Well, the dress & accessories are bought. I need to get the dress altered to fit her better. Mickey already has his tux. I got to figure out what we are doing for rings. Any ideas? They have their going away outfits to wear. However, Mickey & Minnie have told me that they think they should have something with a pirate theme for the Wishes cruise because the theme of is pirates. I think they will have to live with a bandana and patch on their eye.

We need to get all the attendants figured out. I know that Stephanie has an idea for the best man and maid of honor but don't know what that idea is. We need a flower girl & ring bearer. We need a justice of the peace. I need to find the words to the wedding ceremony for the justice of the peace to read. What other attendants are necessary?

I have to get photographer lined up and someone to take the official video so that we can share it with the DDA upon our return.

I'm working on the invitations to be sent out. I really need to get a list put together on everything that I need to do. I mean after all I only have 5 months.

Aren't you sorry you asked??!! :lmao:

you need help!!!!!!!

Keep up the good work, I love it.

I could pm you the words we had at our Disney wedding... it was quite long but you could cut some bits out to make it shorter...

I just booked my mom's airline ticket for October on our flight, so it is official, she is going. :Pinkbounc John's ticket was non-transferable/non-refundable so he has a credit with the airline.

Thanks, Chanon, with your help on this.
:cheer2: Glad you were able to get her on your flight.

The stuffy skins are twice as much as what they are in the store on eBay. Don't even look. They aren't worth it.
:scared1: You're kidding. Twice as much.
I am willing to pick up the skins (or stuff them if you want) for anyone who wants some. I will be leaving in a week from Sat. I won't even charge a shopping fee. ;) Seriously though I would be glad to help anyone out. :)

Geocaching is so much fun! We have found so many new, neat places that we didn't know existed in areas that we've been many times. I really enjoy it. If you are ever interested, let me know and I'm happy to share more info. It just takes a GPS.
Thanks. I would love some info. when we get back from our trip. :goodvibes

Tammi - Alyssa looks gorgeous - Juloia has started asking about getting her ears piercd - I have to make a decision

Jen - congrats on the new job!!

Vicki - if you get the urge to google - pm me instead - I am doing everything I can not to google about Nick - and it is really hard

that is why I booked Disneyland yesterday and why I am probably going to book a trip to WDW today and maybe even a vacation next summer (not to WdW :faint:)

I am going full swing into cruise and DL research - I just need to occupy my time - I told Steve that it is completely possible that we will have 20 vacations planned by July 10!!!!!

Thanks Kate. I will take you up on that. I understand what you mean about planning your vacations. That is why I've been on eBay shopping, spending lots of time on this board, etc. Trying to keep my mind occupied so that I don't think about what "could" be wrong with Chuck and what it means to our future. I went & worked with one of my staff yesterday because I figured it was better than trying to do paperwork which doesn't keep my mind occupied enough. I think I'll go off and work with another one today.

I took Nick and got his hair buzzed yesterday - I love it but he looks so old to me now!!!!

this picture isn't great b/c he was eating crackers and really would have preferred to show you all the chewed crackers in his mouth than his smile!!!

He does look older. But at least he's still a cutie. :goodvibes

Poor thing! I hope that everything will heal quickly and nicely. If they haven't already put on a waterproof cast do a google search about covers. I know there are a few out there that go over the cast to protect it for swimming, showering, etc. It might be worth it for a little dolphin like yours! :wizard: that he is feeling okay.
Well the dr. didn't have waterproof casts. :confused3 so DH came home with him in a regular cast. :sad2: Thankfully someone posted a couple places that have cast covers, so going to look into these. Hopefully we can find one that works. :)

I've been wracking my brain to and can't come up with anything either. The only statues other than the Partners that I can really think of are the Bug's Life characters in DCA. Oh and there's the Dumbo ride vehicle outside that ride. Oh wait, what about Mr Toad's car...that would be unique to DL though it is missing sometimes.
Mr. Toad's car would be cool. :)

Update on my BIL....

Brendan and Erin met with the doctor on Monday. The doc said that Brendan has probably had the disease that caused the cirrhosis (Erin couldn't remember the name at the time, but is starts with "s") since he was young if not birth as it usually takes over well over a decade to cause as much damage as he has (he's 21). His siblings will need to be aware of the possibility and his twin brother should be tested soon (unfortunately he has no insurance and probably won't heed that advice :( ).

Brendan will probably need a transplant in 2-5 years. There is a medication that could help slow the progression and delay the transplant by a few years. He will start taking that after a second doctor confirms the diagnosis. That should happen in the next week or so. Also, Brendan will meet with this second doctor in September. The reason for the new doctor is that he is associated with one of the two transplant hospitals in St. Louis whereas the current doctor is not.

After the Sept appointment they will start the phych, cardio and other exams needed to be put on the transplant list. Then they will get him on the list as a very low priority. Then as the time comes that the transplant is necessary he will be ready to go and just bumped up as needed/allowed.

Also, the doctor said that though he has not experienced any outward symptoms yet, he probably will in the next 6 months or so due to the current level of damage and progression.

So...that is where we stand now. Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:
:wizard: 'thanks for the update. Will continue prayers.

Hi

Thanks to everyone who PM'd me to see if I am still alive. I have the sinus infection from you-know-where going on 2 1/2 weeks!!!!! Today is day 8 of anibiotics but I am still all stuffed up :sad2: Last week I didn't have a voice at all and spent all my time in bed with my tissue and cough medicine. Kyle did his best to take care of me, bringing me his stuffed animals and blanket from his bed and his sippy cup of water and kept asking "Are you feeling better yet?"

Anyway, hope all is well with the DDA! For those who asked, our trip is still Nov 26 to 12-3 at POR (requested Oak Manor). I will probably miss Pal Mickey's nupituals as that is my niece's 2nd bday and we are having dinner at 1900 PF and spending our last night at MK with the family. We are doing MVMCP on Thursday 11/30. DH and I are doing the 6:45 Candlelight Processional on 11/28 for my birthday and 8:10 dinner at Le Cellier.

Take Care!
Kristin
 Nice to see you. :wizard: I hope you feel better soon. How sweet of Kyle to take care of his mommy. :goodvibes

The girls are having a good time in Japan. They have 1-1/2 days left before getting on the plane to come home. They have now been to a temple/shrine as well as the sushi place & a curry place. They said they were chanting while they were there. They also got to go to some shops around the shrine which were more of the Japanese culture. They said that they liked Disneyland but it was very Americanized as are most of the shops in Tokyo. They said it is kind of strange because they don't understand most of what is being said around them. They said that they stand out because of their blond hair and have gotten some attention because of it. They are hoping to get on the train but one of Bill's stepkids hurt herself yesterday when they were supposed to go. I hope that they can do it today or tomorrow. Katrina says that the Japanese are very friendly and polite.

Chuck asked them if they saw any cute Japanese boys and they said no. However, Becky said that they saw quite a few men in uniforms (they are staying on the base where my brother is stationed - he is a civilian that works for the Air Force). Chuck didn't like hearing that!! I've told him before, if he doesn't want to know the answer, not to ask! :rotfl:
Sounds like they're having a nice time. :grouphug: This is for Chuck, it's hard for dads of princess: who are growing up.
