Ok so I described the gym and they think it is theirs - and I have emailed them some of the photos and photos of the family in case they know them and go to that school.

Oh...there is a photo of them at the doubletree guest suites, which was on our ART route....I saw the logo in the background on a room service menu ...I called doubletree and they dont have one reported lost...
Ugh this is frustrating!

I found a photo I skipped - and it was a photo of THEIR disneyland stone in the ground! I went back to that facebook group I found, looked up by last name - AND THERE IS THE MOM!!! WITH A PHOTO - AND ITS HER! She matches! Messaging her now!

Can they check the name of the family with the date you found the card against their records and possibly contact the family directly? You might be able to send the card to the hotel and the hotel forward it to the family in that case. I'm not sure that's something they'd even be willing to do, but it might be worth a shot.

If I don't hear from her I can contact the doubletree with their name and dates of stay and also contact Disneyland and tell them the story.

Great find! You did great! If you call Disneyland Guest Relations, they can locate them with the brick number. They probably won't give you the information, but maybe you could give them your information to give to the family.

Thanks for that. I was searching and trying to help find anything helpful with the information you were sharing and I could not connect anything to Arcadia HS with a tournament on that date. Now we know why.

Oh my, you are such a wonderful, caring, person. Wow, I'm speechless, there are not too many people in the world like you. I can't wait to hear there card is back in the owners hands. I just also want to say you are AMAZING for doing all that detective work! There are so many good people still in this world and this is just proof of it. Even though this has nothing to do with me, I want to say THANK YOU for being such a great person and going to such great lengths for this family. I don't know what made me click on this thread but it was like a good book - I just couldn't stop reading!
