Just a fly by post.

Update on my transfer.
I didn't get the it.
Reason being all our Lexford division sold yesterday.
I didn't want to also transfer companies.
So back to looking at job postings in my field.

Not happy we won't be moving.
I'm happy to be staying with my company.
I will just have to keep looking.

I can't say thank you all enough for your good wishes.

my plans work fri, sat, off sun work mon, tues. off wed. pack for a trip to waco to see my DFIL. will leave wed. afternoon once Jeff is off work. be thier thur and fri. Next thur. will be a little hard on me, Jeff and his Dad. It will be the one year annivesary of the death of his mom. thus the reason for the trip to waco to see his dad. We will go to the cemetary and place flowers on her grave.

Duh I meant bird seed that is what we did at our wedding. actually we did both bird seed and bubbles.

Invitations are you going to mail one to all the dda's or Post it here. You could just PM the Invite to everyone.

I don't think I'm going to carry both bird seed & bubbles to Disney & then to the Contemporary for the wedding! As it is, you should see everything that Minnie wants me to haul to the wedding. She wants her outfit for dinner with Stepanie & Kevin. Then change into her wedding dress. Then change into a pirate outfit. Then change into her going away outfit. I've told her I think they need to wear their going away outfit for dinner but I haven't convinced her yet plus I told her she is only getting a bandana and patch for the cruise. However, then she says she needs a custom pirate tee and jeans for the cruise.

Plus I need something to play the music and a bible for the ceremony. Minnie wants me to get a cake and bring her cake toppers for it. I told her there is a reception for those going on the cruise but she doesn't know if that is good enough because there are some attending the wedding that aren't going on the cruise.

Sending the invitation by pm??!!! Now that would be cheap! What are you thinking? Mickey & Minnie are anything but cheap plus we want to make sure that everyone knows that they are truly married. Of course, they'll have to be mailing out official invitations to all of their DDA friends. I've already bought the Disney romance stamps for the envelopes. Still need to get the invitation designed. Any volunteers?

I'm wondering what Terry has planned for Tommy for the 4th of July. That was her one request. She really wanted to have a Pal there for the 4th. With all that she does on a daily basis, I'm expecting something really amazing on the 4th.

Possibly going to see a concert with the concert band my DH plays with. Lots of good rousing marches.

Not sure about watching fireworks. MTM has not told me if wants to see them. They will just not compare with what WDW does

to help you get through this difficult anniversary of her loss. That was a very tough one for us after we lost my dad.

I know that some of the wedding invitations catalogs sell cinderella invitations. Maybe we can do cinderella or her coach with something along the lines of fairy tales come true.

I was just over on the restaurant board (researching for my trip) and Kate had posted yesterday on a thread about the Garden Grill. Her post count read 8000! I wonder where she posted her 8000th post? Oh, Kate - no celebration post on here?

Well, he always says Hi to the Seniors and they love checking out what he has on to wear. He loves watching people come and go from my desk. Otherwise last night he was content to stay inside since it was really raining hard. We did watch "Air Bud:World Pup" on the Disney channel and he really liked it. Plus he gets a kick out of watching the cats.

In fact, he wanted to get down to their level so he asked me to prop him up so he could watch them eat.

So what is everyones plans for the forth of July?

We are going to a Lions parade on Saturday. I know nothing about it, but am curios as to whether it will be as long as the 5+ hour Shriners parade a few years ago. We may go see fireworks on Monday night and will definitely do so in town on Tuesday night. I would really love to go to the big Boston festivities on Tuesday especially since it is our last one here, but I know that it would freak Phil out - crowds are not his thing and he would worry about us being by ourselves. Luckily, ours in Salem are pretty decent and they have kids activities and a concert before hand as well.

Busy week here & I am very behind with the posts.

Hope anyone affected by the recent flooding are o.k...June I was thinking of you when I heard some counties upstate were evacuated.

Anyone needed extra pixie dust & prayers..here is some for you..

Katie started volleyball camp this week..so far she loves it. That is saying something as she is not very "sporty"..glad she has found a sport she likes (finally!)

I have been busy planning our family birthday party for Dan on Sunday...all baseball of course. I made white chocolate covered oreos & the painted on a red baseball seam so they look like little baseballs. Milk chocolate covered big pretzel sticks are the bats..also did some baseball gloves from chocolate molds. Just have to make a baseball cake & dessert is done. We are catering in chinese food..never did that before so it will make a nice change.

Hoping for a calm 4th of July...however I think I will end up at my MIL's.

Bill's doctor just called...he had his yearly exam last week. Anyway, I guess he is diabetic! I of course am freaking out!! I guess we have to go see a specialist and start the process with them..I feel totally clueless.

I'd appreciate if you guys could throw a few good thoughts our way...

I think you are right. I'm probably going to need some kind of bracelets. Maybe I can make some beaded ones with a saying on them. I'll have to look.

We don't throw rice anymore because it is bad for the animals to eat it (or at least that is what my family has heard). I was thinking we'd throw bird seed but I like the blowing bubbles better. I think the kids that are attending would enjoy that. The ceremony will be at the Contemporary (out on the grounds probably). Oh, I forgot about the music. I'll have to work on that. I wonder if I can download the wedding march from the internet? I'm still working on Chuck to walk the bride down the aisle. Haven't convinced him yet. Still working on it though.

What else do I have to add to my list? I've got it started now!

I am sure my girls, when I tell them about Aunt Vicki's crazy plan, would love to make the bracelets. We even have the supplies to do it!!
