Doesn't that feel great to do sometimes!? Don't you wish we could do it all the time and actually get the recommended sleep we are supposed to?!

Kate - Here's hoping it's just a faulty test :grouphug: pixiedust:

I've caught up and now need to get my butt in gear. It's the last day of school :cool1: The boys get out at Noon. Since they aren't doing anything academic today, I think Colby and I are going in early to "play" at school too. Colby loves to go into Hunter's classroom and the teacher loves to have us so we might as well take advantage. Anyone else having allegy issues? I have had post nasal drip, scratchy eyes and a bit of a sore throat for 2 days now and Claritin isn't helping. Whatever it is I hope it passes soon. I just don't feel my perky self :confused3

Deb

Molly's allergies are in full swing and she cannot get any relief. Her ped switched her about 3 weeks ago to Clarinex and it seemed to work for a while but she has another sinus infection. The dr mentioned that once the grass dries up from the heat is when we will notice her feeling better. She is miserable and usually by mid/late afternoon is just out of it. I hope that you get some relief soon.

Hi! I'm sorry I've fallen behind on sending lots of :wizard: and :grouphug: and :cheer2: to all my DDA friends and your families!

Pregnancy-wise everything is fine. All those weird feelings I had last Sunday have passed. My next doctor's appointment is June 22nd.

Everything else is just hectic though. I am trying to adjust to our new schedule that includes swimming lessons every morning at 10:35 a.m. for the next three weeks. We've "survived" three days and let me just say my two-year-old spends the entire half-hour crying. I'm thinking it's because the water is pretty chilly that early in the morning, and I'm hoping if I just stick with it, she's going to come around at some point. It's a "parent and baby" class, so she's with me the whole time...she's just miserable.

Kevin has had a pretty busy work-week thus far, and when he gets home, he's trying to take care of maintaining both yards, painting the nursery, etc. I feel bad that I can't help him more, and I know he misses spending time with us. Last night, I ended up taking Alyssa to the local aquarium with one of my friends and her three kiddos. I feel guilty that we're out having fun, but I'd go crazy if I just hung around the house all night.

Thanks for all your compliments on the pictures I posted over the weekend. Here's another one from last night. Kate, that dress should look familiar! I thought it was an appropriate outfit for the aquarium. :teeth:

Thinking of you all! Thanks to Dawn and Paula for your awesome synopsis and acknowledgement of EVERYONE! :thumbsup2

And before I go, here's some more :wizard: and :grouphug: and :cheer2: for you all!

Amy :)

Glad to know that you are feeling better. Molly hated the pool last year and did cried everytime she went in the pool. I think her thing was that she didn't feel "normal" in the water. We are planning on lessons next year. I hope that she gets better. Emma on the other hand has loved the pool/ocean since she was born.

I love Alyssa's dress!

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

I feel better now!

The doctor just called - Nick's heartbeat was fine - but there was an irregularity in the test that was either caused by a test lead being in the wrong position or an enlarge heart chamber! He is our regular doctor but not the one who ordered the test - so he is going to leave it up to her on if we should have the test repeated or not - *** - the hospital offered to repeat it at no charge to the customer - why wouldn't I get it repeated?!?!!?!?

He is very laid back - which is nice b/c he isn't an alarmist - BUT he also is slow to action - I never go see him when I want action taken (such as getting tubes for Julia etc) I love him and my kids love him and he stops me from freaking out about things but there are times I wish he would act a little faster.

I am sure the other doctor will have us repeat the test - so I guess I am going to be playing the waiting game a little bit longer!!!

Sorry that the test didn't give you the answers. Here's :wizard: that when it is done again Nick will do as great as he did the first time.

Can't wait to see them.

Molly loves her knockoffs so much they are all she wears. She won't let her sneakers near her feet anymore!

My boys decided they needed some after their cousin got some. Of course, they didn't want them because I got some. They have green and black.

I have hot pink, purple and orange, with a pair or airwalk red, white and blue in the mail to me.

Please do post a picture!

Kate -- prayers and PD for Nick, and the same to you. That is so incredibly frustrating! Why don't they go ahead and schedule one immediately, instead of waiting around? It's free, didn't seem to bother Nick to do it, and will set your mind at rest. When my kids are involved, I want immediate action, but it seems like things never move fast enough!

Now that I am caught up, I need to vent so don't feel obligated to listen but I got to get this out as if I try to talk to Eric he just gets upset and it isn't good.

We were told about 3 months ago that come July 1st he would be getting a significant merit increase in his paycheck (more than 10%) along with a Cost of Living. Well today he comes home and tells me that it is only the cost of living which is a whole $52 more a month. Now of course our insurance will go up so it will end up being about $20/month! I am so PO'd right now as he has not had any merit increase in his salary in the last 8 years and we have only had the Cost of living the past 2 or 3. He works for the University of MD which is has been in a budget crunch for ever! Eric cannot understand why I am so ticked off as there really isn't anything he can do. We have certainly thought about looking elsewhere for a new job but the benefits of this one are too good. Free college for us and the girls, not to mention he has a work vehicle so no use of our car back and forth. Free cell phone and numerous other little things. I just feel that we will never get ahead. Not to mention he busts his but for the job and it seems as if he just gets the short end of the stick.

Thanks for letting me get that out!
