I'm still trying to catch up.

Tia-I had requested Toy Story or Dalmation last Aug and we got Love Bug. We ended up loving it. We were in the back on the top floor but very close to the elevator. It was a super quiet spot and not a bad walk to the food court. Joe really loved the Herbie in the buildings and the winner's circle was fun too. Now Joe loves the old Herbie movies.

Was this your trip alone with Joe? How did you feel going all the way back there? With it just being me and Terra, I usually prefer something in the middle of the action, just because it makes me feel a little better. Plus, I KNOW that Phil worries if we are too secluded/out of sight/etc when travelling by ourselves.

Agh! I have 1 month, 3 weeks til Disney & I haven't gotten my shirts together!!! I was so organized last year..had the shirts made months in advance..Have to decide which ones the kids want me to make..DH says he is not wearing any this time. ..hey he did it once..that's all I could ask for.

Get with it girl! Oh and can I fit in on of your bags? I just need a little fix.

Well, I've gotten caught up on reading. I'm going to try to sneak in a little reading at work tomorrow, but probably won't post. I'm off on a camping trip for the weekend tomorrow afternoon. Well my Mom & girls are winging their way home! They got on their flight at 4am CST. They are supposed to arrive in Chicago at 4pm CST. They'll be back in the UP at 7:30 CST.

They got to ride the subway yesterday before they left. Also, got to spend time in downtown Tokyo. They both thought it was really cool.

Sure! Only condition is you have to wear the tee-shirts I make for my DH that he won't wear!

Maybe you can do some of the themed designs like the squares that Julia made and some of the frames that others did. That way they have a similar design but they are still different. You could even do different colored shirts because the frames would make them "match".

Yea, that what's I was thinking...Except i will stick to white shirts..I think with the squares design you have to cut out each square if it's going on a colored shirt.(I think?)

Anyone know if there is a goth or punk Mickey clip art design out there?
I know, I know...but if thats what it takes to get my 10 year old in a mickey shirt then I'll do it.

I booked our room for my ds 13th birthday in Jan. I am a little worried about flight prices. I checked airtran & right now flights are over $300 each way I know I have awhile, so hopefully they will come down. If not I told ds we would not be able to go, so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Wow! $300 pp rt is alot!!! You'd think it would be less since it's January! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Would driving be out of the possibility?
I am already "working" on my DH for summer 2007 & I mentioned that if $ was too tight (we have my DS's communion in the spring of 2007) that maybe we could drive & do the family suites or POR again. Fingers crossed!!!!

That's what we figured! Although the DH did say "Do you like Disney World then? We've never been, but I think they're pretty much the same right?"

Not saying either is better than the other by any means, becuase obviously you have the whole Walt's park, original thing going for DL that probably can't be "beat" (if it were a competition that is ), but only the MK really even resembles the Land, I think! I told them they'd just have to go, make sure they leave plenty of time, and then find very different (and also very similar) qualities between the two parks! I think they thought I was nuts

Well, unless you frequent these boards, I'm sure that most people think that DL and WDW are "the same". I was amazed when I started lurking here at the differences. It didn't make me like DL any less, but it sure made me want to visit WDW at least once in my life. After being here for a while, I learned the importance of planning for WDW differently than planning for DL.
