Looks like fun was had by all! Thanks for sharing the pics Kate. Amy still doesn't look like she is ready to have a baby anytime! I like that you got something for Alyssa as well. That was something my friends did for Katrina when Becky was born. We didn't have any of the jealousy issues that I've heard so many other people had to deal with from their older children.
Don't know how I missed this. Amy just looks great for being so close to her duedate. :goodvibes It looks like a fun babyshower.

Ok, for those that have went (or are going & have been planning) in December, what are the things that are different for Christmas. Chuck & I want to make sure that we see the things that are different for the holidays. We don't want to plan on many attractions unless they are different for Christmas. We will definitely do POTC because it is new and we can't wait until March. We will do Swiss Family Tree House at night because MK is so beautiful from there at night. So this is what I know.

MK:
MVMCP
Stage show (can't remember the name)

Epcot:
Santas in World Showcase
Candlelight Processional
Illuminations

MGM:
Osborne Lights

Resorts with decorations - which ones? I'm thinking the Polynesian, AKL, CR, and WL for sure. What other ones have the over the top decorations?

What about Fantasmic? Is that different at all. I really enjoy it but don't want to take the time away from the Christmas stuff since we'll be back in March to see it.

We'll see the Electrical Water Pageant & Wishes from the cruise. We may go to MK for Wishes from main street but not sure yet.

What is on your list of "not to miss" for Christmas?

I really got to get moving on the planning for this trip. I still don't have ADR's.
I was so concerned that we might not be able to go that I hated to even look at planning it. However, Chuck is showing much improvement so that I know we can go so time to get in gear.

Go check out the Grand Floridian and also the Boardwalk. They both have some neat holiday decorations. Not that you probably feel like leaving WDW but Celebration has nightly snow (actually its snoap) and some nights they have carolers and things or at least they used to.

Vicki...... did you not know you ARE AN ADDICT!?!?!?!

I think you are the one who needs the 12 step program for your Disney addictions. I took it out of my signature, you should put it in yours.
No you didn't it's still there, just teeny tiny.

I just talked to Amy and she had a good visit with the Dr. today. She's still 2-3 cm dilated. This was her last visit before her induction :cheer2: !

They're still getting unpacked and Kevin's trial is wrapping up. She sounded as good as she looks in the pictures!

Thank you for all the kind words regarding Bill....for those that asked, not sure if it will be pills or injections, we have to go see a specialist first. Now that I am over my initial shock, I am trying to be upbeat for him because right now he's pretty negative.

Thanks again!! You guys are a GREAT group!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

Kristine
:grouphug: You both will feel better after meeting with the specialist. Until then the uknown can be depressing and even scary. :wizard: prayers for both of you in dealing with this.

There's a bench with all those honeypots. Now if noone minds looking silly we always get a picture of us in the monkey or wild animal cage on Casey Jr There's also the wishing well.

Any of those are good, what about Snow White wishing well? We all always wish we could be at Disney.

That would be a good no, butBethie helped to ensure she would be the last. On her way out she pulled a few things with her and they had to be removed later because of it.
But that isa good one.

I do too! And even worse, I was told that we had it off and then just today that was retracted. Several people had misread an email. So...now I'm stuck coming in. :sad2:
:badpc: How can they retract it after everyone might have plans?

What about a pair of earrings?
I gave m mother a poem in a frame and DH did the same. I don't know where the poem is, but if I find it I will send it to you.
As far as favors go, they can be anything form candles to candy to candy covered almonds in tule.
Has Minnie even looked at a bridal magazine? Is she registered for gifts? How am I to send something if I don't know what they need or want?
Does she have a checklist yet? This is not a fly by night operation is it? :rotfl:
I think a lot of people do some kind of sweet for favors. The most unusual was a tree sapling? It died on the drive home as it was hard to keep watered and hold for a 2 day drive. The idea was for us to plant it in our yard and think of them every time we saw it. Of course, this was DH's business partner (who for various reasons I dislike immensely). For our wedding favors we gave out little red boxes with our date and names engraved in green with peppermint fudge (I made) in it. I usually end up making about 5 dif. kinds of fudge for the holidays. My sister one year decided to make my pep. fudge for our parents since she was going to be there. The recipe must have been hard to follow cause she said it tasted wrong. :confused3
As for parent's gifts I have never heard of this. We gave the moms a flower during the ceremony but no gifts. That must be why my IL's don't like me. ;) :rotfl:

Our library gives out caterpillars to any child who is interested in butterflies...today, Kirsten's butterfly made its debut!! We had a lot of fun watching this process...2 more to go!
