DISNEY'S YULETIDE FANTASY

Almost magically, Walt Disney World Resort transforms into a holiday headquarters complete with millions of sparking lights, larger-than-life Christmas trees and miles of garland. Guests take a behind the scenes peek at that magical transformation in Disney's Yuletide Fantasy, a three-hour journey into the holiday history of Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests take guided tours to theme parks and resort hotels, learning stories about the themes of the Yuletide decorations and how Disney elves transform the parks and hotels into an annual winter wonderland. Disney's Yuletide Fantasy is open to ages 16 and older (guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult), and theme park admission is not required.

The program is $69 per person, NO theme park admission required.

Kate - I figured as much! It's a popular time! I'd call and if it is booked, try to get waitlisted for a studio at least.

Vicki - I think there might be a Yuletide Fantasy Theme park tour going on at that time too if your interested in the decorations. :teeth:

Ok, where would I get details on this?

ETA: Should have finished reading before posting my question. Thanks Heidi. I'll talk to Chuck tonight and we may just add this! It would be cool.

Well, one more night & I'll have finished my Peter & the Starcatchers book. I've really enjoyed it. I was kind of bummed what I could read next that would be similar. Then I saw a thread on the Theme park section. The next book is out. I checked and it is available on amazon.com. It is called Peter & the Shadow Thieves. I hope it is as enjoyable as the one I'm reading.

Well, it started out being just a small, simple affair but with all the enabling going on, it has taken on a life of it's own. :lmao:

Vicki...... did you not know you ARE AN ADDICT!?!?!?!

I think you are the one who needs the 12 step program for your Disney addictions. I took it out of my signature, you should put it in yours.

Chuck got his blood tests back. All of them were negative. We talked to his sister who has a doctorate in nursing. She says these are the bad ones. However, that means we still don't know what is causing the arthritis that showed up in the x-rays. So it sounds like more tests in two weeks.

His knee is feeling better already. It doesn't show any arthritis. We think it was just a side effect of walking funny because of the arthritis in his spine. He has a staple in his knee from when he pulled the ligament away from the bone in a water skiing accident before we were married. That knee is sensitive to weather and other changes.

Chuck changed his meds so that he is taking half at night and half in the morning (specialist told him to do this if he needed to). He was still having quite a bit of pain in the morning. This is the first morning since he changed it and he was much better this morning. I hope that it lasts.

Continued prayers for Chuck.

Lucikly, I didn't say anything to Terra about doing something. Then there could have been real trouble. She's already a little upset with me because I said that we couldn't go ride the horses at Disney World today.

I hate it when things like this happen. I am sorry Terra is unhappy, this will pass.

Chanon, is the schedule you posted earlier for WDW or DL also? Is the DL schedule for 2007 out yet?

Paula - these are still for 2006, but it'll help for planning for next year. (No info on booking for DL yet has been given to us.)
Value:
1/3/06-4/6/06
4/23/06-6/29/06
9/3/06-1/21/06
Regular:
6/30/06-9/2/06
Peak:
4/7/06-4/22/06
11/22/06-11/25/06
12/22/06-1/2/07
All it's telling me is that you can get between 10%-15% off room portion of packages...it's not lining the discount up with the dates...

That Magical Beginnings EMH totally messed up my plan for August. I was hoping to avoid all EMH's. Ugh. I am going to try to shuffle around some ADR's but I think it's too late to get the places & times we wanted. :furious:

I'm sorry to hear that. Somehow (pure luck!) we scheduled just right, and I don't have to worry about those. I think that I am going to try the Magical Beginnings EMH on the day that Bernadette said that she was going to be there. We'll have been to all of the parks by then, and we will have hoppers in case we want to move to a different park later.

Ok, something else I've missed in my not planning phase. What is a magical beginnings EMH?

From the WDW Website:

Thanks Beth. I was just going back to my post to edit it to say I looked it up like I should have in the 1st place. I appreciate you answering it so quickly.

I wasn't on much yesterday, so no you didn't miss an update.

Mom did come home yesterday and she sounded much better, than when I had talked to her just the day befor.
Of course with the flooding, it was a little difficult getting home.
That's good news. :wizard: Hope that she doesn't have anymore health complications from her treatment.

I just wanted to share my "thank you" cards with you! We'll be leaving them with tips!
They definately arn't professional, but still fun and took me forever to find the right program to use so they printed onto business cards!

ToyStory.png

(There are no shadows/lines when printed...no idea why it did that! But you can see it's just a clipart with words! Nothing spectacular, but definately fun!)
I like the green alien one. Very cool.
