I love the animal print.
Ramiro hates that I wear the air walks.
I wear boots @ work.
So after work I need my air walks.
I have a dark blue & the pink purple swirl.
He has asked me
Mom please don't wear the pink 1's out.
He knows I will someday.
I want a pair of light up tennies in my size. :rolleyes1
This will really freak him out. :rotfl2:

While at Payless this past week we saw light up high heels!!
Not a good look for anyone!!

Now that should be interesting to see what you could come up with. I wasn't real good about taking pictures back then. I'll have to see if I have any. Otherwise, I'll check with Bob & Liz next week-end at the surprise anniversary party. We are going on a Lake Superior sunset cruise on Saturday and then to Bob & Liz's on Sunday.

I'm still looking, but I will find SOMETHING! We moved the kids rooms around a few months ago, and the photo albums were in Corey's room. I just have to figure out where I put them!

I'm sorry Chuck wasn't feeling well yet. I hope you had a nice anniversary anyway.

I thought you were going to Lansing next weekend? A sunset cruise sounds much nicer!

Yeah. She just disappeared. She really seemed to like it here. I am afraid something bad happened to her.
I am really sorry about your cat.
Our cat disapeared a few months ago. We'd had him a few months at the time. My son put up posters and we went all over looking for him. I was kind of glad we didn't find him while we were driving, because I figured if we did, it wouldn't be good. After a week, I had pretty much given up on him coming home. The next morning though, someone left a message on our answering machine saying that he found our cat. Then, he left a phone number for a town an hour away. I was so happy I was crying.

What happened was Foster (the cat) ran outside when my Arminda got on the bus (he's an inside cat, but he is always trying to sneak out). Then, he must have somehow stowed away underneath my husband's pickup truck when he went to work, about 25 miles from our house. My husband works at a grocery store, and there was a semi trailer in the back that was empty. Somehow, Foster went in there, and when the truck driver picked up the trailer, he didn't notice Foster in the back. The trailer was then delivered to the warehouse, and when the workers opened the door to the trailer, Foster ran out. He was in the warehouse for a day or two before the man who called us was able to catch him by giving him milk. Thankfully, we had a nametag made at Walmart (one of those self serve machines they had) so, he was able to call us.

Well I tried to keep up but my eyes are getting heavy after several pages and I think I had 5 more to read so...

Thanks to all of you for the kind thoughts and words! I appreciate it so much! :grouphug:

Denise...I'm so HAPPY Rees is doing so well...continued prayers and thoughts for y'all!

So I have yet to post this, because I am hoping it is not to good be true. But I can tentitively go to the Washington D.C. DDA meet as I am currently not scheduled to work that weekend. :cool1: :cool1: This is all pending that our two new employees do not pull any "stunts" on us and the green card issue gets taken care of. As both myself and our manager are scheduled off that weekend. :goodvibes

Becky - I am hoping this continues to be the case. We would love to meet you next month! :goodvibes

Yes, I was referring to your post. It's after midnight - what do you want from an old lady? :rotfl:

ETA: Oh, Wow! I got one! 37,000!!

Congrats on your milestone, June! I am so glad you got one. I am curious about the hotel you have chosen too. Tammi and I are in the midst of picking our digs for the weekend too.

Morning, DDA... :sunny:

I missed reading anything from Clare this morning! Hope to have a wonderful day here as Kristin also has the day off. Off to walk the dog and have my weekly weigh-in. Talk to you all later!

So I didn't think I would have time to come here and play today but I did. I got all my parts for my tree ready to go for Wednesday night. 13 Acorns, 10 roots, 1 trunk, 5 branches and a big bunch of leaves. I also have all of registration forms ready to go except for the two I must pick up on the way to my leader meeting tomorrow night. I created my timeline. I remade the broken flower pot. I just gotta print out the ceremony and cut apart the reading parts for the other people for Wednesday night and print some brochures. I hope that is everything. If not they will have to be happy with what they get.

Perhaps Thursday I will be able to catch up on sleep, before I am off and running in full on preparations for the 60th Birthday party for my Dad.

Becky, you are so busy! You are making a tremendous difference in people's lives. Just make sure that you take care of yourself, too. Good luck and have fun at the ceremony and birthday party!

I was over on the TPAS board and there was a thread about fanny packs. One woman suggested a $268 Coach bag so we wouldn't look dorky. I told her not everyone could afford $200-$300 for a bag to wear to a theme park, and if I could, I'd just hire someone to carry everything for me. Some people don't have a clue about the real world.

Guess I'll just be looking dorky. :rotfl:

Good Evening Everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello, well the
reception has come and gone, it turned out very nice and was a lot of work but I'm glad we did it, she deserved some recognition for all her hard work.
I'll post a few more pics later but here's one of my DD and grandson the night of the reception, as you can see I've been playing with the border idea from the other thread.

Debbie

I'm glad that the reception went well. Your daughter and grandson are beautiful, and I like that frame you designed.

Thanks, Elin,
I really had a good time doing this.

Thanks to everyone who looked at the pictures.
Don't know if anyone noticed, but both my grandsons have blue eyes. I love telling everyone this because my DS and his wife have brown eyes and my DD has hazel eyes and her hubby has brown. This ole Omi was able to contribute and keep the blue eye tradition going :Pinkbounc

Terry, I loved the photos of your family!

Good Morning :)

Okay a quick update,
Olivia was feeling better on Sunday so we decided not to take her to the Dr. Instead I ended up going to the Doctor myself. I woke up at 7 with a severe headache. I took my migraine medicine
An hour later it had not gone away and when I took my temp it was 101.3. So I arrive at my appointment. The Dr sees me he asks me if this is the worse Headache I have ever had I said yes my migraines compared to this one is a 7 out of 10 on pain scale this one was a 10. So they give me 50 mg of Demerol and 25 mg of Phenergan. No change in HA. Then they sent me to the ER for evaluation.

So I arrive at the ER at 11am they admit me start an IV give me 5 mg morphine and waiting for a CT Scan. The first dose of Morphine did not touch the HA so on comes the second dose of 5mg of Morphine. Drops it down to a 8 on the pain scale. Chest x-ray done. Lumbar puncture done.
Since I still have HA I am given Dilaudid and phenergan. Eased the HA to a 6on pain scale. The ER Dr. decides to admit me this is about 4 pm. The admitting Dr finally gets their to see me around 8pm at 6pm I was given more Dilaudid because the HA was back to a 9. Finally get to a room at 11pm. Then down to MRI for an MRI and MRA of the Brain and an MRI of the neck. I have swollen tonsils strep. test negative. Lumbar puncture negative. Chest x-ray negative. MRI’s and MRA are all negative. HA was down to a 3 this AM. They gave me some Advil 600mg and I got to eat and have a COKE. The Dr. finally saw me at 1pm we finally got out of the hospital at 3:30pm went to my mom’s to get Olivia.
This was the first time Olivia had stayed the night with anyone. She sleeps in bed with Jeff and I, I am trying to figure out how to break her of it. SO I was really concerned about her but she and my mom slept on an air matress in their living room.
Okay well that’s it for tonight. Going to take my antibiotic and go to bed so Jeff can have the computer

That sounds horrible! Feel all better soon!

Everything is printed for Wednesday night, I just gotta gather everything together. I'll do that tomorrow night after my meeting.

But I could use pixie dust for no rain as they are calling for a 40% chance of rain on Wednesday night and this is supposed to be outside in a park and the place we would have to have it inside is really crummy.

:wizard: For no rain :wizard:

I'm still around...Kevin and I were discussing furniture arrangements for the new house. He has all these graph paper "rooms" and furniture cut out to scale. Very impressive, but very overwhelming.

My dh does that. :goodvibes
