I'm not a big one to ask for it, but I could use some prayers and for a big decision I'm trying to make with my career. My manager is talking to me about switching my role, and I'm just not sure what to do. Frankly, I'm not sure if they are humoring me and letting me think I have a choice in the matter, or if they are just going to switch my job in the end regardless of what I want. I can see the benefit to the company if I take the new job, but I'm having a hard time seeing the benefit to me and my career. I also don't see the next step for me if I "take one for the team" and take the role. So I'm really not sure what to do.

I could use all the and anyone can spare. I probably need to make a decision by the end of the month. Sigh and double sigh.

Welcome back! Many prayers and for your career decision. I hope that the choice is really yours and I pray for the wisdom to make the right choice. Just do what is best for you, your career and your family and everything will work out, I know.

Anyone else having allegy issues? I have had post nasal drip, scratchy eyes and a bit of a sore throat for 2 days now and Claritin isn't helping. Whatever it is I hope it passes soon. I just don't feel my perky self

Deb that sounds like fun!! Enjoy "school". Do the kids get to meet their teacher for next year? That's what the elementary school Abi is at does on the last day of school.

WOW. I wish we found out our teachers this early. We don't find out until the week before school starts in the fall.

Per Glynis (tee hee) I guess it's time to get off my duff and start planning the DL meet in 2007. So here again is the list of what everyone said so far.
I see that Feb, Mar and Sep are the months most people can go. (did I miss anything?) With that said, I am putting the list out one last time for anyone to make a plea for any other month. On Monday I will post the list and we will take it down to the few months with the most names. Then we will vote for the month (of the few) that works best for the most people. After the vote, I will start the planning process.

I've caught up and now need to get my butt in gear. It's the last day of school The boys get out at Noon. Since they aren't doing anything academic today, I think Colby and I are going in early to "play" at school too. Colby loves to go into Hunter's classroom and the teacher loves to have us so we might as well take advantage. Anyone else having allegy issues?
