When she comes back, we're getting on!

Oh, I'm so envious of you. Have fun and enjoy your time with Kyle. You guys deserve it!

Tammi you had a TP3!!!! I am so happy for you!!! :cheer2:

This has me :rotfl2: I am picturing toilet paper and my grandfather! When I was little he would follow my sister and I into the bathroom, even in the middle of the night, to make sure that we only used our allotted 3 squares of toilet paper. So thanks for the stroll down memory lane.

Kate - loved the aprons. You and Julia make a most formidable team!

I hesitate to post this lest anyone think I'm hinting for birthday wishes, but knowing your fascination with numbers, I will. A co-worker pointed out today that my birthday this year is 06-06-06.

Emma's friend has the same birthday as you, June. But she will be 6 on 06-06-06.

When I was pregnant with Molly I so wanted her to be born on my grandfather's birthday, April 4. Well she wasn't but when she was about 6 months old I realized that she in a way shared his birthday as his was 04-04-13 and Molly's is 04-13-04.

I'd start saving now for all the high school teachers they're going to have! :teeth:

Amy :)

You know, I always feel guilty that I don't do something for the middle and high school teachers. I'm not sure what I can do without breaking the bank and without my children's help (neither would take something in to their teachers).

Any suggestions?

Beth

Oh, I'm just in time for the Race for the Milestone.

Plants, books or something else for the teachers' lounges??

Jennifer, in case I forget to tell you, have a fabulous trip! You both are so in need of it.

I think the tortoise will win this race (notice I did NOT say turtle). The board is slower than molassess or else the server is busy or can't be found!! It's torture to post tonight!

No news on the loose tooth front. But the Tooth Fairy did get her $5 ready and is prepared!

Well, we know Denise's company is gone, the kids are out of school, and she has been posting lately, so I'm sure she will surprise us and herself with a stealth post. She is probably monitoring in stealth mode, ready to pounce!;)

I was just teasing Kate! :teeth:

Seriously, I hardly got any presents (for the holidays or the end-of-the-year), because there were so many of us! It didn't bother me one bit, because I never expected anything.

Honestly, the greatest gift of all is a thank you note or even a thank you letter that could go in the teacher's file. Those are time-consuming, but basically "free!" :goodvibes

Amy :)

I haven't posted much lately but have been dropping by to read so that I don't get too far behind, hopefully after this weekend things will slow down.
But after reading this post I have to share a family story. When my youngest DD was 3 we were visiting at the in-laws and we were sitting around looking at family picttures when my mother-in-law showed my DD a picture of my DH, my oldest DD and myself, I was pregnant in the picture so my MIL told my DD that she was in the picture too, she was in my tummy. My DD's eyes got as big as saucers and she looked at me very nervously and said " What did you do? Eat me? " :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Needless to say she brought down the house!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Too funny. :rotfl2: :rotfl:
