well, as far as I am concerned, the rain can just stop right now.
Stephanie came into work and told us we were all signed up to help her build an Ark
I asked her later on if I should go out and get a pontoon for my car?
On the way home the one place that always floods was just about there. It is a small bridge over a creek that always floods and I always wonder how the house or I should say Mansion there survives. It is a beautiful place that has just lovely gardens and during the Christmas season they decorate it so beautifully. But they must have a backup system to stop the water.
But my DD called and said they are calling for about a foot more water than they got two years ago in September. This could mean water on the first floor but we are not sure how much. When you first walk in, it is the sitting room then the dining room and then a step up into the kitchen and back to the family room. She has the dining room set I gave her that was ours for so many years and before that it was my DH's parents set. I might be leaving work early to help take care of Nicholas so they can move things. I just hope they are wrong with their predictions so she will be spared.
Down the street one good friend of theirs has his house and bar and they will probably get water damage and another friend is just fixing up another pub for reopening.
I am actually going stir crazy because I am not sure which way to go to work and if I will have to backtrack due to flooding. So I might be in for a wild ride to work.
At least MTM has boots now to go with his raincoat and hat!!!

and
to all for
and dry weather.

Zachary had broke his arm. They put a splint on and I have to call the fracture clinic tomorrow to get him in as soon as possible to get a cast.
Of course, I'll have to explain to him that he can't go swimming and do certain things with his brothers on our trip. (He's our resident dolphin who loves swimming and waterparks.)
At least, it was his right arm and he's left handed so there is a bright side. (Trying to work on my positive mentality)
