If DD had been a boy her name would have been Gavin but I would have spelled it Gavan, we have this whole AN thing going with the boys names. LOL


I have great potty training tips when the time comes too!! Boys were sooooo much easier to potty train then the girl.

Thanks!! Its the first boy in about 12 years on my side of the family, and first grandchild on his side so I'm pretty sure its gonna be ROTTEN!

We can all celebrate!! Babies are great. My co-workers kid is Aidan. DBF already shot down Declan, and Callum. Gavin was my boy name for DD#2, and someone here at work had a baby and named him that so its out. and I have a cousin named Tristan.

DBF has been stuck on Gibson. So too annoy him Ive been calling him Gibby. That way he would be like the girls who all have the E sound at the end, ly, ie, and leigh. But boys names are hard to come by with that sound and not be common like Corey, Joey, etc.

I'll def need all the boy tips I can get. My best potty training tip will be handing him over to DBF and saying your turn.

Isnt it funny how names get associated with personalities??? My dad had a Logan on his tball team a few years ago, think I was preggers with DD#2 and he swore that if she was a boy and I named her Logan he would disown me.

Rowdy? haha. We told my mom we were naming the baby Rufus. and she just about died. I think we are going to steer clear of R names, because once DBF and I get married we will have the exact same Initials. RMC and so would the baby. Kinda weird.

Jim came home 3 days before I had Megan....his latest was Ima...
I'm a Birch I laughed so hard I got contractions! we didn't name her until after she was born....so we had to have a name while pg....Jim picked Gator for some strange reason!

Well, congrats! Congrats Rachel!!!

DH picked out the boys' first names... I however picked out their middle names... Well, I had their whole names picked out...but he found two boy first names he liked better w/ my middle names...
DD has my initials but backwards and then we added her 2nd middle name after my Granny... We were just discussing that even though we utilize just her one middle name that on all legal documents: diploma, license, marriage certs she MUST use both middle names!

I love Callum!! That was top on our list for DS14, but BFF ended up picking his name.

How about Preston, that's DS10's middle name? I wanted Maximus after the Russell Crowe's Gladiator character but DH shot that one down.

I had a friend named Tyson. It was a cool cowboy name and he lived up to it!! Stetson and all!!

Me too Since my sister already took Ian Patrick for her future kid. Or Kee and match his sisters.

I would be very surprised if he comes in contact with anyone with that name. DD#2 has only met one other Josie in her life. DD#3 i have heard different versions of hers over the last few years but they are never spelled the same.

I haven't actually heard it on a person here either. The judge on all the cake shows on Food Networks name is Keegan Gehard and that kid actor from 10 things I hate about you Andrew Keegan. But that is it. and its something like number 220 on the social security list of names.

DBF is just afraid I will change my mind.
