Well it's a word not a saying...

I picked it because last trip (not the one just gone) it was a question on WHTBAM play it - and the guy in the chair had no idea and the audience got it wrong...

What's a lorry?

I know someone probably already "pipped" me on this one, but a lorry is a truck.

Speaking of tv shows...

Clare, do you know if Little Britain still on your side of the pond? We've been watching on BBC America, but I don't know how far behind they are. That show is funny, though I liked the earlier episodes a bit more than the ones we've had more recently.

I believe they dropped some of the point values for DL (said it was for the 50th, but I wonder if they won't stay where they are).

Just another argument for DVC. If you can't get to WDW, you can always use pts. at DL.

Good to know. Thanks!

Congrats! Yea on your BP. So did you get to go off meds?

Yup. In fact, I never actually started them. I was in the process of starting them when I got ok'd for surgery. My surgeon told me to hold off on the meds for a while until I recovered and we'd take it from there. Do you know how liberating it is to shred a prescription?

All right you guys... You really have made me feel welcome after a very rough week. I am testing the waters right now... but I will keep this handy in case I need it.

Hi all! :wave2:
I see everyone when on a mad posting spree again last night after I logged off! :goodvibes

Tammi, er, Dame Tammi, glad to see the Welcome graphic going to good use!

Kate, sorry about the kiddos. What is croup and how can you tell if he's got it? (Kyle has been coughing off and on since Thanksgiving...)

Amy, yes, DH did go get me Taco Bell :rotfl2: but something tells me if I was pregnant now he wouldn't be so geneorous!!

Claire, I love reading the "English-isms"!
Reminds me of the time DH and I went to Sandals Royal Bahamian ( :earseek: Yes, We actually took a vacation that wasn't to WDW!!!). We met an English couple who was there to be married and they used to laugh hysterically at us for speaking "American."
Anyway, DH and I, the "Brits" (as we affectionately called them) and 3 other couples we met while there would meet up for dinner and then hang out at the piano bar etc. It was right after Christmas so it would get chilly in the evenings. I always wanted to go back to the room after dinner to change from a dress into pants. The English lady would always burst into laughter and correct me, "You mean you want to put on trousers!" I guess pants in the UK means "panties." Anyway, that's my "English" story of the day!!

I made my DVC ressies! Yay for me! Oct. 18-22 at SSR in a studio. I will call back on March 19 and start making ressies for BWV or BCV, if they have room. Or should I just wait until the March 22 when I can make ressies in their entirety.

This DVC stuff is confusing. I'm sure I had the CM aggravated when I couldn't decide to use my pts for this yr, which need to be banked by Jan. 31. We got a use yr of August. So, I had her bank my 200 pts. Then in Aug. we will get another 200 pts. This trip will cost 64 pts. Then I will have 336 pts. left. Did I do the right thing?

Seems like I have a lot of pts. I need to plan another trip on top of this one. Who wants to go somewhere?

I wanna go!! :Pinkbounc Pick me! Pick me!! :teeth:

I think they're repeating season three - they're on episode three - or is that the current series... I don't watch it I'm afraid... don't find it funny...

Yup we call your panties knickers :goodvibes

And here's another one - suspenders are the things that hold up your stockings... not your trousers... we call those braces :goodvibes

Saw this graphic, thought one of you creative designers could use it for a Valentine's themed shirt

Hi Tom! :wave2:

Amy :)

Rosiejo, still alittle over..

i optimized it pretty much.. did check to see if i went to far and made it look diffrent.. posting them together so we can both see..hehe

I think this will get my point across though... People can keep the same pics and they will look exactly the same but the file size will be ALOT smaller..

You want a bigger file size if your going to print the pics..or if you want to make it bigger toput on a shirt and stuff.. but for viewing on the web..its just wasted bandwidth.. as you can't see any diffrence on here :)
(feel free to save the optimized file to your own site)
