Hi everyone!
just spent awhile catching up...i know i am not going to remember everyone, but ill try :)

Amy and Denise--The pictures of the kids are adorable!!!

Welcome back Jennifer--glad you enjoyed your cruise and congrats on the house!

Tammi-I am so sorry!

Vicki-Hope Chuck starts to feel better soon!

I had a great weekend--I babysat Friday and Saturday and had alot of fun...I went to visit a DISer (Kimwim8) today! we had a great time..I saw Cars, which i thought was cute, but i also felt it was long.
I just finished my brother's birthday present--I made a frame using pictures of him and alyssa..I will try to get a picture of it to post..I am going to make a similar one for my room, too.
I have a huge science test tomorrow as well as a speech..Then Tuesday, im going to the ENT to find out if i need surgery for my sinus problems..If you all could spare some good thoughts, id really appreciate it!

Well, time for bed, hopefully i can come here more this week!

Forgive me if I am missing anyone, I have a bugger of a cold and have had a hugely busy day:

Vicki: I hope Chuck gets the help he needs and fast!!!

Jennifer: So glad you got back safely and the closing went well, but a week without regular internet? How are you going to survive?

Amy: Once again Alyssa is a cutie. Cassidy and Abi both gave me clues as to when they were coming...listen to those Matthew cues and I bet we will be "seeing" Matthew shortly!!

Denise: Your babies are so sweet...I think the smiles keep getting bigger and bigger. Cool bikes!! Your idea for your room at school sounds awesome!!

I went to the roast where we were packed in like sardines,no air conditioning and my guess 90+ weather. Then Abi and I went and painted pottery, went into a book store, and had supper. I think we shared a fun afternoon and a cold...I don't think I've had one this late in the spring and it's no fun!!

A question...

I posted this over on the UK board but would welcome your inputs too :)

As you know we're off to the World in November this year and I really want to upgrade our MYW tix to APs... which means we get to go again in 2007, but can't go during our fave time - the first two weeks of November.

So... when should we go?

Tell me your favourite time of year for a visit... what the crowds are like... and the weather... and why it's your favourite time.

We'll probably be doing 10-12 nights and most likely staying off property but that's up for discussion...

Can't wait to hear your suggestions :)

Late April, early May. Great weather. Low crowds. Most of the attractions are open. I just love May....

Amy -- love the newest pictures of Alyssa. I hope the swimming lessons go well tomorrow!

Kate is right, our weather is crappy, but we finally had a decent open house!

Our realtor said that three couples came through. One couple seemed very interested and they actually came back with their own agent! Of course, I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but that sounds promising!

Meanwhile, I've just been feeling very weird. I keep telling Kevin that we need to be prepared for Matthew to arrive any day. I can't even pinpoint specific reasons for this...it's just a gut feeling. Part of me wants to be wrong (we are so not ready for him yet :goodvibes ) but the rest of me wants all the uncomfortable aspects of pregnancy behind me!

Amy :)

Come on Matthew!!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes You'll be ready

Jen, here's some pixiedust: for you regarding your sinus problems. Hope you get the answers you want and it helps solve the problem.

Evening everyone,

Denise - the picture of the kids on their bikes is great, it's amazing how well Rees is doing!

Debbie,

I don't know if you know, but all of my family lives in MS. My DH, brother, BIL, and both SIL are MS State grads. My brother is a partner in one of the 2 largest construction companies in MS. They have the giant cranes and built the casinos in Biloxi, the additions to the State and Ole Miss stadiums, etc. He has been on the coast almost 100% since the hurricane doing demolition and now starting to rebuild. He sends me pics all the time. It is just devastating. Just wanted you to know that even though I'm not in MS anymore, my heart is there with all of you who are trying to rebuild your lives. Hugs to you.

Denise, I just realized that there was a "special present" in that box of stuff that I sent to you for your Pal Mickey and I don't remember you ever commenting on it. It was especially for you though. Let me know when you figure out what it is. You'll have to tell the kids that it is yours. :lmao:

Oh,no. You'll have to tell me so I can start searching. The kids grabbed the box and took it all! I'm so sorry.

And I sure hope that the Celebrex starts working for Chuck. I'm so sorry he's feeling bad.

Aha! Just realized what it is. The turtle keychain!!!!!!!!!!! It's adorable. Davis took it and has carried in his pocket non-stop. He loves it.

That was very appropriate for me, esp since I just gave John some Turtle Time...

Thanks to everyone for the sweet comments about my kiddos. They love those new bikes. This am they woke up and ran to the garage to tell them good morning. Tonight they gave the bikes a kiss goodnight. And they are doing a really good job riding them. I can't believe they turn 6 a week from Friday. What happened to my babies??? Oh, well. Now I've got awesome "big kids" to have fun with!

The one thing I want you to do tomorrow is to find the "sharky" lawyer, the divorce lawyer whose name creates fear in the marrow of all who hear it, and get him/her on retainer. Tommorrow. There is no way you want to kisk the chance of this lawyer being the one John retains.
I have been reading along off and on all evening, and this is the one thing that I needed to comment on. Steffy, I know you are dead serious, but I have to tell you, they way you put it into words made me :rotfl: .

Thank you to everyone for all the prayers, words of advice, comments and PMs. It truly means a lot to me, and it is quite a stress reliever to be able to come here. :goodvibes

I'm sorry that I haven't had much to say, but hugs, prayers, congratulations, welcome home, nice designs, PD, get well, and great pictures!! :teeth:

Knew you'd figure it out! You can let Davis keep it in his pocket as long as you know that it was bought especially for you!!!!! :lmao:

I may have to borrow it back and put my keys on it. That way I can smile every time I see it and think of you and the DDA!

Hmmm. I don't know if I thought this out real well. I'm not sure how I feel about you thinking about me and the DDA every time you look at a turtle!!!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

The girls at work gave me TURTLE soap and several other turtle things. I told them about y'all and the turtle joke, so now I get kidded about it everywhere. I think the turtle will be my mascot. Maybe I should get a turtle tatoo?

That would be too funny!!!!!

How bad is it that I need to go to bed but I want to keep reading the DDA thread?

Denise get a turtle tattoo!! I think it would be cool!!

Katrina called me about two weeks ago and said "Mom, you aren't going to believe what I found at work!" She works at Payless Shoes (about two weeks now). She was at work in the mall and one of the other girls asked her to come over to look at something on the floor. She gets over there and it is a ......

are you ready for it???? ........................................

baby turtle! They have no idea how it got in the store in the middle of the mall in the middle of a huge parking lot. It is the cutest little thing.

ETA: For those of you that might not know this, my DD loves turtles (not the kind Denise likes). Katrina practically has a shrine to them. She also has a live, large turtle that lives at home with us while she is off at school.
