Amy I hope you're feeling better.

I have one question... Flatware?? WHat's that?

Flatware is silverware, you know utensils. Wow, one you didn't know. Is it possible? ;)

It was pointed out to me that i should have told people HOW to optimize the pics..hehe that completely skiped my mind!
thanks for the heads up!

Shriva,

I think some of us may be surprised because you haven't posted on the DDA thread since October, and here you are, suddenly pointing out signature issues with us, when many signatures have been like this for months.

If you are truly trying to be helpful, thank you! We've just had a bumpy week, and many of us are emotionally exhausted. :goodvibes

But I do have one question for you, and I ask this in all sincerity. Shouldn't you also change your signature, since it seems you may be addicted again? :flower:

Amy :)

Ooohhh.....I feel like I have been knighted by the Queen. :goodvibes But can a female be knighted? Oh, Clare...what would you call this????

That's what I thought when I saw it - I think girls have to be Dames though... so we should now call you Dame Tammi - Royal Welcomer of the DDA
:goodvibes

Has everyone taken Christmas decorations down? Or did some wait for today (little Christmas)? I always get bummed out taking them down....

Nope, not yet! Waited for little Christmas but I want it all down! This w/e we will put everything away. Then the house looks naked.

Ok, when I posted my 2000th post I suggested that we discuss who's in the Queen's court in my next 2000 posts and much to my surprise I see a court forming. Can I be court Jester? ;) Can I? Can I? Huh? Just kidding of course. I am really enjoying the new and much happier thread.

Shriva, welcome back.

well the reeason i came back and checked the thread..and that lead me to this new board.. is my trip to disneyworld.

I think i will take that pic out of my sig and see how it goes for awhile.
As for the problems over the last few weeks.. i just got back in town wendsday night and came back to this website yesterday.. i have been reading alittle since then and started to see some of what happened.. but i figure since i been gone this whole time it really has nothing to do with me.. so i'm not going to ruin my good after disney mood by reading anymore about it :)

Welcome back! Tell us all about your trip (or do you have a trip report planned for the trip reports board?). I love hearing about people's Disney trips!

Hello everyone -- imagine my surprise this morning when I logged on to see Paul's new signature..... I think its cute!!!

Glad to see everyone is well. Skunka gets Matt on the bus every morning, bus promptly picks him up at the end of the driveway at 8:35. I do see the highschoolers out there very early! I'm just glad the elementary kids don't start so early!!!

Has everyone taken Christmas decorations down? Or did some wait for today (little Christmas)? I always get bummed out taking them down....

I waited 'til today - but haven't done it yet... watching TV and catching up here - maybe when DH gets home at 8pm I'll get up the motivation...

We waited for little Christmas, too. Not that we do anything special for it, but it was important to my grandfather.

I hate putting Christmas away, but we bought a new couch which is gigantic compared to our old one (we didn't bother measuring it in the store, and it didn't look huge there), so I think it's about time for the tree to come down.

I am assuming she is meaning...silverware, cutlery, eating utensils!!

or in Little Mermaid...thing a ma jig

I see! Thank you - like knives and forks. WHenever they sing it in Be Our Guest I think of big silver platters that you serve food on.

Now I know :goodvibes

well we were there 17th-22nd..right before christmas..

It looked like it was going to rain almost every moring but it didn't.
it got upto low 70's everyday.

Little chilly in the morning and afternoons though. (there were still people swimming in the outside pool though..i think it was heated?)

I'm from PA though so chilly was still fine for me..hehe

Wore a light wind breaker like jacket and i was fine the whole day.

we then went to visit my wifes family in alabama from the 22nd till the 4th.. and weather was the same there..so i would guess it would be the same for your trip also..

I hope to take down our tree tonight. DH got all the ornaments off on Wednesday, with only one casualty. Unfortunately, it was a candy dish from my childhood, but I can't let on to him how sad I am about it -- he was really upset that he broke it. Oh well. It's only stuff.

I can't wait to have our living room back! For Christmas, the kids got a Thomas the Train table from my parents and a HUGE ball pit/tunnel set/tent from my in-laws. Both were my idea, and I wanted them both in living room rather than the playroom (since the kids always end up playing in the living room, anyway). But between those 2 things and the tree, there is NO room to walk! I hope it gets better after the tree is out of the way...

The Cats Meow

Is that like the bee's knees? We call them the cat's whiskers...

Means great / attractive

ie - oo look at him in his new suit, think's he's the cat's meow

Am I right??

Heres another

Better than sliced bread

We use that one - "you're the greatest thing since sliced bread" - it's a form of flattery

right outside Mobile Alabama.. we took a ride over to MS and rode along about 10 miles of the beach.. that was something.. 9 out of 10 houses that used to be there are gone.
I have a couple pics i need to check and see if any turned out.. thats hurricane did ALOT of damage and that was almost 100 miles away from new orleans yet.

Its alot diffrent to walk down the street and see it then to just watch it on the news..
