Chuck's results are back. Negative for lupus, lyme disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. However, they did find some kind of imflammatory joint disease but don't know what. Chuck has an appointment with a specialist in Green Bay now on June 21st to have more tests.

:wizard: and prayers for Chuck. Thank goodness it's not lupus or RA. I hope it's something acute (and easily fixed) as opposed to chronic.

Denise - Keep checking your mail! Pal Mickey is getting a surprise from Disneyland. I'm shipping it out today! I hope all is well with you! I'm not caught up, yet, so I don't know how the surgery went! I was sure praying hard all day long for Rees and you!

 Welcome back! Tell us all about your trip when you get a few moments.

Beth

Paula -- love the new pictures of the girls -- and not one staple in sight!

Vicki -- it sounds like they have ruled out some very serious things. Hopefully they will find it is something easily fixable for Chuck, and very soon so he is feeling better.

Glynis -- welcome back! Can't wait to hear how your trip went!

Kate, someone is looking for you to do a Buzz Lightyear design "To first grade and beyond" for next week. She started a thread to see if you received her PM. I responded that your signature said that you aren't doing custom designs at the moment and offered to make the design if it is ok with you. Let me know if you are interested it doing this for her or if it's ok for me to go ahead with a design.

Thanks!
Beth

Glynis-

So glad you are home!! Hope you had a faboo trip!!

Paula-

Once again...those are some great pictures!! Such photogenic kids.

This server is driving me crazy and I hate doing these all together posts but I'm just happy to be able to post!!

It's official!! I am going to be in the DC area for the meet!!
Only downside is the cheapest flights were for my birthday so I have to fly on my birthday. :guilty:

We won a family pass to see Cars tonight so I will make sure to give a review. That's if we get to see it (it's a first come, first on list, first seated deal).
YAY!! Where will you be staying?

This will make Paula post!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 Paula sent my kids a HUGE, GIGANTIC, ENORMOUS SSP filled with so much it blows my mind. John and I decided to divvy it out a little at a time, and they'll get most of it for their b'day this month from Miss Paula.

But, we gave them one thing this week when Rees went to the hospital. THEY LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!! Look how adorable the pillowcases are. I can't thank Paula enough for her generosity and thoughtfulness. What an awesome woman!

And, no, I did not use a stapler to attach the pillows to the kids...:lmao:

I have one more HUGE thank you for the DDA. I got Vicki's surprise box in the mail yesterday for the kids. They love it! Vicki told me it was from several DDAers. I know the gold Mickey ears are from Jo. They are terrific. I will take them on our trip and use them at school this coming year in my room. The PM clothes have all been tried on Mickey several times. And Davis especially loves the backpack with all the food. He loves playing Chef.

So thank you to everyone who contributed! How wonderful of you all.

I thank you all for the pixie dust. Becky passed her drivers license and is now a licensed State of Michigan driver. Of course, it wasn't as smooth sailing as it could have been. I asked her the other day about her Level 1 Learner's Permit and her Level 2 Certificate of Completion. She tells me both are in her purse. Now mind you, if Becky has to hang onto something important, she is very responsible and can be trusted to have it.

So, 2 hours before her test, we are going to leave and do some more practicing in a parking lot in town. Before we leave the house, I ask to see the documents. Guess what! She doesn't have her learners permit - she has her level 1 certificate of completion. Heaven forbid! We end up at the Secretary of State to get proof that she has had her learners permit for more than 6 months. Of course, we are talking the secretary of state shortly after the lunch hour. The wait is 45 minutes to an hour. So much for practice time. She gets herself all worked up and screws up the parking test and ends up crying. She passed it but just barely according to the tester. She then did her road test and passed. Thank goodness that is all over. I'm going upstairs to have a drink!!!!!

With my mom in Glen Burnie. I am hoping to come into DC for at least part of the meet. But my girls may have other plans.

Of course if we could get "Aunt" Vicki to come they would jump at the chance.

Now Vicki I told you you still may need an intervention even if you are parceling out the PM stuff. :lmao: Though Andy thanks you too!! :teeth:

Lucky you! That is what I failed my test on, I hated parallel parking! When I took our test we had to be 6-12 inches from the curb and finished in under 3 minutes. Well I did the test fine up until that point. I pulled the car into the spot and was 5 and 3/4 from the curb. Would not let that pass. So I had to retry it and then I ran out of time! Once you fail you have to wait 3 days! I was so frustrated and started crying! That damn officer told me to stop crying and keep practicing. ***! It wasn't like I was 20 feet from the curb. I was a freaking 1/4" off!

I luckily passed the first time but had to use my parents car. A nine passenger Ford stationwagon :lmao: :lmao:

Kate - Good luck at your doctor's appt. tomorrow. Let us know what he says.

Question for everyone! I have clients down at Disney right now. They left on Sunday and yesterday morning they spent the day at Animal Kingdom. Apparently 3 of them (out of 5) have something along the lines of food poisioning; it would seem odd that all three of them would come down the the SAME symptoms at the same time to have a stomach virus.
She's talked to a CM at one of the Baby Care Centers and they informed the Animal Kingdom resturant and filed a claim; I'm assuming Disney takes the info to see if anyone else got sick as well. She's wondering what kind of comps Disney can do for her, given that the family has missed almost 2 days in the park.
I mentioned to her that once everyone starts feeling better, maybe head down to Guest Services and see if they might be able to comp her 2 days in the parks, help her get more dining reservations if she want's them, and go from there. The person she talked to when she filed a claim said she should get something in the mail from Disney in the future...but she's concerned that this "once in a lifetime" trip isn't going to happen for a while and "what can Disney do for me once I'm home"...
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm honestly at a loss for this and how to help her. They leave on Sunday morning.

If it weren't during Girl Scout camp, I'd be there!!! Seriously!!! I've been wanting to drive out to Latrobe PA to see some of my cousins and also the town that was named after my ancestors (Friendsville PA). If I'm going to do that, I might as well keep on going to DC.
