I just got my people magazine and all I have to say is this:

Brad Pitt is full of crap if he wants me to believe the Angelina Jolie had nothing to do with the breakup of his marriage -

Clearly if he got her pregnant less than 9 months from splitting with Jen - she was a factor - you don't end a marriage to someone and say you still love them and respect them and move on THAT quick if there was nothing going on

I TOTALLY agree! It just doesn't work for me.

Whew! Finally caught up! I have to laugh when I get to the end and see my mad posting spree- sorry about that

I know this is not a Disney question, but has anyone come across any good Bob the Builder Clip Art? All this talk about the JoJo party has got me in the mood to start thinking about Kyle's B Day and that's not until June!
Oh well, what do you expect from a crazy lady that is already planning her December Disney trip!

Me too!! And to make matters worse I'm planning a May 2007 trip too! Heck, I've been planning that trip for 5 years. This time I've just told everyone that we're going and I will not let anyone off the hook this time. No one left to get married and no one is allowed to be too pregnant to travel at that time - which shouldn't be an issue, but you never know. Now I just have to get MY hubby to go...party pooper!

Can I add some autograph pages?
I prepared all the pages before we went and had them in a 6x6 album arranged according to groups (Fab 5, Cinderella and everyone from her movie, etc...). Had lots of plain pages in the back, in several colors. Carried the album and about 15 colors of pens in a gallon ziplock in our park bag. Had them sign directly on page and added photos when we got home.

Some done before we left:

And now one I didn't have ready before we left....had her sign on the plain blue paper, and just coordinated picture page when I got home.

It was quite a trip! We ended up getting 56 different autographs that trip. I'd done 40 of the pages before we left, and luckily had taken enough extras for the others. (I have to admit, I did not make pages beforehand for Queen of Hearts and King Louie....but did when I got home!) As you can see, some are more involved than others, but it was lots of fun to do, and I just used scrapping supplies I already had on hand. Now if only any of my other albums were actually done....

TIP: Make sure to put "this book belongs to..." and your name and address somewhere in the book (or any autograph book!). If, heaven forbid, it is lost in the parks, if they find an address in it, Disney will mail it back to you!

My DS.....8 at the time.....was going to miss a week of school for his older step-brothers wedding. The wedding was on a cruise ship and 15 of us were going on the honeymoon with them for a 5 day cruise. I was concerned about him missing school (September) and actually discussed it with the teacher. She said it wasn't a problem that part of learning was going to new places. She suggested for him to do a mini-scrapbook about his trip and report it to the class. Well I have tons of Creative Memories stuff that worked great for us.

Also........our Disney trip 2007 is the first week of school after Christmas break. Now DS9...3rd grade and DS12...7th grade will miss 3 days of school. I am hoping since it is right after Christmas break there will be no test they will miss out on.

Thanks for your reply, I am still thinking about it. Since I took them out this past Oct (3 days) & my kids didn't miss a beat I am very inclined to want to do it again, with the understanding that this will have to be the last time since my oldest will be in 6th grade in 2007. I got so many responses & now they moved my original thread to the community board & it has taken on a life of its own.

Well my friends, let this be a lesson to you. Don't leave your Christmas stockings hanging on the mantel until well into January if you have a curious 5 year old. Christopher stared at his so long he thought Santa came back and left something in it. When he pulled on the stocking the cast iron stocking holder fell off and hit him in the head twice. He has a cut in his scalp and his forehead split and has a little knot. Fortunately the cut on his forehead was very small. Had it been any larger it may have required stitches. It's also fortunate that he's very hard headed . You think I would have learned my lesson after he pulled the last hanger off and broke it.

Here's hoping he's ok, now! I'm so sorry about that!

we are watching the the house of mouse and they just had professor von drake sing a song about where everyone sits at the house of mouse and he mentioned and they showed EVERY disney character under hte sun!!!

Even Walt was in it - when it was over Julia said - Mommy - rewind that (she's a child of tivo) I want to see that again!!!

it has been a while since I posted my pictures so I thought I would so you all could see what I am talking about

the awesome thing about these it that the characters then know my kids names and it is pretty easy to keep track of whose autographs we still need

it is funny when we see a character multiple times and they have already signed - they always seem a little disappointed they don't get to sign!! We get comments from the CM's, the characters, other guests and Julia looks at her books ALL the time - I use them as her trip scrapbook and it is just perfect!!!!

For our quick 4 day trip in May - instead of making the 6x6 pages - I went ahead and made them 4x6 - then I bought her the Happiest Celebration on Earth Princess album and put the cards in before the pictures of the character - again s he loves this book and looks at it all the time - if you think you are not inclined to scrapbook the pictures when you get home - I think this is a great option!!!!!

to make the 6x6 cards - I buy a pack of 12x12 cardstock at Michaels - i wait until they are sale or use the 40% off coupon and then I cut them into 4 6x6 squares.

I have the characters in a word table so then I make a mail merge document and get my words organized - then i merge them into a new document and go through and make sure they are all on the page - the size of the character sometimes causes the words to fall onto the next page and I make any necessary adjustments and then print -

I take a small clipboard that costs less than $1 at the office supplies stores and a bunch of sharpies (Julia and I like to coordinate the character to the color of their outfit - except princesses have to be pink or purple - for example peter pan signs in green - so we always buy the mega pack!!!) and put them in a ziploc baggie - then at night we do take out the ones we already had signed so we don't keep carrying them throughout the week - i also always print blank ones - there always seems to be a rare character we forgot to put in around or thie time the mickey one got wet and we had to have him sign a blank page

Thanks so much Kate. This is great info. I went out this afternoon and bought myself a small clipboard - 97 cents at walmart. I think I'll do the 4x6 size instead of the 6x6. My girls are older (17 & 20) so we usually only have one picture with the characters. If I do decide to actually scrapbook (always intend to but only have 3 12x12 pages done in 6 years), I can put both the picture and autograph on the same page. You'll hear from me if I have problems.

Tammi you have just reminded me - I made an autograph book for our last trip - I created a page for each character with their name written on and then some clip art and maybe the lyrics of a song as the border. It took hours - well I enjoyed the photo impact bit but the printing/cutting out and making the book took so long I nearly didn't bother...

but the characters LOVED it!

I listed them all alphabetically so it was easy to find them and would have the page ready each time. When we went to see flik I couldn't find his page - I was quite confused as I knew I'd done one - the CM saw my book and loved it - I said I could't find flik so I'd just do a photo - but she pulled me to one side and had me find it (the two pages were stuck together) then put us back in front of the line. Flik was GREAT - he kept pointing to the page and then the CM and doing the blushing action - then he would point at hopper (I put associated character clip art on someof the pages) and would quiver with his hands over his eyes!

I got such a buzz when the characters showed they liked my book - and I got more attention than some of the kids in line - so my advice is definitely take a personalised book - it will be so worth it for extra interaction

I'm more than happy to package up my images and email them onto anyone who wants to see - or doesn't have time to make their own

I might take you up on it! My neighbor is taking her family to DL for the first time, and I want to help make it special for her 5 kids. Kate is posting instructions for her autograph books, but if I don't have time (school just started and it's really crazy this semester), I may have you send me yours. this is a picture of Julia's pillowcase - she sleeps with it on her bed now and LOVES it - it went through the washer just fine too!! We used sharpies to have these signed as well!! I do think it was a little harder for them to sign these space wise - so I don't think it would have worked getting a lot of autographs on them -

Thanks again Kate. I feel like a broken record. I hadn't thought about making it a theme. We have a couple of character meals scheduled. My kids love pillow cases. They have 3 or 4 each on their bed. They like to change them regularly. I could make one for each character meal and then not have to carry them all around to get other character signatures.

I love that idea too. I love Disney music. Have since I was a kid. Don't know a lot of the newer ones but I know many from the original movies. We used to go to the drive-in to see them. There is something even more magical about watching a Disney movie on the large drive-in screen.

I've never been able to figure the attraction to BOTH of them. All I ever think of when I hear Angelina's name is the fact that she used to wear a vial of Billy Bob Thornton's blood around her neck. EWWW!

All I picture is Billy Bob & Angelina connected at the lips at some awards show. They were hanging all over each other. They really needed to get a room. Now, she and Brad??!! I hear he has adopted her other kids as well.
