squishing kids in the lego store...stomping toes in Philharmagic...breaking rides in Epcot.
